Top FOOD! Nice service. At the end I asked for a glass of tap water. Was refused! It's a shame, great tip, high bill and then something like that. Very, very unfortunate! Ruins the great experience in the end!

It was delicious. It wasn't too loud. But it was a bit dark. The toilets were moderately clean - The focus here is clearly on good food. The freshly made lemonade lacks a bit of flavor, but the food is great!

Far below service level compared to other restaurants, the food tastes horrible , regret coming here a lot.

This restaurant serves it was so bad, especially the Japanese waitress, we speak English with her , she ignore and speaks German with us . Then after the meal, we pay the bill, waiting for 15 mini until we have to get to the counter and she says that we didn’t accept the VISA credit card, we just pay by cash . This is my second time in this restaurant.

In January we went to Ramen Red Jun as a group of four and luckily we had a reservation. There were various things on the table as a starter, they were all good, especially the karaage. The ramen was incredibly tasty, very creamy and perfectly balanced in taste. I was really crazy about the broth. The store was extremely busy but the wait for drinks and food was okay. Only after the main course was the service a little overwhelmed. I actually wanted to have the card again but the waitress forgot. We then paid because a large group came next to us and because of an additional dessert it would have taken too long for us. The toilets could have been maintained a little better I can definitely recommend the shop, but I would always make a reservation.

The best and most authentic ramen in all of Frankfurt. I have been visiting the restaurant for 3 years and have never been disappointed. The prices are fair for what you get and everything tastes incredibly good. I love this store and can only recommend it to everyone!

It was 5 degrees outside and the whole terrace and door were open, people were covering themselves with their coats. We told them to please close it but they didn't want to because the food was good but it took a while.

The ramen here is excellent and the prices are relatively good (city center location, good quality)! Due to its central location and popularity, the restaurant is very busy, so much so that you have to wait in a queue, especially at peak times and on weekends. From what I've seen, you can't make a reservation, I guess that's just the concept. I can definitely recommend Ramen Jun Red to everyone, but just be patient.

I can highly recommend this place. I got a seat at the counter just before closing time (it's my favorite place anyway). I had the spicy miso karage with egg and was very impressed. Rich broth, great noodles, and perfect egg. It's hard to find anything better in the Marburg/Giessen/Frankfurt area. We're not in Japan. Overall, delicious, attentive staff, and a nice, quiet place. The prices are on the higher end, but you can't find it every day.

My absolute favorite. There is a forever long line if you come at bad times. But the wait is worth it. If you don't want to wait in line, you should make a reservation. The food is great and the staff is also very friendly. Only recommended! ------- Edit 2025 Unfortunately, the food has lost a lot of quality and has become more expensive. Früher war das mein absolutes Lieblings Restaurant. Die Qualität hat extrem nachgelassen und die Preise sind zusätzlich sehr krass gestiegen. Leider lohnt sich ein Besuch nicht mehr.

Unfortunately, there's only one vegetarian dish. However, it's always delicious, and my meat-eating friends love the other dishes. The service is always friendly, but you do have to wait a long time to pay. They could check at the table more often to see if everything's okay. I'll definitely be back.

The best ramen I've ever eaten. From the first to the last spoon.

Often seeing long queues in front of it was of course a sign for me that it must be good. We are here by chance, as our restaurant was closed. It was relatively empty so we were lucky to get a seat without a reservation. About the food: The menu is very manageable, of course there are mainly ramen soups here. For people who don't eat pork or are vegetarian, the selection is very small. I would like to say that a ramen soup naturally depends on the strong broth and it is authentic with meat broth. So further, the service was very friendly and according to the above-mentioned advice, we were given very competent advice. So we had a nice starter and two delicious ramen soups with vegetarian broth. We eat chicken to explain, hence the fried chicken in the pictures, which was soooo delicious. All in all, a successful meal, and if you love ramen and don't have so many restrictions, this is the place for you.

The food is very good and the restaurant is warm. On the other hand, the dishes are a little expensive compared to other similar establishments, especially if we take into consideration the fact that some Ramen ingredients are only available as extras.

I was invited to dinner in the evening. The service and food were really good. I'm not usually a fan of ramen. The selection is really tasty and the ramen was very plentiful. The restaurant was actually too loud for a cozy evening and long entertainment. The restaurant was full so you should probably make a reservation if you really want to eat there. Otherwise I was very happy with the process. The food came quite quickly and there were no complications. The young people know what they are doing. Everything seems very professional. Only the ambience seems a bit like a waiting room. But that is probably due to the Asian atmosphere. If I were in town again and wanted something quick to eat, I would probably go there again. If I wanted to eat somewhere with friends, I would probably choose another restaurant.

Had a nice time…ate very yummy ramen…a little too salty and a little too pricey for my taste …but all in all I‘ld definitely recommend it. Not wheelchair friendly since the restrooms are in the basement.

The best ramen in Frankfurt is definitely Ramen Jun!! Both Ramenjun restaurants are delicious. I recommend a “veggie white Ramen”

First you have to say, the ramen is great, very tasty, aromatic, really great! A bit pricey, but you have to pay for quality, that's okay. In service, well. I stood in front of the door, the restaurant inside was half full, I was the only one outside. At some point you naturally ask yourself whether anyone inside knows that someone is waiting outside? So I went in after 2 or 3 minutes, but was then rigorously asked to please wait outside the door. Of course I went out again, the funny thing is, the lady who asked me to go went with me! Only to be taken back inside the second I stood outside. This school-like discipline has an aftertaste somewhere between nonsense and arrogance and reduces the appetite. Feel free to introduce rules if they make sense (e.g. if it's really full outside and inside), but the manager should still train the staff to apply them sensibly (e.g. tell the customer "normally please wait outside, but this is where it is right now "Eh empty, feel free to come").

Not just some of the tastiest ramen you can eat, but also incredible customer service. Someone showed up at the closed restaurant to honor a reservation they couldn't cancel because they couldn't reach me. They offered a booking at their other restaurant and even added a voucher on top. This is how you get a customer for life

Miso ramen 🍜 It’s really delicious. The service and taste are both good, but it would be nice if a little more attention was paid to the interior. I think it would be perfect if the kitchen and windows were separated with something like plastic, and the lights and tables were all in a mess. If only the interior were improved, it would be perfect.

We were lucky and didn't have to wait long. But on a Saturday you should be prepared to wait in a queue until a table becomes available. The ramen was very tasty :)

I had a ramen noodle soup with pork in this restaurant. I stopped eating while I was eating because I felt sick and left the restaurant. Afterwards I had to vomit and still have stomach pains for 4 hours now. The hygiene is not good here and the restaurant was already officially closed in April due to, among other things, a mouse infestation. Quote consumer window Hesse: Ramen Jun Tramline 89 60311 Frankfurt am Main Not insignificant hygienic deficiencies were found that had a detrimental effect on the food and dishes. A mouse infestation was discovered in the counter area. Immediate basic cleaning and disinfection of all equipment and surfaces was ordered. The company was officially closed during the follow-up inspection on April 9, 2024.

Super tasty frame. The atmosphere is not great, but the food is more in the foreground here. Great ingredients and delicious settings are the reason for the visit here. Will not be the last visit! If you like frames, this is the right place for you.

We arrived at the place and one of the waiters who was not Asian, first made us wait more than 6 minutes outside, then he made us enter the place, we were 3 people, more than 5 minutes passed and he never gave us the menu, while he saw us seated, then a couple entered without reservation and he did not make them wait outside, he made them sit directly and gave them the menu, I have eaten here before a very nice girl served us and the food was very delicious, but this time I found it in very bad taste to treat customers like that. Then I decided to take the menu on my own, but then I made the decision to leave, the first thing I expected was kindness.

Mediocre food for high prices, one of the staff was very rude (blonde lady with the bangs): she kept the door open while we were eating at the bar with the following excuse “we need to change the air in the room”. What about put an air circulation system? Instead of make your customers pay, eat on a bar near the kitchen noise and let them freeze!

I have been a big fan of Ramen Jun Red so far and was happy to recommend the restaurant to others. However, on my last visit I was a little disappointed. I ordered the Spicy Veggie Miso Ramen and, as a starter, the dressed cucumber with shallots (€5.60). For just under €20 in total, I would have expected a little more - the ramen didn't contain much more than noodles and two pieces of tofu. The service is still good and the staff is super friendly! The quality of the food seemed to have declined compared to my last visit a few months ago. Hope that changes again!!!

Excellent, hot, delicious ramen spot in the heart of Frankfurt. My spicy ramen was excellent with a large portion chashu (6 pieces!) the egg was fantastic and it’s one of the best broths I’ve had in ramen. You can upgrade to a large size as well but I got the normal portion which is big for me. Over all friendly staff and delicious food. I look forward to visiting again to try more menu items.

We started having nausea and stomach cramps about 30 minutes into our visit today. An hour later diarrhea and now 2 hours later still severe stomach pain. We had chicken with eggs/onion mash as a starter, a portion of ramen each and a bottled drink, which should rule out the latter as a reason. Apart from the fact that we are very unwell, the taste of the food was ok, but very salty. The prices are just outrageous and totally exorbitant.

Sorry, but you've gone way overboard. Yes, the taste overall is quite okay, I admit that of course. But just 2 years ago the most expensive ramen cost €16.80 and now it costs €24.30. Sorry, but that's a disgrace and no longer justified in any way. Maybe think about it again: Ramen for €24.3????? How can you charge luxury prices for a dish that has become so mainstream and is part of everyday life for quite a few!?!? It's unbelievable that you now have to pay a fortune for a dish that is so affordable in your home country (Japan...even in Tokyo...) and was once available here (in the past!) at a reasonably reasonable price. Too bad.

The food is incredibly tasty and the service is good too. But there is a very high rush, which is why “stress” was felt. But that doesn't stop me from eating delicious ramen. If you want to eat here you have to like it close and next to each other with other guests :)

On Saturday lunchtime there was a long queue in front of the door (which of course speaks for the restaurant) unfortunately the people at the beginning of the row were approached at very long intervals (a group of four in front of me, I was alone) I had no chance to draw attention to myself to finally sit down at the bar, which would have freed up my entire waiting time in front of the door (over 45 minutes). The food was super delicious and while watching the staff at the bar, there were lots of great matcha drinks coming out. I'll definitely come back.

I arrived at 4:30 p.m. When I asked for a table for two, the Japanese waitress said that rush hour was already here, totally absurd. When paying, I waited for more than 10 minutes, the woman let the other guests pay first and accused me of showing understanding in this unusual situation and asked me why I didn't come to the checkout myself. There is no exceptional situation. If you are unable to remember and coordinate the order, please pull together! Flies everywhere, what a beautiful hygienic condition. Never again.

We spontaneously managed to get a table here a few weeks ago. The food is delicious so definitely worth the hype. The portions are big and with „spicy“ they really mean business 😅 Will definitely come back.

Went there on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. and got a spot straight away. I think we had to wait a little longer for the food (both veggie). The food was delicious and there was... Nothing to complain about in and of itself. But the prices are way too high. For the ramen as well as the appetizers. 20€ for a bowl of ramen. Only the rice bowls have a reasonable price. Good to have tried it, but there are ramen spots that are cheaper and offer a similar restaurant experience. If even better ramen (e.g. muku, ramen jun in the west end is also cheaper, etc.) Nice and cozy if you're looking for a ramen spot in the city center. But it also has its price. In combination with the usually long waiting times (queue ALWAYS long), I thought about eating somewhere else.

The food is great, but the service is really ridiculous and embarrassingly pathetic. You choose a super expensive ingredient from the ramen and don't get a cheaper one as a replacement?! Sorry, doesn't work at all. The argument to this effect does not make sense to me either logically, organizationally or mathematically. Has this always been problem-free over the last few years? New operator over-motivated or overwhelmed?

Literally the only reason I come to Frankfurt - this is the best Ramen restaurant I’ve been to in all of Germany. The spicy Miso hits. And they have a kids-sized Ramen!

Very difficult for me to rate this restaurant. If you have been to Düsseldorf or Japan, you will know that this place is not authentic at all. (Same as at many Japanese restaurants in Germany). Is it crowded? Yes. Does it taste good? Kinda. Is it authentic? No. However, this place is still very popular and serves „good“ food. But sadly, nothing close to Japanese quality. Staff was friendly, ambience modern. Thank you for the dinner and having me! P.S: that piece of butter on top of the ramen just killed it for me ( in a negative way) 😌

I had several visits to this restaurant. I tried different Ramen and they were all delicious. I used to give it all five stars, but after today's visit I could only give four stars. The price here has increased dramatically since the last two years, from about 20 euro per person to at least 30 euro for an appetizer, a Ramen and a drink. I still like the food here, but for that price maybe less often.

I would really like to come here more often, but weekend reservations are usually only possible until 1 p.m.?? How come? Where do I start? Karaage Miso Ramen is probably my new favorite dish, but only here! I can't believe how good it tastes. The ambience of the restaurant is modest, but absolutely sufficient for the enjoyment you come here for. The staff is always friendly and the food is always consistently perfect 👍

Overall the food is quite good, but charging €2 for seasoning paste to season it is a bit excessive for me. In every other restaurant of this type something like this is on the table. Overall, it's a high priced ramen shop for average quality. A ramen and two beers cost €35 😅

I came there earlier today with an expectation of ramen with (at least) similar quality as Ramen Jun Westend, however it ended up with big disappointment... Somehow the quality was far from equal, neither the noodle, or broth. I'm wondering what was the nature of the franchise if two stores with correlating names/brands do not manage to keep some basic quality? Both intentionally or simply had slipped out of the quality control... please enlighten me

Simply great! From service to starters and dessert. Quality is important here! Ramen, the way ramen should taste. Ingredients are imported from Japan and you can really tell the great quality. I absolutely cannot understand the three star reviews because the ceiling is too high and the queue is long. One speaks for a top restaurant, the other should not be relevant for a bad rating. For ramen, my first choice in Frankfurt!

It is with a heavy heart that I unfortunately have to give this a bad review. The ramen tastes good, the service is ok, the ambience, well... but that's not the problem. The problem is the PRICE!!! The first time I ate there, I paid around 13 euros for the portion of ramen. Now I'm at 23 euros for the same dish. That's just not possible!!! At the end of the day it is and remains a noodle soup! I was only in Japan for a few weeks recently and I never paid more than 5 euros for ramen there!! Please change something in your prices!! I understand that everything is getting more expensive, but you can get ramen everywhere in FfM for 13 - 16 euros!! It just can't be that I'm ripping off customers like that!!! Conclusion: The price completely ruins your meal here!!!

I wondered why always people wait in line and I had a chance to try this Ramen. To honestly, I admit that the restaurant's ramen is delicious, but I don't think you don’t need to wait in line for a long time. It's a normal, predictable flavor of ramen. Nice restaurant but because of the high ceiling it is quite loud so you have to talk loudly. Otherwise it reminds me more of a lounge. Service was flawless and the food was OK to good. The ramen noodles were al dente but the soup wasn't my cup of tea as I was missing something (umami taste), the Chicken NanBan was delicious.

Right near the Konstablerwache parking garage, very practical. The restaurant is quite large and they also have outside seating. The food and service are very good. There's also a Ramen Jun at the fair, but I don't think it's as good as this one. There isn't much choice for starters now. The ramen noodles are very large portions. I would recommend it.

This is a ramen shop with a long line of people. I had salt ramen. I was healed by the gentle taste. I think the store staff is friendly and it's a nice store.

It felt like half a marathon through Frankfurt, only to end up in the wrong restaurant. Then get in the right queue – given the crowds, the food had to be fantastic. I chose the Spicey Miso Ramen. When the ramen finally came, my better half said: "The little noodle soup? I can easily make that. What's for dessert?" The food was actually very tasty. Who didn't make the "little noodle soup"? You can guess three times. And believe me, she can eat really well. In their defense, there was an appetizer. We would be happy to come back, then without a starter.

I got to know and love Ramen Jun Red during my training in Frankfurt. However, it's been 4 years since my training and unfortunately I haven't eaten here since then. Yesterday (May 31st) I decided to finally visit the restaurant again. Reservation via Quandoo was super easy and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to wait in a long line. When we arrived at the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by an employee and shown to the table. Compared to other ramen restaurants I have already visited, the selection of ramen soups is quite small, but in my opinion it is completely sufficient. There is something for every taste here. You can also order additional toppings for an additional charge. The food was very tasty, I especially liked the perfectly cooked noodles. The chashu was beautifully spicy and simply delicious! Only the space and atmosphere seem a bit cold to me. The path to the toilet or the toilet itself was not clean. I still see room for improvement here. All in all, the visit was very successful. I can recommend Ramen Jun Red to every ramen lover!

Para que cualquier negocio funcione, necesitan proporcionar un buen servicio al cliente y tener clientes leales. Le pedí amablemente al personal que le dijera al chef de la cocina que pelara la piel de las gambas por mí porque no puedo comer la comida marina con la cabeza y los ojos porque me asusta, y tampoco es posible hacerlo con palillos. Inmediatamente rechazaron mi solicitud sin siquiera preguntar al chef. Esto me pareció que no quieren hacer un esfuerzo extra para hacer felices a sus clientes aunque es una petición muy simple. Terminé haciendo esto por mi cuenta y me ensucié la ropa de la sopa de mariscos solo porque el personal no era amable. Un bol de Ramen por 21 € merece un mejor servicio que este. He estado en muchos restaurantes, desde restaurantes locales hasta restaurantes Michelin y nunca he experimentado una situación similar como esta. Nunca volveré a este lugar, aunque soy un amante del ramen.

The price does not reflect the service or the ambience. The kitchen alone does it reasonably well. The waiters are extremely clumsy and three people chat at the counter instead of collecting money. I recommend that the boss here look for motivated and hard-working staff, especially given the price range.

I'm a bit speechless and shocked at how bad the price-performance ratio is. The service would rather have three people chat for 20 minutes than serve. You'll find it at the entrance. Instead of inviting guests standing outside in the rain to come in, they just dawdled and stood around. We had to wait forever for our food and in the end no one seemed to want to cash in on us, even though we had already drawn attention to ourselves. Ultimately we had to take extra steps to get rid of our money. Not to mention the terrible service, the prices have gone up SO MUCH. How can a ramen cost at least €20, in what world is that justified? With such poor service and interior design? Never again Ramen Jun, what a shame.

Worst service ever by the female receptionist. Super overrated. I won't recommend coming here. The rest of the Staff was super friendly.but she did not understand the instructions.
