My favorite restaurant in Westend! Also very child-friendly; my 2-year-old daughter loves the ramen noodles. Even ordering via Uber works perfectly!

My husband and I had ramen here for the first time! The staff were super friendly and patiently presented the menu! The ramen was delicious, especially the takoyaki and karage! This definitely won't be our last visit!

It's located in a residential area about a 15-minute walk from Frankfurt Central Station. It's a bit pricey compared to Japan, but average for Germany. The taste was a little sweeter than in Japan. It felt like a little Japan in Germany.

Update 2025: We were here today with our kids and were served by the very friendly manager. Ramen A3 and A6, as well as edamame, karage, and extra noodles for the kids. We had sake to drink. Everything was perfect! Service, broth, noodles. Hit the spot! 2023: Basically okay, but no comparison to the Munich branch. The noodles were undercooked. I wasn't sure if that was intentional, since both portions were the same. Maybe I should have sent it back. Unfortunately, this was a bad experience.

10/10 so far for me the best ramen in town! They have draft beer. Reservations recommended

Unfortunately, it didn't taste as good as at Takumi in Düsseldorf, but the service was great and the black sesame ice cream was very 😋

I like the outside area, but not so much the inside. The service was absolutely excellent. Some drinks could be colder (bottled beer...). Regarding the food: I've had ramen before. It was spicier, though. And more filling for the price. It was still delicious. THANK YOU!

This ramen shop uses noodles made by Nishiyama Seimen in Sapporo. In addition to miso ramen, they have a wide variety of other dishes, including tantanmen, all of which are delicious. The majority of customers are locals. There are also staff members who speak Japanese.

Very delicious and authentic food. It's a long drive to Takumi in Düsseldorf, but luckily we found out they have it in Frankfurt too. We're happy to drive an hour from Mannheim just to eat good ramen 🥘. Fast, polite, and friendly service, and the food came very quickly too. The broth is very flavorful, and the noodles are Sapporo-style. Very, very tasty. My husband ordered the vegetarian version and loved it. Parking is also easy there.

After hearing a lot of good things about Takumi in Frankfurt, I had to try it out - and I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely be back and can recommend a visit to Takumi to everyone!

A lot of money for bad food The ramen portion is a disgrace. 16€ for a block of noodles with 2 measly pieces of meat and no vegetables that tastes like soup. This remains a unique experience for me

When I asked whether the vegetable curry was vegan, the answer was yes. Then came with egg. It also tasted like it came from a can. When asked, the waitress said “egg is vegan”.

Both the vegetarian and the meat ramen were totally convincing with a slightly creamy broth, lots of flavor and delicious, slightly al dente noodles. I visit Takumi in Frankfurt occasionally for a quick lunch or dinner. After thinking about it for a while, I think 5 stars are justified - here are my reasons: 💰 Good value for money: The Takumi is very fair for the quality and portion size. 🍜 Delicious ramen and appetizers: The selection is diverse - from different types of meat and fish to vegetarian alternatives. The broth is tasty, although the noodles could be a little more aromatic. 🥟 Typical Appetizers: There are classics you'd expect at a ramen shop, and they taste solid. 🪑 Ambiance: Not a highlight, but absolutely fine, since you don't expect to spend hours in a ramen restaurant anyway. 🔊 Peak times: It can get a bit noisy at peak times, which could be annoying depending on how busy it is. 💡 Suggestion for improvement: It would be practical if you could also reserve a table online. Currently this only seems to be possible by telephone. Conclusion: Takumi impresses with good ramen, fair prices and a solid atmosphere. If you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in Frankfurt, you won't be disappointed here. 🍽️✨

The restaurant is very small, it is located in a somewhat run-down place, under the subway stop, but the food is excellent! I recommend this restaurant, I liked everything about it. I recommend booking.

I was there with my husband today.After food my husband start getting feel a bit sick , stomach uncomfortable. When we backed home, he got the runs and threw. At the end he had to go hospital and i did also threw for 4 times……..😵‍💫 Result from hospital was FOOD POISIONING!!!!

I come here very often for ramen. It's just incredibly delicious every time. The service is nice and quick and never disappoints! The ambience isn't the nicest; It sometimes smells like a toilet... but in the summer you can sit outside.

Unfortunately, the Takumi in Frankfurt was a disappointment - not reminiscent of the performance in Düsseldorf. A lot of fried food and unfortunately often of poor quality meat. It's also a shame that the ramen was very bland! Ambiance seems unkempt

I went to this restaurant for dinner, the food was good and a big portion, however, they didn’t serve the Coca-Cola in a bottle r can at the table, they just brought out a glass of it from the kitchen. Later, I asked for a glass of tap water, but despite dining there with three other people, the waiter told me they didn’t have any tap water. I asked, “How can a restaurant not have tap water?” But it was clear they didn’t want to serve it.

Very good food and very friendly service. It's a shame that there isn't a comparable restaurant near us. Clear recommendation.

If you're not welcome, just leave. Outside at 5 degrees outside temperature is not really an option 🤷‍♀️

If you want to eat delicious ramen, this is definitely the right place for you. The food is so delicious. We also had the extra hot chili oil, which had a pleasant spiciness for me. A small negative point is that we had to wait a very long time. It was a Saturday evening and it was busy, so it was understandable that it took a little longer for the food to arrive. But a lot of time passed before we were able to order the drinks, so that could be optimized a bit. But despite the stress, the staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable.

We were very lucky and were able to eat there for 3 people without reservations. It was really tasty and very seasoned. Shortly after opening, the restaurant was packed. We waited less than 10 minutes for the food. When the temperatures are pleasant you can also sit outside.

I had high expectations because of their fame, but I was honestly quite disappointed. The food was mostly bland, and for the price (around 15-17€ per plate) you can find much better ramen in Frankfurt. Wouldn’t go again

The service can only be described as above any class, in addition to the service in the restaurant, I had forgotten my wallet in the restaurant and one of the nice guys brought it to my house that same evening and then apologized for the disruption. My colleagues and I came here to eat ramen at noon, and we specifically asked for less salt, but the noodles were a bit hard and I felt sick to my stomach all afternoon...

Rustic and authentic atmosphere, very tasty gyozas and great surroundings! Service was very nice and everything went pretty quickly. I had a vegetarian miso broth (V1), which I found delicious, but the broth was missing a bit of spice. However, that may be personal taste. All in all a very nice experience!

Ich gehe regelmäßig zu Takumi in Frankfurt essen und kenne das Restaurant mittlerweile sehr gut. Bei Takumi Frankfurt bekommt man unfassbar leckere, authentische und Handwerklich perfekte japanische Speisen. Meiner Meinung nach ist es der beste Takumi nach denen in Düsseldorf. Ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht als ich dort war, das Essen ist immer gleich lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und es herrscht ein wunderschönes authentisches Ambiente. Ich komme gerne immer wieder und empfehle das Restaurant jedem, der auf echt authentische und gute Ramen steht.

The food is fine. The atmosphere is not the best because if you are sitting outside, there is a smell coming from the garbage every now and then. The service unfortunately was poor. When paying I wanted to use 10*2 euro coins +10*1 euro coins+some few 50 and 20 cents coins. The reaction was impolite and the waitress refused to accept the payment saying that they pay taxes for coins when I complained for the reaction (I doubt that coins are taxed!) Despite this I left a good tip of 10% and when leaving she was angrily out our seats back to the table and didn’t even say goodnight. Even if we disagree we can still be polite to each other :( Update: Thank you for the explanation re the coins (to clarify I asked only for few 50 and 20 cents, no 5 or less). The policy was not politely explained since the beginning, but I experienced a rather impolite reaction. Furthermore, implying in your response that I was disrespectful to the employee, is insulting. I was calm, and kind, and this is why in my initial comment, I wrote that we can still be polite to each other, even if we disagree. Apparently your response is representative of the way you treat customers!

I went there with high expectations since it's a popular restaurant, but the ramen itself was lukewarm, the noodles were soft, and the eggs were cold. The soup was delicious, so maybe the timing was bad.

It's been a while since I last visited, and it was very delicious. Next time I would like to try miso ramen or dandan noodles♪

Unfortunately, the ambience is not that nice to look at, but that is made up for by the good service and the excellent food. ☺️ We usually eat at the other locations but of course we had to stop by here when we were visiting Frankfurt. The ramen was perfect, the gyoza was also excellent. ☺️ Any time.

Both ramen dishes were too salty, therefore not recommended. They charged extra for more spiciness, but then the food wasn't even spicy. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately, we left the restaurant disappointed and will not visit it again.
