Yesterday we ate at the Libelle with our wedding party of around 25 people after the wedding in the Severinstorburg. We had a rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago to select the dishes and were able to decide on a range of dips, main courses and cakes. Everything was really tasty and we were very sure that the food would be great. Our high expectations were exceeded: It was incredibly beautiful, all the employees were really attentive and kind. Everything was perfectly prepared, the food was very lovingly prepared and of course the most important thing: everyone really enjoyed it. We received many compliments on our choice of restaurant and all of our guests really enjoyed their 3 hours there and felt completely at home. The contact with the boss and the Libelle employees was professional and extremely cordial both before and during the event. You could tell that it was important to everyone there that our day was perfect. And that was him. A very big thank you from the bottom of my heart to the entire Libelle team.

If I had just read up on the bad reviews, I wouldn't have lost so much money. The rice was not well cooked and was therefore covered up with a lot of fat (plastic-like rice grains). My wife's Kubideh was rubbery and didn't taste like it should. The worst thing is yet to come: The 2 portions (Kubideh + Shahpasand + rice) with 1x Coke can cost us €40. Very cleverly done, the prices on the menu are meat skewers with bread (without rice), the rice is charged extra at €4 per portion. Although in Persian cuisine rice is always part of the meat skewers. Of course I complained about the rice, but saw no response from the owner. For €40 you can have a wonderful meal for two at Persier am Rhein “YAS”. Never here again.

Overall, a thoroughly successful evening! The food was really delicious and the Persian cuisine, especially with regard to the vegetarian and vegan selection, was simply authentically good! The food was brought to the table promptly after ordering. The ambience is designed to be inviting and well/practically furnished for the space available. The service was friendly all around, was able to provide information about the dishes and worked quickly. Any time!

I was here recently and absolutely loved it! The Persian food was incredibly delicious - every dish was fresh, aromatic and lovingly prepared. The spices and flavors were just right, and you can tell there is an emphasis on quality here. I particularly enjoyed kubideh. To be honest, I don't understand the bad reviews because my experience was entirely positive. The service was also friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. For anyone who loves Persian food or would like to try it: Absolute recommendation! I'll definitely be back!

Ordered there. The meat was inedible and smelled. Unfortunately, after one bite, the food ended up in the trash. Never again
