Very disappointed because it hasn't been possible to reserve a table and redeem our voucher for months. After today's request, I was snidely told that (as always) everything was fully booked, that nothing had been picked up locally for two years and that the voucher could only be redeemed in Roetgen. It's a shame because we had a very good meal there a few times and were treated kindly. Unfortunately there was no sign of that today and we lost the voucher... not a nice finish in Merkstein

Austrian restaurant. You sit quite well, maybe your feet are a bit cold. We had the traditional menu. Schnitzel is better, boiled beef is very good. Fried chicken moderate. Good wine selection. €€€. Very nice toilets, very nice glasses.

Great service, everything tasted very good. But I was missing something special, the icing on the cake. Price performance almost match.

The reason for my rating is that the Wilde Wienerin charges €2.50 for a tablespoon of cranberry jam --- which is an absolutely overpriced outrage!!! Our reservation was made via the homepage with the reason “My birthday”. So we visited this restaurant for the first time with a certain level of expectation. Therefore, a congratulation or a little attention was to be expected, but none! We were assigned a normal table where we sat down. We received the menu relatively quickly and were told to order even more quickly, which turned into stress. The sparkling wine we ordered was not chilled – Schlummberger glasses were very nice. When I asked which brand of beer was being served, the waiter's ignorance shone and had to be asked. Beer brands, wine brands and water brands were not on the drinks menu. We ate an original Wienerschnitzel (too small in my opinion) and a bakery dish with a very strange potato salad (large cut potato slices with vinegar and oil and raw onions, with a bunch of lamb's lettuce - completely tasteless) The Backhändl was a disaster - a dissected chicken where the breading was the main actor - hardly a trace of meat. When you asked the waitress whether this was always served like that, you were shamelessly told that you had no idea at all. We have been to Vienna many times. Our conclusion: Price performance not good! The innkeepers' appearance is loud, cheeky and presumptuous To pay with EC you have to come to the checkout, no go! Once and not again, it's a shame about my birthday evening, unfortunately the guest is not king here.

The constant bad mood of the boss can no longer be tolerated. The food is mostly ready-made food from the metro, as you can see from the buckets behind the restaurant. If you can no longer do so due to illness, you should close. We are friends with a lot of Austrians who definitely have better behavior and are friendlier.

I had expressed a wish and wanted the dishes to be prepared without alcohol and the wish was fulfilled without any problems and with a smile. Thank you for that. By the way, the food was very good!
