i don’t like eating pork meat especially in the form of stewed food or soups. i know this is the traditional but i wish they had other options. we got the vegetarian one. if you order spicy, 2€ more. if you want to add hot sauce to your food, you have to pay 1.80€ or something. this says a lot about a place and their mindset. the veggie ramen was below average. nothing special and super expensive. if you can eat pork in the soup, i would advise to stay away from the vegetarian. it had potatoes, tomatoes, aubergines, zucchini and some peppers in it.

Ridiculously good Ramen, Edamame and Shrimp Gyoza! Felt I was back in Ramen shop in Tokyo!

The miso chicken ramen with vegan broth was super tasty. The employees were all super nice and dripped out. The only thing I would complain about is the price: €24 for a bowl and a drink.

Good food and they treated us great

The food tastes excellent. You can taste the vegetables in the ramen very well, which says that they are fresh and organic. The broth has a very good and filling taste. The large portion fills even the tallest man. The service is very helpful and extremely friendly. The ambience is also warmly inviting, only the waiting time in front of the door is a bit annoying but the place is packed which says that it must taste good here and in my opinion it tastes very good :)

Personally, I don't think it's a restaurant worth waiting for more than 30 minutes to eat. However, there aren't many Japanese ramen restaurants in Frankfurt, and considering it's Europe, it's not bad. (There are so many ramen restaurants in Korea...) I went around 6:30 on a Thursday evening during the exhibition and had to wait about 20 minutes. All three of us ordered Tonkotsu Ramen Deluxe. All three people commented that the ramen was salty, the char siu was cold, and the egg was overcooked and salty instead of soft-boiled. Most Japanese ramen restaurants serve half-boiled ramen, but this was a bit disappointing and I was surprised that the eggs were very salty. However, the atmosphere inside was nice and the staff were friendly, so I enjoyed my meal! It doesn't seem like a great restaurant with a long wait, but it's worth a visit if you're staying nearby and really want some ramen. Oh, the gyoza is pretty delicious... Gyoza restaurant haha I regretted ordering three.

Very good and authentic ramen in the middle of FFM. Unfortunately, the reservation via the website doesn't work and you are asked to wait outside because the restaurant is relatively small and there is no waiting area. There would be a need for optimization here. The service is friendly and meets the requirements that one can have in FFM. If you like traditional ramen, you should visit this shop and plan on waiting a bit. The prices seem a bit expensive at first, but are reasonable considering the quality of the food. My personal highlight of the ramen was the fresh garlic, which you can press yourself.

There were four of us there and ate different appetizers and different ramen - but unfortunately the service doesn't understand German or English and is not customer-oriented. First of all, the ramen broths were all very tasty and strong. The kaarage and pork belly were ‘ok’. I would probably come back for the ramen, BUT unfortunately we found that the service didn't understand us at all. Wrong drinks. When we asked that we got Kirin (beer) instead of green tea, the tablet with Kirin was shown as an order without comment. After we said that we would pay for the beer but still wanted green tea, the beer was taken away and the green tea was brought after a while. We were also looked at with distress by the people who were shoved onto the windowsill in the front area without a reservation to wait for a table. In the end there was light at the end of the tunnel, the older gentleman came out of the kitchen (possibly the owner) and was very friendly to the other guests as was another young waiter. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the other two had no place in the service, especially when we left €130 for four people with a non-alcoholic drink each.

Really amazing Japanese ramen. The broth is thick and flavorful. The spicy oil and spicy sauce on top made the soup even more memorable. However, the noodles could be more al dente/chewy. Their fried chicken is also really good. I highly recommend this place to ramen lovers. And it's not a bad idea to make a reservation!

When we arrived in front of the restaurant in the afternoon there was a note on the door that said it was closed in the afternoon FROM TODAY. A nice ramen spot in Frankfurt. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. However, there are limited seating and can get crowded during peak hours so it is best to make a reservation to avoid long waiting. The food is quite authentic. A part from Ramen, there are also rice options for companies with different preferences. The price is reasonable when compared to the portions and quality of food.

I had the shrimp gyoza and the spicy miso ramen. Considering the price the portion size was extremely small. The gyoza were greasy and lacked any real flavor. The ramen looked appetizing, however it turned out to be very bland. The broth lacked the depth of flavor expected from a meat broth and despite being clearly labeled as spicy lacked that special “kick”. The pork meat was tender, however the bowl contained only two very tiny slices, there was no other garnish apart from a few strands of spring onion and black mushroom. All in all everything was edible, but not up to the price or the expectations I had of this place. 26 euros for three gyoza and a very small portion of ramen really is a ridiculous price. The overall ambiance of the place left a lot to be desired, it neither had the charm of the old school ramen shops of Japan, nor did it have a high end modern feel. Everything was a little drab and worn.

Food top Ambiance isn't possible as much, but that's not the point there. Service could be a little faster but since there is always a lot going on there you just have to be patient. I go there again and again because it is simply delicious.

Unfortunately I have to give this restaurant a bad rating because half the shop was empty, we stood outside in the cold and couldn't be brought in for ages. The food itself was very tasty but the price/performance ratio wasn't right here. The staff was so unfriendly that you couldn't feel comfortable as a guest. It was also extremely cold in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Chachu on Chachu don is cold, the rice under is too humid. Quality of rice is good just wrongly cooked. Tokutsu Ramen is light and easy to eat.

Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. The miso broth was nice and thick, very rich. The chicken karage and the gyoza were also very good. The place itself wasn’t spectacular, classic small ramen joint.

If you want to eat really good ramen in Frankfurt, then this shop is the first stop. Be careful, you should definitely make a reservation in advance, otherwise you will have to wait longer until a table becomes available, as the shop is very small. A visit here is worth it no matter what, because the food is great and the staff are very friendly. They can hardly ever be reached by phone, so it's better to reserve online.

I tried ramen here for the first time and loved it. You can simply taste how fresh the individual ingredients are. The starter “Chicken Nanban” was also very good. Will definitely come back!

My favorite ramen restaurant. My favorite menu is Aka-Ton. The broth is very tasty and intense. We come regularly. It is a bit small, so be sure to reserve in advance. Unfortunately it's not always easy to reach by phone, so it's best to reserve online.

Ramen Jun is a very traditional ramen restaurant where you sign up on a list at the entrance. This gave me a different kind of feel for the food. I'll definitely be back. Next time we'll bring more friends with us.

The service was very attentive, but what I didn't like was that a bottle of Bionade that I ordered was just put there and not poured into the glass. The price-performance ratio is not right for me. For what you pay for a noodle soup here, you can get a full meal elsewhere. It was so bland for my taste that I had to order chili oil to make it even edible. This will be charged extra. The store has pretty tight seating and it was very noisy.

My husband and I spontaneously chose this restaurant and were thrilled with the taste. We would recommend it at any time.

We came on a Monday evening (6:30pm) and didn't have a reservation, though the staff was helpful and seated us at the counter on highchairs. The food was delicious (Gyoza and Tonkotsu Ramen). The sencha tea was powdered and not brewed leaves. The portion was reasonably sized however it was rather overpriced. 9€ for 5 gyozas, 17€ for a basic bowl of Ramen and 3,50€ for a single cup of tea. Also the music they played was very pop and charts like, didn't really meet up to our expectations.

I'm on recommendation. The shop was full of guests, so the service was unfortunately not as attentive as desired. I tried the veggie ramen with tofu. I thought the soup tasted good. The veggie version was supposed to be with tofu, but the supper only arrived with a slice of tofu. I find that really cheeky, especially for ramen that costs just under 20 euros. We also ordered the cucumber salad with sesame as a starter. Simple round cut cucumber slices arrived, as if I had cut them myself in my kitchen. I would have expected a little more love here, since the cucumbers cost just under 6 euros. In summary, good, but with room for improvement!

Went there unnecessarily. When you open the “waiting list” you are only directed to a Google page where you cannot do anything. Although there were free tables, people don't want you to come in, so a spontaneous meal is not possible here.

The tonkotsu ramen were not as good as other ones. The brew was not strong enough and the noodles were 2€ noodles u can buy in an asian convenience store.

I've bothered you many times, but I'd like to write down my impressions again. It's a popular store and always crowded. Most recently, I visited with 3 people without reservations after 2pm on a weekday and waited about 20 minutes. However, the staff explained to the customer (before the meal) who was using a 4-person table with 2 people and moved him to an empty 2-person table. Thank you to both the staff and customers! The atmosphere of the shop is nice, including the staff, but perhaps because of the way it's made, it's quite noisy as the voices are very loud. Many Germans are loud and talkative... This time I had the Tonkotsu Miso Deluxe, and I was very satisfied with the char siu, flavored eggs, and of course the soup. There is no private parking lot, so you have to park on the street nearby.

Very authentic Ramen. I lived in Tokyo for a number of years and this is the most authentic Japanese Ramen experience you likely can find in Germany. I recommend the HOT SPICY Takana Miso Ramen.

I usually go to Düsseldorf to eat ramen, where there are some of the best ramen restaurants... now I tried Ramen Jun in Frankfurt and was very pleased. Ramen Jun is definitely worth it. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Clearly recommended.

The small, very cozy restaurant has a very familiar atmosphere and is in no way comparable to a Japanese setting. The ramen are very tasty and the size is enough for everyone, and the vegetarian ramen is in no way inferior to the normal ramen. The service was great, friendly and quick. Honestly, I really don't know how this restaurant managed to earn so many stars. Atmosphere itself wasn't bad, but the food (which is what ultimately matters) was way too salty. I had to add almost two cups of the water I ordered so that I could somehow swallow it. In addition, the amount of noodles was not satisfactory and the soup smelled way too strongly of pork + strongly of seafood (in a negative sense). Definitely not again... I would rather get something else for that price.

Amazing! This is my favourite place to eat at in the whole city. I recommend the aka ton deluxe with chilli oil and extra garlic oil. I do wish the chilli oil was spicier but it’s very tasty nonetheless. They have great beers available and the cold oolong is really good too. The waiters are always friendly and the food is out in a timely manner. I always come here when I’m in Frankfurt :)))

ラーメンが食べたくなり予約無しで行きました。お店の雰囲気は高級店のような感じでビックリしました。アジア系っぽい店員は無愛想で対応してくれました。味噌とんこつラーメン16€を頼みましたが、口コミにもあるようにスープが少しぬるい気がします。麺は細麺で私の好みではありません。ですがチャーシューは美味しかったです。 まあドイツで日本のラーメンが食べられて良かったですが、初めて食べに行ったのでシステムがわからないので、なんとも言えませんが水のサービスが無かったのと、麺の硬さやスープの濃さもリクエストできれば良いと思います。あと、おろしニンニクや辛味のスパイスも有ると良かったです。

Food for the soul. I usually take the white veggie ramen, and I am always blown away. One must book a table at least a week in advance. Some options can become comparatively expensive since the base dish doesn't have a lot of substance (this applies especially to the vegetarian Ramen dishes).

I visited this Friday night without a reservation, but was lucky enough to be able to get in. The Japanese store manager? The non-Japanese employees were also very kind, and since I was with a child, they took good care of the dishes. I ordered edamame, gyoza, fried chicken, pork bone ramen, and a side dish. Although the place was full, the food was served very well in terms of order and tempo. There was no wait as sometimes mentioned in reviews. The edamame was perfectly salted and boiled, the gyoza was crispy without burning, and the large fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and very delicious! The tonkotsu ramen was piping hot, the soup was rich, and the extra egg was covered in sauce. I'm very satisfied!

In one word? Disappointing. In two? Mediocre minus. I had the vegan dish and it wasn't good. My partner had a meat one and didn't like it either, and we don't tend to be too critical. Skip it.

Because I haven’t eaten Japanese ramen for a long time, I went to eat it with a happy mood. The taste of Japanese ramen is very authentic (it is too salty for us, but it is still acceptable). But at the final checkout (because we all have the habit of confirming the bill cost), we found out that the clerk added a 20% tip to the bill without permission, but we still paid the bill. The restaurant is located in a quiet side street, away from the busy Westend. The ambience is simple, with tables placed close together. Fresh air was provided by opening the door. However, the friendly service and on point menu are truly impressive. The dishes are delicious and make up for the slightly longer waiting time.
