Good service and really good food

Very tasty ramen, I would say Top 3 in Frankfurt, the only problem for me is the insanely high price of 20€ for ramen...

I had several visits to this restaurant. I tried different Ramen and they were all delicious. I used to give it all five stars, but after today's visit I could only give four stars. The price here has increased dramatically since the last two years, from about 20 euro per person to at least 30 euro for an appetizer, a Ramen and a drink. I still like the food here, but for that price maybe less often.

I would really like to come here more often, but weekend reservations are usually only possible until 1 p.m.?? How come? Where do I start? Karaage Miso Ramen is probably my new favorite dish, but only here! I can't believe how good it tastes. The ambience of the restaurant is modest, but absolutely sufficient for the enjoyment you come here for. The staff is always friendly and the food is always consistently perfect 👍

Overall the food is quite good, but charging €2 for seasoning paste to season it is a bit excessive for me. In every other restaurant of this type something like this is on the table. Overall, it's a high priced ramen shop for average quality. A ramen and two beers cost €35 😅

To make it short: The food is very, very good. In terms of price, I find it expensive. Nevertheless, I would like to come back because the “soups” and starters are simply too good!

Simply great! From service to starters and dessert. Quality is important here! Ramen, the way ramen should taste. Ingredients are imported from Japan and you can really tell the great quality. I absolutely cannot understand the three star reviews because the ceiling is too high and the queue is long. One speaks for a top restaurant, the other should not be relevant for a bad rating. For ramen, my first choice in Frankfurt!

I came there earlier today with an expectation of ramen with (at least) similar quality as Ramen Jun Westend, however it ended up with big disappointment... Somehow the quality was far from equal, neither the noodle, or broth. I'm wondering what was the nature of the franchise if two stores with correlating names/brands do not manage to keep some basic quality? Both intentionally or simply had slipped out of the quality control... please enlighten me

It is with a heavy heart that I unfortunately have to give this a bad review. The ramen tastes good, the service is ok, the ambience, well... but that's not the problem. The problem is the PRICE!!! The first time I ate there, I paid around 13 euros for the portion of ramen. Now I'm at 23 euros for the same dish. That's just not possible!!! At the end of the day it is and remains a noodle soup! I was only in Japan for a few weeks recently and I never paid more than 5 euros for ramen there!! Please change something in your prices!! I understand that everything is getting more expensive, but you can get ramen everywhere in FfM for 13 - 16 euros!! It just can't be that I'm ripping off customers like that!!! Conclusion: The price completely ruins your meal here!!!

I wondered why always people wait in line and I had a chance to try this Ramen. To honestly, I admit that the restaurant's ramen is delicious, but I don't think you don’t need to wait in line for a long time. It's a normal, predictable flavor of ramen. It's not particularly special. Anyway, friendly staff :)

Nice restaurant but because of the high ceiling it is quite loud so you have to talk loudly. Otherwise it reminds me more of a lounge. Service was flawless and the food was OK to good. The ramen noodles were al dente but the soup wasn't my cup of tea as I was missing something (umami taste), the Chicken NanBan was delicious.

Right near the Konstablerwache parking garage, very practical. The restaurant is quite large and they also have outside seating. The food and service are very good. There's also a Ramen Jun at the fair, but I don't think it's as good as this one. There isn't much choice for starters now. The ramen noodles are very large portions. I would recommend it.

Soup was good, but 20 euro (like $30 CAD) for a soup is off point. Location doesn’t demand this kind of surcharge. Service was below expectations. Overall really nothing to write home about. 750 ml bottle of still water is 6 euro?

Somehow I wasn't that keen on the ramen - average, but not worth queuing for me. But also rather expensive. I found everything inside to be not so clean and sticky. Afterwards I read at the consumer window that the store had been officially closed due to hygiene issues. So no more for me.

I got to know and love Ramen Jun Red during my training in Frankfurt. However, it's been 4 years since my training and unfortunately I haven't eaten here since then. Yesterday (May 31st) I decided to finally visit the restaurant again. Reservation via Quandoo was super easy and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to wait in a long line. When we arrived at the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by an employee and shown to the table. Compared to other ramen restaurants I have already visited, the selection of ramen soups is quite small, but in my opinion it is completely sufficient. There is something for every taste here. You can also order additional toppings for an additional charge. The food was very tasty, I especially liked the perfectly cooked noodles. The chashu was beautifully spicy and simply delicious! Only the space and atmosphere seem a bit cold to me. The path to the toilet or the toilet itself was not clean. I still see room for improvement here. All in all, the visit was very successful. I can recommend Ramen Jun Red to every ramen lover!

It felt like half a marathon through Frankfurt, only to end up in the wrong restaurant. Then get in the right queue – given the crowds, the food had to be fantastic. I chose the Spicey Miso Ramen. When the ramen finally came, my better half said: "The little noodle soup? I can easily make that. What's for dessert?" The food was actually very tasty. Who didn't make the "little noodle soup"? You can guess three times. And believe me, she can eat really well. In their defense, there was an appetizer. We would be happy to come back, then without a starter.

This is a ramen shop with a long line of people. I had salt ramen. I was healed by the gentle taste. I think the store staff is friendly and it's a nice store.

Ramen was very good, there was nothing to complain about about the food.

In order for any business to run, they need to provide good customer service and have loyal customers. I kindly asked the staff to tell the chef in the kitchen to peel the skin of the prawns for me because I cannot eat the sea food with their head and eyes because it scares me, and it’s also not possible to do it with chopsticks. They immediately rejected my request without even asking the chef. This seemed to me like they don’t want to do extra effort to make their customers happy although it’s a very simple request. I ended up doing this on my own and got my clothes dirty from the seafood soup only because the staff were not friendly. A bowl of Ramen for 21€ deserves better service than this. I have been to many restaurants from local to fine dining and Michelin restaurants and I have never experienced a similar situation like this. Will never come again to this place, although I’m a ramen lover.

Unfortunately, the service is very inattentive and not particularly friendly. You have to wait a long time before you can order, you almost forget to order another drink even though there was hardly anything going on. The service prefers to stand around the counter together. Very good location. Wonderful food and of course very good service. Price-performance ratio met.

The price does not reflect the service or the ambience. The kitchen alone does it reasonably well. The waiters are extremely clumsy and three people chat at the counter instead of collecting money. I recommend that the boss here look for motivated and hard-working staff, especially given the price range.

Worst service ever by the female receptionist. Super overrated. I won't recommend coming here. The rest of the Staff was super friendly.but she did not understand the instructions.

I'm a bit speechless and shocked at how bad the price-performance ratio is. The service would rather have three people chat for 20 minutes than serve. You'll find it at the entrance. Instead of inviting guests standing outside in the rain to come in, they just dawdled and stood around. We had to wait forever for our food and in the end no one seemed to want to cash in on us, even though we had already drawn attention to ourselves. Ultimately we had to take extra steps to get rid of our money. Not to mention the terrible service, the prices have gone up SO MUCH. How can a ramen cost at least €20, in what world is that justified? With such poor service and interior design? Never again Ramen Jun, what a shame.

Very good ramen, although not the best I've ever eaten. Large selection, plenty of space to sit. Delicious broth and makorn. The price is quite high, as much as €2 for an egg for Ramen, which seems excessive to me. Nevertheless, I recommend it.

Very tasty ramen that is damn close to a Japanese one.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the food at the other offshoot, Ramen Jun at the fair, I was looking forward to similar quality here. Unfortunately I had to be disappointed. Ramen Jun Red is in the higher price category at over €20 per dish. A really standard miso broth is offered for this. Really inauthentic taste with bland noodles. The service is really bottomless. No attention is paid to the customers.

It is definitely my favorite among the ramen spots in Frankfurt. You should definitely make a reservation here in advance because the queue is usually super long. The prices have risen significantly due to the popularity and you have to expect around €30 per person. Unfortunately, it is a bit carelessly furnished but the food would have deserved all the stars apart from these points of criticism.

Unfortunately I didn't eat here due to the very loud music and because all dishes are made with pork. Otherwise the place seemed really super original.

The truth is that the place and the staff were very friendly, I went with a friend to the restaurant and after a few minutes we started to feel sick to our stomach, we ordered a ramen and an apple drink, honestly I had never gotten sick to my stomach like that. bad for a long time, we tried to call them but the number indicated is not correct.

I went to Ramen Jun with my colleague. We both ordered an apple spritzer and ramen. Everything was great and the service was friendly. 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant we both experienced extreme stomach cramps and pain and 30 minutes later diarrhea. Since it hit me and my colleague at the same time, right after eating, we have to assume that it was either the apple spritzer or the food. Since this store has a top rating and was recommended by many of my friends, I am still questioned as to how this happened. Normally I wouldn't leave a review. However, I tried to call and the number on file is simply not correct. So an assessment remains the only way to express my concern. Based on the symptoms, I can also rule out that it could be something else because, as I said, the symptoms started at the same time after I visited this restaurant with my colleague. I'm sorry to write this review, but maybe leave a phone number so that you can express yourself without everyone having to see it.

You always have to wait a bit for a seat here, but the wait is worth it. I think these are the best ramen in Frankfurt. Super friendly and personable staff. Food comes quickly. And the taste is simply unbelievably good. I also love the noodles, they are not so thin. And the broth tastes fabulous. I really enjoy coming here. 😊

Definitely the best ramen in town. Every time I visit the place I am always amazed by the amazing service and the food quality. The highlight of the Menu (in my opinion) is the Karaage chicken, it is fresh and tasty. Certainlythe best Karaage chicken I’ve eaten.

Pro: One of the best Ramen Shops in the city Con: The waiting line can get very long, so bring time. Prices increased but since they are good its okay.

It felt like it was just ramen, nothing special! It’s not a taste you have to go looking for!

The food was all great, but today it was a little out of the ordinary: we came by at 7.40 p.m. but were sent away with the message that the kitchen was about to close. It clearly states on the door that last order is 8 p.m. and closing time is 9 p.m. Nobody has to understand.

The food is very good, the decoration is nice, but they really have to do something about their organisation. People wait outside although several tables are free. Used dishes remain on the tables for a long while. It takes ages for people to notice that you want to order food. This store is obviously popular for their food, but they could serve a lot more customers if they optimised their service.

Judging by the crowd, the restaurant is very popular among Asians. The portions are generous, one starter can be shared. I understand from the caution tape in front of the restaurant that a reservation at prime time should be considered.

The food wasn't the problem. I just question the hygiene of the store. Met a cook in the toilet who went out without washing his hands. I mentioned the whole thing to the waitress and said that unfortunately it was the last time I ate here. It's a shame because I'm a very big fan of Asian cuisine.

I have tried ramen in many places, and they all tasted different. This place, I believe, is the most popular in Frankfurt, but I can't say it's my favorite. While I don't know exactly how authentic ramen should taste, this one isn't my cup of tea. Despite my love for soy sauce, I feel that the soup here is overwhelmingly dominated by it. It's just too much for me. The staff is friendly, but coming here solely for that doesn't make sense to me.

The taste was okay, the entry principle was somewhat bizarre and the prices were hefty. If you're hungry, ramen for around 20 euros won't fill you up.

Ganz gutes Essen, stoßweise sehr gut besucht, so dass man auch mal draußen anstehen muss. Nicht nur Ramen, auch die Vorspeisen sind lecker (kann Karaage empfehlen). Leider ziemlich teuer geworden, teilweise bis zu 20 EUR für eine Portion Ramen.

Ich habe mich für die vegetarische (so heißt es auf der Karte, sind aber vegan) Miso Ramen entschieden. Die Brühe hatte eine gute Würze und die Menge an unterschiedlichsten Gemüse harmonierten wunderbar miteinander. Die Nudeln waren on Point, auch der Naturtofu hat geschmeckt. Was mir allerdings gefehlt hat, war das gewisse etwas. Vielleicht auch die Möglichkeit den Ramen eine individuelle Schärfe zu geben. Dennoch, es war richtig und insgesamt eine Empfehlung.

Eine solide Suppe in der Mittagspause für 20 Euro! Da fehlen mir die Worte. Es sei angemerkt, das dies nicht die teuerste auf der Karte war. Das Preisgefüge scheint in diesem Laden irgendwie unter die Räder gekommen. 08/15 Einrichtung und Lage, normaler Service und gutes Essen. Weltklasse ist hier lediglich der Preis. Ob man das wirklich braucht sollte jeder für sich entscheiden.

We queued for around 30 mins a bit before 7pm and were watching some empty tables which were probably booked. Ramen and Gyoza were not bad. Would recommend the chicken karage. Staff were nice and friendly.

Die Wartezeit an der Tür ca 30 Min. Geht schnell und es lohnt sich.

Die nudeln sind für 10-20€ so lecker und haben auxh noch gute Qualität. Die kellner sind so nett. Man muss auxh nichts lange warten bis das essen kommt. Sehr empfehlenswert

Nettes, gut besuchtes Restaurant. Wir hatten nur jeweils eine Suppe gegessen welche wir auch recht schnell bekommen haben. Unsere Tischbarn hatten diesbezüglich Pech. Während die Dame ihr Essen bekam musste ihr Partner sehr lange warten und zwar so lange bis SIE schon wieder fertig war mit Ihrem Essen. Ein weiteres Getränk ging aufs Haus....netter move. Hier könnte wohl das Timing der Garzeiten etwas optimiert werden. Dasselbe passierte am Tisch gegenüber nochmal. Die Speisen sehen alle sehr sehr lecker aus, ich denke hier kann man nicht meckern.

Leckere Ramen, gleich um die Ecke von der Konsti. Update Januar 2024: Seit unserem letzten Besuch sind die Preise leider deutlich gestiegen. Fast ~20€ für einen Ramen ist schon heftig. Daher "nurnoch" 4 Sterne.

독일에서 먹은 국물 음식 중에 제일 맛있었어요. 매운맛으로 시켜도 한국인에게 맵지 않아요. 염도는 좀 되는거같은데, 전반적으로 맛 밸런스가 아주 좋았습니다. 직원들도 친절했어요.

Musste unter der Woche 45 min warten und habe mich von den vielen und überwiegend guten Bewertungen verleiten lassen. Hat sich am Ende nicht gelohnt. Ich hatte vegetarisches miso ramen. Die Brühe war ganz gut, die Nudeln auch okay, aber das Gemüse hat für mich einfach nicht reingepasst. Tofu war sehr lasch. Dazu noch der hohe Preis und der nicht überzeugende Geschmack… Würde nicht mehr hingehen. Auch das Ambiente war nichts besonderes.

Very long wait time due to lack of employees. We waited for at least 40 minutes, and that’s arriving before 4 p.m on a wednesday. The food is good, but I can’t focus on that after the whole waiting time, because it’s frustrating when guests can’t get in despite how far too many tables are vacant just because the restaurant doesn’t have employees to clean the table before bringing guests in

Reservierung per Telefon nicht möglich, da die Rufnummer nicht existiert. Man muss häufig anstehen (leider). Personal manchmal nicht ganz aufmerksam. Ramen schmeckt aber sehr gut.

Leckere Veggie Ramen. Wir haben Samstag Nachmittag knapp 30 Minuten auf einen Tisch gewartet. Mit 4 Leuten haben wir 100€ bezahlt. Der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Ramen Jun Red ist unter den japanischen Restaurants mit großem Abstand mein Favorit. Die Speisekarte ist relativ klein gehalten, was meiner Meinung nach auch besser so ist. Mein absolutes Lieblingsessen sind die Teigtaschen Gyoza mit Schweinefleisch. Ich kann davon nicht genug essen😅. Beim Kauen entsteht bei mir eine regelrechte Geschmacksexplosion im Mund. Es ist ganz wichtig, dass man früh genug einen Platz reserviert, ansonsten muss man mit einer großen Wahrscheinlichkeit draußen lange warten.
