Nice ramen spot, not my favorite in Frankfurt as I find the broth slightly too rich/greasy, but definitely recommend it.

The food is good and the service is really friendly. But the price increase to €19.50 for a small ramen noodle soup is simply too much. We always enjoyed coming here for lunch with colleagues, but it's just too expensive, a shame!

A nice ramen spot in Frankfurt. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. However, there are limited seating and can get crowded during peak hours so it is best to make a reservation to avoid long waiting. The food is quite authentic. A part from Ramen, there are also rice options for companies with different preferences. The price is reasonable when compared to the portions and quality of food.

I had the shrimp gyoza and the spicy miso ramen. Considering the price the portion size was extremely small. The gyoza were greasy and lacked any real flavor. The ramen looked appetizing, however it turned out to be very bland. The broth lacked the depth of flavor expected from a meat broth and despite being clearly labeled as spicy lacked that special “kick”. The pork meat was tender, however the bowl contained only two very tiny slices, there was no other garnish apart from a few strands of spring onion and black mushroom. All in all everything was edible, but not up to the price or the expectations I had of this place. 26 euros for three gyoza and a very small portion of ramen really is a ridiculous price. The overall ambiance of the place left a lot to be desired, it neither had the charm of the old school ramen shops of Japan, nor did it have a high end modern feel. Everything was a little drab and worn.

Food top Ambiance isn't possible as much, but that's not the point there. Service could be a little faster but since there is always a lot going on there you just have to be patient. I go there again and again because it is simply delicious.

Unfortunately I have to give this restaurant a bad rating because half the shop was empty, we stood outside in the cold and couldn't be brought in for ages. The food itself was very tasty but the price/performance ratio wasn't right here. The staff was so unfriendly that you couldn't feel comfortable as a guest. It was also extremely cold in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Ramen Jun is a small, cozy shop in Frankfurt that impresses with authentic and extremely tasty ramen. Chachu on Chachu don is cold, the rice under is too humid. Quality of rice is good just wrongly cooked. Tokutsu Ramen is light and easy to eat.

Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. The miso broth was nice and thick, very rich. The chicken karage and the gyoza were also very good. The place itself wasn’t spectacular, classic small ramen joint.

If you want to eat really good ramen in Frankfurt, then this shop is the first stop. Be careful, you should definitely make a reservation in advance, otherwise you will have to wait longer until a table becomes available, as the shop is very small. A visit here is worth it no matter what, because the food is great and the staff are very friendly. They can hardly ever be reached by phone, so it's better to reserve online.

I tried ramen here for the first time and loved it. You can simply taste how fresh the individual ingredients are. The starter “Chicken Nanban” was also very good. Will definitely come back!

My favorite ramen restaurant. My favorite menu is Aka-Ton. The broth is very tasty and intense. We come regularly. It is a bit small, so be sure to reserve in advance. Unfortunately it's not always easy to reach by phone, so it's best to reserve online.

Ramen Jun is a very traditional ramen restaurant where you sign up on a list at the entrance. This gave me a different kind of feel for the food. I'll definitely be back. Next time we'll bring more friends with us.

The service was very attentive, but what I didn't like was that a bottle of Bionade that I ordered was just put there and not poured into the glass. The price-performance ratio is not right for me. For what you pay for a noodle soup here, you can get a full meal elsewhere. It was so bland for my taste that I had to order chili oil to make it even edible. This will be charged extra. The store has pretty tight seating and it was very noisy.

My husband and I spontaneously chose this restaurant and were thrilled with the taste. We would recommend it at any time.

We came on a Monday evening (6:30pm) and didn't have a reservation, though the staff was helpful and seated us at the counter on highchairs. The food was delicious (Gyoza and Tonkotsu Ramen). The sencha tea was powdered and not brewed leaves. The portion was reasonably sized however it was rather overpriced. 9€ for 5 gyozas, 17€ for a basic bowl of Ramen and 3,50€ for a single cup of tea. Also the music they played was very pop and charts like, didn't really meet up to our expectations.

The ramen must be really decent , the broth strong and the flavours balanced. Everything came together here! Beautiful setting, very good food. The broth was strong but salty. The homemade noodles were delicious. I am very satisfied.

I'm on recommendation. The shop was full of guests, so the service was unfortunately not as attentive as desired. I tried the veggie ramen with tofu. I thought the soup tasted good. The veggie version was supposed to be with tofu, but the supper only arrived with a slice of tofu. I find that really cheeky, especially for ramen that costs just under 20 euros. We also ordered the cucumber salad with sesame as a starter. Simple round cut cucumber slices arrived, as if I had cut them myself in my kitchen. I would have expected a little more love here, since the cucumbers cost just under 6 euros. In summary, good, but with room for improvement!

Fairly small, therefore really cozy place with kind and alert waiters and super delicious food. From starters to Ramen as main course to dessert, everything was top notch! Thanks a lot for the lovely evening. Price was also really okay for the amount we ordered

Tasty tonkatsu soup, but I find noodles average

Went there unnecessarily. When you open the “waiting list” you are only directed to a Google page where you cannot do anything. Although there were free tables, people don't want you to come in, so a spontaneous meal is not possible here.

Great food and very nice service. The options for Ramen were manifold and the food was absolutely delicious. The Sake was nice and the combination was super.

The tonkotsu ramen were not as good as other ones. The brew was not strong enough and the noodles were 2€ noodles u can buy in an asian convenience store.

I've bothered you many times, but I'd like to write down my impressions again. It's a popular store and always crowded. Most recently, I visited with 3 people without reservations after 2pm on a weekday and waited about 20 minutes. However, the staff explained to the customer (before the meal) who was using a 4-person table with 2 people and moved him to an empty 2-person table. Thank you to both the staff and customers! The atmosphere of the shop is nice, including the staff, but perhaps because of the way it's made, it's quite noisy as the voices are very loud. Many Germans are loud and talkative... This time I had the Tonkotsu Miso Deluxe, and I was very satisfied with the char siu, flavored eggs, and of course the soup. There is no private parking lot, so you have to park on the street nearby.

Delicious noodle soup with strong broth. Portion is a bit small and in my opinion the noodle has been soaking for a bit too long. Basically, the price-performance ratio is still right in my opinion. We were served courteously. Nice atmosphere inside but very limited seating so you may have to wait in the queue outside if it's full.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is rather simple and minimalist, but the service is friendly and attentive. Waiting times can vary, but are usually acceptable. Very authentic Ramen. I lived in Tokyo for a number of years and this is the most authentic Japanese Ramen experience you likely can find in Germany. I recommend the HOT SPICY Takana Miso Ramen.

I usually go to Düsseldorf to eat ramen, where there are some of the best ramen restaurants... now I tried Ramen Jun in Frankfurt and was very pleased. Ramen Jun is definitely worth it. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Clearly recommended.

The small, very cozy restaurant has a very familiar atmosphere and is in no way comparable to a Japanese setting. The ramen are very tasty and the size is enough for everyone, and the vegetarian ramen is in no way inferior to the normal ramen. The service was great, friendly and quick. For this reason a big recommendation for anyone who is in Frankfurt.

Honestly, I really don't know how this restaurant managed to earn so many stars. Atmosphere itself wasn't bad, but the food (which is what ultimately matters) was way too salty. I had to add almost two cups of the water I ordered so that I could somehow swallow it. In addition, the amount of noodles was not satisfactory and the soup smelled way too strongly of pork + strongly of seafood (in a negative sense). Definitely not again... I would rather get something else for that price.

Amazing! This is my favourite place to eat at in the whole city. I recommend the aka ton deluxe with chilli oil and extra garlic oil. I do wish the chilli oil was spicier but it’s very tasty nonetheless. They have great beers available and the cold oolong is really good too. The waiters are always friendly and the food is out in a timely manner. I always come here when I’m in Frankfurt :)))

ラーメンが食べたくなり予約無しで行きました。お店の雰囲気は高級店のような感じでビックリしました。アジア系っぽい店員は無愛想で対応してくれました。味噌とんこつラーメン16€を頼みましたが、口コミにもあるようにスープが少しぬるい気がします。麺は細麺で私の好みではありません。ですがチャーシューは美味しかったです。 まあドイツで日本のラーメンが食べられて良かったですが、初めて食べに行ったのでシステムがわからないので、なんとも言えませんが水のサービスが無かったのと、麺の硬さやスープの濃さもリクエストできれば良いと思います。あと、おろしニンニクや辛味のスパイスも有ると良かったです。

Food for the soul. I usually take the white veggie ramen, and I am always blown away. One must book a table at least a week in advance. Some options can become comparatively expensive since the base dish doesn't have a lot of substance (this applies especially to the vegetarian Ramen dishes).

I visited this Friday night without a reservation, but was lucky enough to be able to get in. The Japanese store manager? The non-Japanese employees were also very kind, and since I was with a child, they took good care of the dishes. I ordered edamame, gyoza, fried chicken, pork bone ramen, and a side dish. Although the place was full, the food was served very well in terms of order and tempo. There was no wait as sometimes mentioned in reviews. The edamame was perfectly salted and boiled, the gyoza was crispy without burning, and the large fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and very delicious! The tonkotsu ramen was piping hot, the soup was rich, and the extra egg was covered in sauce. I'm very satisfied!

Tiny place with big ramen. Absolutely fantastic taste and quality food. The restaurant got the right kind of vibe for this kind of food.

In one word? Disappointing. In two? Mediocre minus. I had the vegan dish and it wasn't good. My partner had a meat one and didn't like it either, and we don't tend to be too critical. Skip it.

The ramen is extremely tasty! The staff is also exemplary! I would only spend a few euros on the interior design and, for example, lay the cables properly... But if that doesn't bother you, this is the ultimate ramen shop! :)

Because I haven’t eaten Japanese ramen for a long time, I went to eat it with a happy mood. The taste of Japanese ramen is very authentic (it is too salty for us, but it is still acceptable). The overall feeling is very good. I should have given it Very highly rated. But at the final checkout (because we all have the habit of confirming the bill cost), we found out that the clerk added a 20% tip to the bill without permission, but we still paid the bill. But my mood became very bad⋯😡⋯⋯

The restaurant is located in a quiet side street, away from the busy Westend. The ambience is simple, with tables placed close together. Fresh air was provided by opening the door. However, the friendly service and on point menu are truly impressive. The dishes are delicious and make up for the slightly longer waiting time.

Unfortunately this time it was disappointing. First I got the wrong one and then, on the second attempt, there was no sauce on the rice of the Chicken Nanban Don and the whole thing was quite dry. A pity.

The Ramen I had was not up to par to my standards. It was smelly, due to the fact that the pork bones were not cleaned properly. The pork itself lacked depth, since it wasn’t charred. The noodles did not have any chew and had a mouthfeel like normal industrial noodles. Broth was on the saltier side, that could be due to re-boiling over and over again. I would not recommend

Ambiance and service were perfect. Ramen tasted delicious and I can only recommend it. We also ordered a portion of donburi but were unfortunately disappointed. But we'll come back for the ramen.

Wow, the soup is actually truly- and well-brewed! (Not the instant noodle powder stuff in most western markets). Wow!

Good ramen, but we find them overpriced by 2-3 Euros. Also, they tend to be very salty. But the teste is overall very good and the stock is homemade.

I ordered coke, edamame, and ramen. The drinks came quickly, but it took about 10 to 15 minutes for even the edamame to come out. Other tables had only ordered drinks and ramen, but by the time they finished their drinks, the ramen arrived. It wasn't even full. . . When the ramen finally came out and I ate it, I was surprised. The soup is lukewarm. I go there regularly, but I think I'll stop going there soon. Maybe the creator has changed? Even if it's unavoidable to make people wait, I want them to be served in good condition. A lukewarm soup is not a delicious condition.

Service by the young lady and man was excellent. They were so genuinely friendly, which is something you don’t get much of in town. The food was delicious and it really reminded me of gyoza and ramen back in Japan. So nice to have found that in this restaurant! Keep it up! Thank you.

The ramen was one of the best I've eaten so far. Full of flavor and beautifully presented. Prices are a little more expensive, starting at 16/17 euros. In my case, a reservation was not necessary in the late afternoon (Tuesday).

We had reserved, but then we weren't asked anyway. The menu is very small and there is almost only ramen with pork or vegetarian. There was definitely more choice in other restaurants. Prices are also expensive for me: 20 euros for a dish that only contains a few noodles. We then only ordered an appetizer. Service wasn't very friendly, rather neutral. They never approach you and don't ask if you liked it. Rather just sit around upstairs or go outside. I don't have to go there again and would recommend everyone to eat somewhere else.

The quality is still great but the prices are now beyond good and bad, increased food prices or not. You can now find so many different versions of the card on the Internet that it's clear that the prices are increased every few months. For a plain bowl of ramen without toppings you have to budget 20€ depending on the variant and if you want to have the things that are standard in Japan, you would have to order 4-5 toppings extra, each another 1-2€ extra cost. The real deal here is almost €2 for nori sheets. Things like that should actually be in there for free! There used to be a nice little handwritten welcome greeting with origami even when making a reservation, which is no longer there. That always gave you a nice feeling of Japanese hospitality, while now, despite the friendly service, you somehow have the feeling that someone who would rather be in charge had taken over the management and rationalized away such small gestures. I think that's a shame because the shop was my favorite restaurant for years and I was happy to travel 40km to get there. Bring the origami greetings back and include 4-5 toppings without increasing the current prices of a bowl, then I'll be happy to come by more often. Otherwise I'll have to look for alternatives.

BEST RAMEN EVER, I’ve tried it in so many places I can hardly remember all of them, but this one is absolutely outstanding

Have been here several times now and it tastes really good. But it's definitely not nice to eat there. The walls dark/black. Tables and chairs very basic and the staff do the bare minimum. The prices are significantly higher than elsewhere.

As a "country bumpkin" who only eats in the big city on weekends, I unfortunately can't give it 5 stars. Even though all the Frankfurt locals around me shouted "It doesn't get any better than this in Frankfurt..." Did I enjoy the ramen? Yes, it was really tasty Gyoza was also good and the drink selection was great. Was the service not good? But...everything is there quickly, very thorough and due to the size of the location, the staff is only 3 meters away. The atmosphere? Yes, well, here are the first glaring notches for me. A small restaurant can still have charm. It's really super sterile here and the walls etc. aren't laid out the way they should be given the location and the quality of the food. It's more like a pop up store. I often heard "if the competition is bigger or more beautifully decorated, it's just because they can't convince you with the food" Ok, maybe. But what would happen if someone dared to redesign it? There's nothing wrong with minimalism, but I'm noticeably missing something here. In terms of taste, I would like to come back, but what puts me off more than the ambience is somehow the price/performance ratio. Paying over 20€ per portion for a miso ramen with an egg and 2 slices of (delicious) pork is just not understandable to me!! Regardless of whether it is very tasty and regardless of whether it is Frankfurt or not. This is disproportionate to the ingredients and preparation. But the queues in front of the restaurant prove the demand is right. The taste was great too. And as long as there are enough people who want to afford it on a regular basis, it will work. It sounds harsh but for me it all has to be 25% cheaper and I would recommend it. And no, I don't come from Swabia. 😉 But I hope you accept this opinion because it was thoroughly justified and the food was consistently praised.

We were there for lunch just in time for the opening at 12 o'clock. It quickly became full. The service speaks perfect Japanese and we enjoyed the food very much. Can be recommended 100%!

Obwohl die Wartezeit etwas länger war und wir draußen warten mussten, obwohl drinnen zwei Tische frei waren, wurden wir von einer freundlichen Bedienung begrüßt. Die Vorspeise war lecker und die Ramen mit Hühnchen, trotz ihrer Schärfe, waren hervorragend zubereitet und haben unseren Gaumen verwöhnt. Insgesamt war unser Besuch im Jun Ramen eine lohnende kulinarische Erfahrung, die wir gerne wiederholen würden.

I have known Ramen Jun for 14 years. When you initially ordered you were asked how strong you wanted the soup and how hard you wanted the noodles to be. This has been completely lost over time, as has the quantity in general, as well as the quality. My favorite ramen started at €12 and has now reached €22.90. Before Corona it was €14. I understand the circumstances that prices have risen and we have to follow suit, but here it has been exaggerated! As mentioned, the portions are becoming smaller and smaller, the quality is decreasing, in the kitchen there is usually only one person doing everything while the waitress rushes back and forth outside. The VAT increase was passed on in full and the reduction during Corona was completely withheld. Frankfurt is an expensive place, but here the economy ignores reality and the customer is shamelessly exploited. The interior is still the same and so is the cutlery.

Marinated fried chicken from starters menu is close to perfection, tonkotsu ramen is quite good, the place is highly recommended
