We have been here several times and have always been very satisfied. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious.

When I asked whether the vegetable curry was vegan, the answer was yes. Then came with egg. It also tasted like it came from a can. When asked, the waitress said “egg is vegan”.

The egg was uncooked and the ramen didn't taste particularly good. I would recommend Saroyashima

Great! Finally decent ramen that doesn't taste completely watered down. Both the vegetarian and the meat ramen were totally convincing with a slightly creamy broth, lots of flavor and delicious, slightly al dente noodles. I visit Takumi in Frankfurt occasionally for a quick lunch or dinner. After thinking about it for a while, I think 5 stars are justified - here are my reasons: 💰 Good value for money: The Takumi is very fair for the quality and portion size. 🍜 Delicious ramen and appetizers: The selection is diverse - from different types of meat and fish to vegetarian alternatives. The broth is tasty, although the noodles could be a little more aromatic. 🥟 Typical Appetizers: There are classics you'd expect at a ramen shop, and they taste solid. 🪑 Ambiance: Not a highlight, but absolutely fine, since you don't expect to spend hours in a ramen restaurant anyway. 🔊 Peak times: It can get a bit noisy at peak times, which could be annoying depending on how busy it is. 💡 Suggestion for improvement: It would be practical if you could also reserve a table online. Currently this only seems to be possible by telephone. Conclusion: Takumi impresses with good ramen, fair prices and a solid atmosphere. If you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in Frankfurt, you won't be disappointed here. 🍽️✨

The restaurant is very small, it is located in a somewhat run-down place, under the subway stop, but the food is excellent! I recommend this restaurant, I liked everything about it. I recommend booking.

I was there with my husband today.After food my husband start getting feel a bit sick , stomach uncomfortable. When we backed home, he got the runs and threw. At the end he had to go hospital and i did also threw for 4 times……..😵‍💫 Result from hospital was FOOD POISIONING!!!!

I come here very often for ramen. It's just incredibly delicious every time. The service is nice and quick and never disappoints! The ambience isn't the nicest; It sometimes smells like a toilet... but in the summer you can sit outside.

Unfortunately, the Takumi in Frankfurt was a disappointment - not reminiscent of the performance in Düsseldorf. A lot of fried food and unfortunately often of poor quality meat. It's also a shame that the ramen was very bland! Ambiance seems unkempt

I went to this restaurant for dinner, the food was good and a big portion, however, they didn’t serve the Coca-Cola in a bottle r can at the table, they just brought out a glass of it from the kitchen. Later, I asked for a glass of tap water, but despite dining there with three other people, the waiter told me they didn’t have any tap water. I asked, “How can a restaurant not have tap water?” But it was clear they didn’t want to serve it.

Very good food and very friendly service. It's a shame that there isn't a comparable restaurant near us. Clear recommendation.

If you're not welcome, just leave. Outside at 5 degrees outside temperature is not really an option 🤷‍♀️

Good spot to eat delicious & authentic ramen in Frankfurt. The food was tasty and the portion size was good. The service is unobtrusive and friendly. Also busy during the week - a reservation in advance can't hurt.

If you want to eat delicious ramen, this is definitely the right place for you. The food is so delicious. We also had the extra hot chili oil, which had a pleasant spiciness for me. A small negative point is that we had to wait a very long time. It was a Saturday evening and it was busy, so it was understandable that it took a little longer for the food to arrive. But a lot of time passed before we were able to order the drinks, so that could be optimized a bit. But despite the stress, the staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable.

We were very lucky and were able to eat there for 3 people without reservations. It was really tasty and very seasoned. Shortly after opening, the restaurant was packed. We waited less than 10 minutes for the food. When the temperatures are pleasant you can also sit outside.

I had high expectations because of their fame, but I was honestly quite disappointed. The food was mostly bland, and for the price (around 15-17€ per plate) you can find much better ramen in Frankfurt. Wouldn’t go again

Absolutely outstanding restaurant, authentic cuisine, delicious and varied. The service can only be described as above any class, in addition to the service in the restaurant, I had forgotten my wallet in the restaurant and one of the nice guys brought it to my house that same evening and then apologized for the disruption. My colleagues and I came here to eat ramen at noon, and we specifically asked for less salt, but the noodles were a bit hard and I felt sick to my stomach all afternoon...

Rustic and authentic atmosphere, very tasty gyozas and great surroundings! Service was very nice and everything went pretty quickly. I had a vegetarian miso broth (V1), which I found delicious, but the broth was missing a bit of spice. However, that may be personal taste. All in all a very nice experience!

Ich gehe regelmäßig zu Takumi in Frankfurt essen und kenne das Restaurant mittlerweile sehr gut. Bei Takumi Frankfurt bekommt man unfassbar leckere, authentische und Handwerklich perfekte japanische Speisen. Meiner Meinung nach ist es der beste Takumi nach denen in Düsseldorf. Ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht als ich dort war, das Essen ist immer gleich lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und es herrscht ein wunderschönes authentisches Ambiente. Ich komme gerne immer wieder und empfehle das Restaurant jedem, der auf echt authentische und gute Ramen steht.

Favorite ramen place in FFM, it’s my go-to when I want some ramen. Really amazing, nothing else to add.

The food is fine. The atmosphere is not the best because if you are sitting outside, there is a smell coming from the garbage every now and then. The service unfortunately was poor. When paying I wanted to use 10*2 euro coins +10*1 euro coins+some few 50 and 20 cents coins. The reaction was impolite and the waitress refused to accept the payment saying that they pay taxes for coins when I complained for the reaction (I doubt that coins are taxed!) Despite this I left a good tip of 10% and when leaving she was angrily out our seats back to the table and didn’t even say goodnight. Even if we disagree we can still be polite to each other :( Update: Thank you for the explanation re the coins (to clarify I asked only for few 50 and 20 cents, no 5 or less). The policy was not politely explained since the beginning, but I experienced a rather impolite reaction. Furthermore, implying in your response that I was disrespectful to the employee, is insulting. I was calm, and kind, and this is why in my initial comment, I wrote that we can still be polite to each other, even if we disagree. Apparently your response is representative of the way you treat customers!

I went there with high expectations since it's a popular restaurant, but the ramen itself was lukewarm, the noodles were soft, and the eggs were cold. The soup was delicious, so maybe the timing was bad.

It's been a while since I last visited, and it was very delicious. Next time I would like to try miso ramen or dandan noodles♪

Unfortunately, the ambience is not that nice to look at, but that is made up for by the good service and the excellent food. ☺️ We usually eat at the other locations but of course we had to stop by here when we were visiting Frankfurt. The ramen was perfect, the gyoza was also excellent. ☺️ Any time.

Small, cute restaurant with an outdoor area a 5-minute walk from the trade fair tower. They specialize in authentic Japanese ramen. We had 3 dishes. One with chicken/peanut, one with a beefy broth and one vegetarian. All 3 extremely tasty. Mine was spicy and could have been a bit spicier for me. The original Japanese noodles had a great, al dente consistency, so eating with chopsticks wasn't a problem. The octopus balls as a starter were also extremely tasty. I just didn't need the mayonnaise. There is Kirin (Japanese beer) on tap and everything is priced in the green, performance-related range. For a starter, main course and 2 large beers it was 20-25 euros. Since the waitresses were also very nice and tried hard, it was a great evening. We'll definitely be back.

The food was really terrible. It was so bad it almost made you vomit. We regularly eat Japanese food, mostly in Mannheim, and always love ramen. But that was under the sun. Maybe A temporary cook had cooked today, or maybe. It always tastes like that there. I don't know, but we don't want to try it again.

A German national chain ramen shop located in Frankfurt. The firmness of the noodles and the strong soup stock make it perfect. However, I think the prices are quite high compared to Japan, but considering that I'm eating here in Germany (ingredients, cost, etc.), I think it can't be helped. Also, the gyoza🥟 was delicious. I like how the noodles aren't overcooked. The texture was just perfect. The dish came with a very tasty soup. Without ordering any extra toppings, he already had various toppings. I would visit this restaurant again.

Well, what can you say about Takumi here, if you want to eat the best ramen that Frankfurt has to offer, you should go to Takumi!! Had the veggie kakiage tan tan men ramen and it was delicious + gyoza on the side The tofu cubes taste so delicious in this broth and this vegetable tampura, just delicious and you haven't even started with the actual ramen!!! It was nice and spicy and so filling and the noodles also had a very nice consistency The same goes for the gyoza, fried to a nice golden brown, plus a yuzuka and then this delicious ramen, you can just be happy ~ So stop reading this and go takumi with you :) It's so worth it!!

The ramen really tasted great. I'm not really a fan of ramen, but the vegetarian miso ramen was really tasty. The portion size was also manageable and you didn't feel too full afterwards. The Japanese curry was also great. The portion was really big, but that's something to keep in mind. But the meat was tender, the rice was good and the sauce was tasty, maybe just a little too sweet, but that's a matter of taste. My husband wasn't such a big fan of the bowl with rice, pork and egg. Unfortunately I just forgot the Japanese name, but see the pictures and it was an appetizer. Unfortunately, the bowl was very dry, which could be remedied with broth from my ramen. Unfortunately, the meat was a bit tough and the egg was cold, which affected the taste experience. According to my husband, the kimchi was also a bit fishy and you have to like the taste. But the starters (Veggie Gyoza & Karaage) were delicious. The staff was very friendly and extremely quick - despite the fact that we came at rush hour. The toilet is often overlooked in restaurants, but this one was not only very nice, but also clean. This makes a visit to the restaurant good all around.

The second time I came to Takumi, the impression was not like the first time I came. The taste of the food is different, not as good as when it first came.

I've been there twice. The first time I tried Ramen I really liked it. The second time I ordered a different Ramen, the most expensive one on the list and I was very disappointed. I had the impression that it wasn't fresh, there were very few ingredients and it tasted bad. Paying almost 20e for Ramen that doesn't taste good is like throwing money away. Moreover, there is very little space inside and it is uncomfortable. So... I would rather choose another restaurant.

In my opinion the best place for ramen in Frankfurt and the surrounding area and I couldn't say anything negative about it. The only negative point is the limited seating as it is a relatively small restaurant. In winter, when the outdoor area is closed, seating is limited and there is no alternative to making a reservation if you want a chance at a table. Unfortunately, it is sometimes impossible to reach someone by phone.

Good food but overhyped in my opinion. Line is smaller than at other ramen restaurants, but not really worth the line. The staff is very nice, but a bit overwhelmed with the many guests. You are often overlooked.

Very tasty restaurant. There are around 15 different frames, some of which also have vegetarian and vegan versions. For those who don't want a frame, there are a few curries on the menu. However, I decided on a pork belly frame. The broth, meat and noodles were very tasty. For Spicy it could have been a little spicier. Ambiance is functional, authentically Asian.

Very tasty, but you can't do anything with the service. Never reachable and if the appointment was entered incorrectly, then it's your own fault even though the reservation was made 3 weeks ago and only arrived a little later. It's not possible to confirm because they can never be reached

Not very pleased with their attitude over the phone. Tried to book a table so I called them over 30 times and nobody picked up the phone. Finally somebody picked up and responded very rudely. Screamed at me that it’s FULL! Then didn’t even let me finish my sentence and hung up the phone on me.

Fast and friendly service as well as very good ramen soups. Relatively small shop and was therefore quite full when we were there at lunchtime.

There were a lot of customers, very few people working, it took too long to get the menu, and I had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering to be served, but it was so bad that even though I was hungry, I had leftovers. I came here on purpose because I remembered how delicious it was when I visited a long time ago, but I was disappointed because it was so bad.

Went there for lunch with a colleague. The food was very tasty. The service friendly. The prices of the Ramen vary. As a lunch special you can order in addition some sides like Gyoza (6 pieces) for 3,- EUR. In overall for almost 24 EUR incl. a Jasmin tea it is kinda pricy for a lunch. It's probably due to the location in Frankfurt Westend and Japanese Food is in general more expensive in Germany. For me personally it's something you can have once in a while but not on a daily basis. But the taste of the food was really good and satisfying ☺️
