Very quiet and nice restaurant. The gyozas were a great appetizer and the ramen dish is highly recommended. The cozy atmosphere allows you to forget everyday life and relax.

It's not the taste that Japanese people like. The taste of the gyoza was good, as I expected, but the sauce was not soy sauce but black vinegar...I guess it's more like Chinese gyoza than Japanese gyoza.

Excellent Ramen. The pork broth was very thick and delicious. Toppings fitted perfectly. The Ambient was nice and quiet, underlayed with a touch of music.

Their specialty is that the soup is very thick + thick. The Gyoza is just as delicious as the freshly made ones, with a slightly crispy bottom.

Simple menu, but since we were there to eat ramen anyway, OK. We made reservations for 7:30 p.m. and were the only guests. Ramen was delicious. I find the prices to be a bit high, considering that the restaurant is located on a winding side street and certainly doesn't have to pay the "Drosselgasse rent".

The tonkotsu is almost the best I've had in Germany, and it's great that they even have vegan ramen. It's even better to be able to enjoy good local Riesling wines 😄 I can't come often after moving, but it was great to have it after a long time. suggestion!

We've been here several times to eat ramen. The service is always courteous and very friendly. Due to the small number of tables, you will be served quickly. We recommend.

It's always delicious whether I eat there or take it away. Even requests such as no egg in the ramen because of my allergy are always met. The gyoza and ramen are always fresh and the kimchi is also homemade.

Addendum April 2024 We were back in Rosenheim and our route took us straight to Ramen Wang on the first evening, and it was worth it! We were even recognized, even after we hadn't been there for two years :-) The staff was again extremely friendly and the gyozas and ramen still tasted great, so we made another reservation that evening for two days later. We would like to have this shop in Aachen so we could eat it again. We want to come back! 2022 Super tasty gyozas and ramen, absolutely recommended! The noodles are homemade and you can taste it too! Because of Corona, the sushi has currently been taken off the menu. If it has the same quality as the other dishes, it can only taste good. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, we felt very comfortable. We'll be back👍

If you're looking for traditional ramen dishes, you're more than right at Ramen Wang! The ramen is freshly prepared and served with great attention to detail, and the service is excellent. The ambience is also simply successful, from the outside the restaurant fits perfectly into the classic "Hessian old town", but as soon as you go in, you feel like you're in the Far East! Please do not listen to the bad reviews of this place. They lack context. And don't truly consider the quality of japanese food that you are in a different quality. The menu is simple, and that is exactly what to expect of quality food in japan/ramen restaurants. The owners are amazing, they take a lot of pride in their work. They locally source many of their ingredients e.g. meat. The quality of the food and all ingredients is great! The staff is extremely kind. The only downside is the risk of sitting next to unrealistic reviewers.

Delicious ramen and friendly service. A great change from the overabundance of home-style cuisine in Rüdesheim. When you entered the restaurant there was a delicious smell of spicy broth. The Tonkotsu Ramen was delicious!

This is the best Ramen that I've had in years. God, the broth is so delicious & rich. And my vegetarian GF can't get enough of the Vegetarian Ramen & Gyoza. 😋 And, the best thing about this place is that both the food and the service are consistently great. 🙂 We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. It's become our main motivation for a quick detour to Rüdesheim whenever we're visiting the Mainz area. Please never close, guys. We need you! 😂😍

The store is not big but the layout is very flavorful. The noodles are chewy and the soup base is thick. The braised eggs are my favorite runny eggs. The chicken is tender and smooth. The pork is salty and delicious. It’s worth a try!

A small restaurant in an inconspicuous alley. The selection is not large but the food is very tasty.

Excellent Ramen, house made noodles and silky broth, some of the best we have ever eaten. The mushroom ramen is vegetarian and really wonderful. A nice break from all the heavy German food in the area and a real find.

We had a menu consisting of gyoza and vegetarian ramen and both were really, really tasty. Perfectly seasoned, perfect portion size and a fair price. We would love to come back and can highly recommend the restaurant.

We tried Ramen Wang in Rüdesheim this evening. What can I say, we were thrilled, from the starter (gyoza) to the main course (shoyu ramen) to the ice cream dessert (matcha-yuzu-sesame). Everything fit together wonderfully harmoniously. Very pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive service. We would be happy to come back.

Netter kleiner Laden in einer nicht so hübschen Ecke von Rüdesheim. Das Essen mag schmecken. Für mich gab es nur die Gyōza, wo die Bedienung versicherte, dass kein Ei und Milch darin wäre. Diese sahen auch sehr nach Convenience aus. Bei den Ramen kann das Ei anscheinend nicht entfernt werden. Schade. Habe ich halt den anderen beim Essen zugeguckt. Da ich mit nicht Veganern unterwegs war, OK, die waren zufrieden, ich werde natürlich nicht nochmals hin gehen und wäre dort auch nicht alleine eingekehrt. Die Bedienung vergaß ein Essen aufzunehmen und das Ambiente ist außer ein paar Papierballons eher Deutsche Bierkneipe.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit wenig Auswahl aber dafür schmeckt das Essen umso besser. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr nett.

Ein wunderschönes kleines Restaurant mit wenigen aber darum umso besseren Gerichten auf der Speisekarte. Ich persönlich mag es sehr das die Auswahl so speziell ist und habe extra eine längere Anreise in Kauf genommen um traditionell zubereite Ramen zu probieren. Ich muss sagen, dass es sich sehr gelohnt hat und ich sehr zufrieden war. Der Geschmack ist überragend und die Präsentation ist sehr schön auch die Vorspeise mit Gyoza war so lecker wie ich es noch nicht gegessen habe.

Einfach nur genial! Das Ramen Menü war super lecker und alles ist super authentisch! Meine Frau und ich sind begeistert und werden auf jeden Fall öfters mal vorbei schauen! Wer ein Ramen Restaurant sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Da es in einer Hintergasse befindet fühlt es sich echt wie ein richtiger Geheimtipp an der definitiv entdeckt werden sollte. Die Bedingung war sehr höflich und der Service war top! Immer wieder gerne und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Als ich noch auf das Internat in Johannisberg gegangen bin, sind wir mit Freunden dort regelmäßig essen gegangen und haben uns jedes mal richtig drauf gefreut! Die Lage des Restaurants ist etwas versteckt, allerdings darf man sich davon nicht täuschen lassen. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit wenigen Plätzen, wenn man allerdings vorher reserviert ist das kein Problem! Die Ramen an sich ist zwar etwas teurer, allerdings unglaublich lecker und wirklich liebevoll angerichtet. Der Preis ist also mehr als gerechtfertigt! Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung und ich finde es schade, dass ich nun nur noch sehr selten dort essen gehen kann!

This was a most unexpected and fortuitous find - my brother and I were attracted by an old building off the market square while looking for somewhere to eat and found this in a backstreet. We had some excellent gyoza and ramen - and you had better like one of those options if coming here as that was really all the do. But as with many restaurants with a limited menu they do it very well indeed. For me the Yuzu ice cream was also a revelation - a delicious subtle lime like flavour. I liked the ambience, an old building complete with the wooden beams with some Japanese decorations that worked together tastefully. The service was good, though with just us and two other customers it was not much of a test. But that is also why I am writing this review. It clearly richly deserves more custom. Go here is you want something different from the usual German food when in Rüdesheim.
