Joseph’s in Köln

A truly wonderful restaurant right on the Rhine. Delicious, fresh cuisine, ideal for a business lunch or a cozy dinner with friends. An exquisite glass of Nicolas Feuillatte wine as an aperitif complemented the crispy chicken breast and outstanding service on our last visit.

Excellent cuisine. Highly recommended 👍 many Michelin-starred chefs could learn from it. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

The restaurant is really beautiful inside, and with the red-pink lighting, it's a cool location. We sat outside, which was nice but really uninspiring. The tent in the conservatory was dirty and could have been cleaned up. The food was delicious but not worth the price. The service was nice but inattentive; we had to try hard for someone to clear the table and ask for dessert. Bottom line: nice but completely overpriced.

Josephs removed my 3-star review from about two years ago, so I'm writing a new one now. I can't say for sure whether the following points still apply today—these are my impressions at the time: I found the ambiance very pleasant, both on the terrace and inside. The service was attentive and friendly, but at the same time very focused on additional sales. Anyone interested in gastronomy could clearly observe "upselling" here. I found the pricing of the bread somewhat disturbing: For main courses between €30 and €40, four slices of bread were charged an additional €3.20. It was also noticeable that the bread arrived before the menu, so you couldn't see the price at first. In my case, a second portion appeared later on the bill, even though I hadn't ordered it. This was probably an oversight, but it still tarnished my overall impression.

We were there for our anniversary and had a wonderful evening. For our main course, we had the beef fillet with a delicious truffle mashed potato. Highly recommended! Since we prefer sweet wine, but unfortunately they didn't have any, the waiter recommended a delicious Austrian alternative that was very fruity and we really enjoyed it. We had a wonderful evening with great food, and we'd love to come back!

Great restaurant, bread upfront €3.20 extra. They did a great job with the terrace and the interior. Service was courteous – and noticeably business-minded. Upselling in the restaurant industry is a good study. It gets annoying when you have main courses averaging between €30 and €40 and then you're seriously charged €3.20 for four slices of bread. It gets annoying when the sales-oriented offer of more bread is rejected, but is then already on the bill and paid for. That may well have been unintentional. However, firstly, the price is a disgrace, secondly, charging for bread is unusual in this country, and thirdly, it's "ordered" before the menu is even there and you can read it. Following Mr. Maschmeyer's quip: And that's why I'm out.

We made a reservation for May 21, 2025 – but only learned on arrival on August 30, 2025, that the only menu available was a Champagne Exclusive Brut menu for €185. This information should have been communicated at the time of reservation. Instead, they simply referred us to the website. We found this a clear disappointment and not a sign of guest-oriented service. We do not recommend it.

Beautiful restaurant right on the Rhine with a terrace overlooking the river. Very high-quality, well-prepared dishes with that certain something extra. A lovely place if you want to dine out for a special occasion.

Beautifully situated on the banks of the Rhine. A very special evening atmosphere. The food was okay, but also quite expensive. You're probably paying for the location. Service was fine, but you shouldn't constantly be making wine recommendations to guests.

Went back after some time (years). Pros: Still a beautiful view over the Rhine. Cons: Prices have increased significantly. Tipping is preset on the display at 7%, 10%, etc. Conclusion: At €70-80 per person, the food is overpriced both in terms of price and quality. Added to that is the American-style obligation to tip. ———————————————————————— Beautiful view over the Rhine when you sit outside. The food and wine are well-suited to the price levels.

If you're on the banks of the Rhine in Cologne and want some delicious food, be sure to visit Joseph's. Not only is the food excellent, but so is the ambiance and the professionalism of the staff. Tip: The schnitzel is amazing (just like in Austria)! 100% recommended!

I was there for lunch on business for the first time. The menu was very clear, the food was delicious and beyond reproach. The service was mostly friendly, perhaps a little awkward here and there. The ambiance was, well, okay. A few damages that still needed to be repaired didn't exactly make it any more comfortable. Would I recommend it? There are plenty of alternatives. Will I come back? Probably not.

Very friendly service, outstanding food. Requests were fulfilled promptly and without complications. A successful evening with 14 people, and the kitchen and staff performed very well. Keep up the good work.

Mega service, good wine list, very good Austrian cuisine

Today, we visited Joseph's with friends. The ambiance is incredibly beautiful and lovingly designed! The architecture of the former warehouse is impressive. Cologne has so much to offer! The service is very good and heartfelt! The drinks selection is excellent. The bread is freshly baked, and there's something for everyone in the food! We haven't been this satisfied in a long time. A heartfelt thank you for the wonderful time with you!

I invited my boyfriend to dinner here last night for his birthday and the food was okay, apart from the fact that the main course came very late and our dessert was unfortunately cold! But these are not my points of criticism! The only thing that really bothered me was that our “head waitress” was super unprofessional, unfriendly and not attentive! She just pounced on the two tables of 4 with rich people, one of which was loud and unpleasant! But of course that doesn't matter for the restaurant...money can't buy manners ;) It's the older waitress (with a Russian accent) I'm talking about..Firstly, she forgot our water. Whereupon my friend raised his hand three times, but each time she ran past him without wanting to look. Unfortunately, the fourth time I had to shout “Excuse me”. No sorry came from her where she then brought the water! Secondly, you say “thank you” out of politeness when something is brought to the table. Not even a like or anything from her. Thirdly, we weren't even asked if the food was OK!!!!!!!! The plates were then cleared a little too late by a friendly lady who did the legwork....Fourthly, after a long wait, the menu for dessert came back super listlessly and instead of a drinks menu, the head waitress gave me the daily menu again! Then she even just placed my dessert cutlery at an angle somewhere and threw the plate after it. The other waiters and the older, somewhat chubby lady who did the legwork were friendly and personable, but really I have never been served so poorly and condescendingly by someone like this head waitress!!!!!!! In the end I still had the decency to reward the cooks etc. with an appropriate tip, but in reality they wouldn't have received a cent from me! If it were really up to their service! You were just put in drawers here because you weren't rich?!??! Even though we ordered a lot and for that kind of money, I expect the best service quite simply! She definitely ruined the evening for us and I still didn't lose my respect and friendliness as a guest, even though I was really close to getting upset at times. Food was delicious and a few waiters were okay but we won't visit this restaurant again despite the nice location etc! There are much better restaurants with better service in Cologne and Bonn!

The food was OK, but a bit overpriced for the quality. Unfortunately, the service was poor due to overwork and a shortage of staff. The atmosphere was good, but unfortunately plagued by a sewer stench (outside).

Years later, I can retract my review from back then. If you'd like to see it, scroll down to the bottom. Yesterday, I discovered a high-end restaurant here that scores highly with very good service and the outstanding quality of its food. There are various menus, including a small, flyer-like one with daily specials, which I didn't use. A creamy burrata with asparagus and peaches, which had absolutely nothing to criticize, was followed by a watermelon gazpacho, mildly spiced with gochujang, of perfect flavor. The Styrian fried chicken was perfectly coated and, beyond my expectations, very juicy, and the potato and endive salad was sloppy. The meal concluded with Wäschemadeln, a kind of apricot dumplings, with a vanilla sauce that also contained plenty of raspberries. The gentlemen who looked after my table were competent and knew their wine and menu inside out. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable, the house is immaculately maintained, and the view is captivating. There is one small drawback: As is the case in many other establishments these days, you don't have the opportunity to enjoy your aperitif in peace. The first course begins after just the second sip. If you order accompanying wines, that would mean having two drinks in front of you at once, which would likely no longer match. Of course, I've already announced my return. Several years ago, my review looked like this: I would like to write one of my well-known reviews, but for the third time, I entered this establishment alone (without a reservation) and was, as user Pepe Fulgheri aptly described, scrutinized and turned away. Each time, there wasn't a single table occupied inside, and the terrace was busy. However, not being able to sit there wouldn't be a problem for me at all. It's certainly impossible that this large restaurant has reserved all of these empty tables at around 6:15, 7:15, or 7:30 p.m. (those were my three attempts). Maybe I'll be allowed in sometime, and then I'll certainly be able to write a good review. But that certainly won't happen anytime soon.

I was able to celebrate my birthday in this wonderful restaurant – and it was a complete success! A huge compliment to the kitchen: every course was a delight, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious. You can tell the cooking is done with passion! I was equally impressed by the staff: attentive, warm, and always with a smile – you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience – I would love to come back! ;)

A very nice location right on the Rhine with moderately good food, but the prices are rather high. So if you just want to enjoy the view of the Rhine, you'd be better off getting a decent red and white fries to go at the Chocolate Museum. If you're looking for a really good meal, you probably won't be happy at Josephs.

The food is quite good, but not exactly culinary enlightenment. The ambiance is pleasant, and the view from the outdoor seating is very good. The value for money is acceptable given the location and the quality of the ingredients. Service is inconsistent; sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not, so there's room for improvement. All in all, a solid but not particularly exciting restaurant.

The food is good in terms of quality, but the prices are a bit too high in terms of value for money. If some of them are higher than the prices at the Hyatt's Glass House, that's not entirely appropriate. What I've never experienced before is being asked after ordering food if I'd like some bread – and then, without warning, adding it to the bill at €3.50 per person.

Mediocre food at high prices and virtually nonexistent service. This restaurant thrives on tourists who are sure not to return. Although it's right on the Rhine, the simple furnishings create a rather poor ambiance.

Great location, especially on the terrace with outdoor lighting. The best schnitzel I've had outside of Austria. Service is also top-notch. One minor quibble, but I was there on Mother's Day and the restaurant was more than busy, so everything was perfectly fine. Highly recommended, and you can park right in the parking garage.

We were a group from Canada and Germany and booked a table for 8 people outside. We were very excited for this dinner but when we arrived we were seated inside. I talked to the manager and he told me I did not book outside. I said .. you are telling me we came all the way and now you can't do anything about it and we have to sit inside and look at a wall.. he said ... well, looks like it... and he left. I then searched my emails, finding my reservation that clearly stated in the comments that we want to be seated outside. I went to see him again and showed him. he was quite dumbfounded .. but no apology. There were 2 tables outside for our size of group but even then he refused to switch us outside. After that, there was no apology, no offer of maybe a welcome drink or a dessert. nothing. he just ignored us all night. We had wine bottles and had to refill our glass all the time. Nobody really cared and also the vibe between staffmemebers was clearly not good. they were arguing and clearly didnt like each other. Service - Horrible. We paid and needed the receipt. Had to wait 12!!! minutes to get that paper. Location would be beautiful and food was decent. Will never go back there or recommend this place. This guy should seriously lose his job if that's how he is managing his place. Mistakes happen but to say that I am the one in the wrong and even after I can proof it to not apologize or at least try to make up for it than maybe you didn't chose the right profession.

It's nice to sit on the Rhine...

This restaurant only lives from its location. We were there with 4 people. 2 meals were ok, 1 meal was too little and 1 meal was really bad. The dessert was way too sweet. The waiter was pretty rude. The bread that was brought to the table in advance (4 small slices with 2 teaspoons of herb butter) was also expensive. The prices of the food do not do justice to the quality. More appearance than reality!

My wife and I wanted to visit Joseph’s for a drink and maybe some food. But we were told at the door that we were not welcome because it was supposedly a “pure restaurant”. We found this type of rejection to be extremely rude and customer-unfriendly. A restaurant shouldn't turn away guests just because they just want something to drink - after all, this could result in a longer order. This is not how you treat potential customers. Very disappointing, we will not be returning.

Good food, but they didn't have the most traditional German dessert, Apfelstrudel, which is on the menu. The service was slow. Be patient.

Food & ambiance good, service flop! We spontaneously visited this restaurant in Cologne. We sat outside on the terrace right by the water. Beautiful spot! The food is delicious & lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, we didn't have a motivated or dedicated server. The young man gave the impression that every question was too much and every request was unwelcome. He sold us warm wine as being at the perfect temperature, and he also considered an hour's wait for the appetizer to be reasonable. Too bad, it could be better.

The location is beautiful, with a good view if you have the right seat. The service was friendly and pleasant, but not appropriate for what the restaurant is trying to offer. The main courses were mixed, ranging from excellent to mediocre, but the prices were significantly too high for what was offered. Drink prices were completely exorbitant. You have to pay for the location somehow...you have to be willing to go for it.

The main courses were really good, I would give them a straight B. However, the prices are absolutely excessive and do not correspond to the service offered. The bottom line is that the main courses are all 10 euros too expensive, that's what all of our colleagues in today's group also said. The Kaiserschmarrn was far too dry and too crumbly, which unfortunately has nothing to do with the original Kaiserschmarrn from Austria. The ambience is okay, but definitely nothing special for the price level. Therefore a good 3 stars, unfortunately it's not enough for more...

Really good atmosphere and service. But the food quality doesn't match the high price point.

Joseph's great team. Last night I went to the restaurant with my daughter for the first time. I really liked the reservation via iPhone alone. First impression we really like the atmosphere. We were able to have a good conversation without being disturbed by the echoing, annoying loud noises that are almost common in other restaurants. We found a restaurant in Joseph’s that really has honest, very good cuisine. The service was attentive and not intrusive. So we will come back. Joseph's is worth recommending.

To charge €15 for a cup of beef broth, nicely served from a stylish glass jug - where what no longer fit into the cavity in the oversized pasta plate was taken away again - with a pinch of addition, but without bread or taste, was an absolute impudence. The lunch menu was extremely manageable, but the prices were generally quite high. The terrace was not opened and the operator did not allow himself to be tempted to smile. Positive: The location on the Rhine is beautiful, at lunchtime you don't run into the doors of Joseph's and the entrance to the parking garage is immediately opposite. The perfect service from the waitress could have been rounded off if she hadn't come across as so stiff.

Very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, you don't sit too close to the neighboring table. Service was very good and friendly. The food was super tasty, of course it's a little more expensive here but the price-performance ratio is right. I would come again.

Value for money is absolutely not right.

Nobel. A great place for a special meal. There is something for everyone, always high quality. Very friendly and attentive service, we felt like guests. It echoes a bit strongly. Otherwise great. A little tip, in Austria it's called Palatschinke, here on the map it's called P. It's supposed to come from the Latin placenta :)

We were there for the first time in January 2025 and were very satisfied. We think the location is really nice, the food was really good and the wines on offer particularly suited our taste. We're definitely moving forward, also because the service was particularly nice and courteous!

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The food was of very poor quality - tasteless, and far from what you would expect for this price. Added to this were the completely overpriced prices, which made the experience even more bitter. It's a shame, we had hoped for much more.

Kind regards to all waiters. I was there yesterday as part of a Christmas party and I was positively impressed. I had expressed a wish and wanted the dishes to be prepared without alcohol and the wish was fulfilled without any problems and with a smile. Thank you for that. By the way, the food was very good!

The ambience is nice, the staff is ambitious, but then unfortunately it stops. After testing various dishes several times, the food seemed more like convenience food without freshness, but for €35 upwards, starter soup €15. Drinks including water from €9.50, wine 0.15 liters at the same price and up. The bread at the table in addition to €3.20 per person!! One would think that it is a gold mine that lives from a breath that, unfortunately, has passed for a long time. For these prices you can get far better things elsewhere in Cologne. Too bad guys.

A really great restaurant in the Rheinauhafen. We had dinner here with the company and everyone was thrilled. I couldn't decide on the selection, which is always a good sign. The starter (Wagyu beef tartare) was particularly great. The duck was also very tasty and a really decent portion. The staff was quick, friendly and accommodating. Well, the prices are a little higher, but it's worth it. All in all, highly recommended.

We went to Joseph's for the goose menu (€87). It was my first visit and I have to say it was a lovely and, above all, very tasty evening. The dishes tasted great. The pulled goose leg was a great variant that I have never eaten before. The wine recommendation was also great. The service was always attentive and friendly. In between it took a bit of a long time. But that was okay because we had time and wanted to enjoy the menu :). All in all, an absolute recommendation. I'll probably come back to try the highly praised Wiener Schnitzel ;).

You can eat really tasty food here, you just have to know what - and the service is really great. I give 5 stars for the great service 5 stars for dog friendliness. 5 stars for the steak 4 stars for the Kaiserschmarren 3 stars for the schnitzel - actually tasty but not enough meat, pounded very thin. 5 stars for the chicken 3 stars for the tartare - I've eaten it much tastier elsewhere, although the bread gets 5 stars. 5 stars for the sea bass

Really fantastic service, my compliments to those responsible. The food was also very good, hence 5 stars overall. Nevertheless, I don't want to go there again. For me it was too hip and too many super duper great suits. I perceive Joseph's (grammatically wrong for Germany) as a business restaurant and therefore I don't go there in my free time. Then head towards Eigelstein.

A great restaurant with a wonderful ambience and very attentive service. The terrace is heated and is also open in winter. Very good lunch (even on Mondays!) The fantastic view of the Rhine, the cathedral and the chic Rhine promenade is included free of charge🥂🤩 I go there more often now👍

We had an unforgettable evening! The waiter was incredibly rude. The food is absolutely overpriced. We won't openly communicate what else we experienced here. We definitely won't be entering this house again. What a shame!

I, a young woman, visited the toilet with the permission of the kitchen staff. After I closed the cabin door behind me, someone knocked hard on it. To my “yes?” the person didn't respond. As I exited the women's restroom, a male employee was sitting at the table in front of the toilets folding napkins. She immediately shouted at me with the words "Please say hello in here" so loudly and aggressively that other staff who were outside ran in to investigate. I told them to look after the man. I quickly left the restaurant to avoid further aggression from the man.

An excellent address in Cologne. The dishes offered are all hearty and well cooked.

Nice ambience, old granary, friendly service and super delicious food

This was our third time at Josephs and we will be back a fourth time. The food was always great. Service very attentive and friendly. Location directly on the Rhine provides a great setting. Very good address.

As of today, October 8th, 2024 - I'm rating a location for the third time for the first time - there's a reason for that. We went to dinner yesterday and had a perfect evening with fantastic food (etagere for 2) and chateaubriand as the main course. From bread to dip, sauces - down to the smallest part of this wonderful meal, oh, simply delicious. The meat was perfect, everything was lovingly prepared. In addition, a very nice service, very pleasant and apparently new in the house. Great, mercimerci and please do it again! Update today 12/21/23, a wonderful evening, great service, delicious tuna and zander, fine wines, we were very happy and will be back soon. Thank you! Older review from 1.5 years ago... Nice ambience, the menu is quite small and since we both wanted to eat something very unconventional instead of a starter/main course, we simply ordered the étagère, which is actually intended for 4 people, for ourselves 2. This gives you 4 things to try and since it was our first time at Joseph's, you also get a good cross-view ;). Plus champagne, very tasty. We particularly liked the yellow beetroot with goat cheese and the ceviche with coriander etc. The service was great, very pleasant, friendly and everything was great, we would love to come back. Beautiful decorations and lighting at Christmas time and everything was very well maintained...

Beautiful location right on the Rhine, you can sit outside even in autumn. There are radiant heaters that provide pleasant warmth. Unfortunately, when it gets dark outside, a lot of spiders appear, which are pulled from the ceiling by the warmth of the steel - nature, you don't do much about it, but it might be good to know when deciding whether to sit inside or outside. The food was delicious, the main course could have been bigger. Fried chicken was very tasty, Kaiserschmarrn was also good. Tafelspitz with fries came without fries. Service very friendly, although not entirely confident in giving advice on the dishes.

We have rarely seen such an unfriendly waiter. I have never experienced a head waiter unfairly treating me like a little child in front of my guests. When making a reservation they simply added extra people without informing us that apparently you have to pay money for them if there are fewer of them. We practically had to run after the head waiter to place orders. When I asked for change after giving a tip, I was told that change had to be fetched first. This gave us the clear feeling that we wanted to get more tips. The food is definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. Very disappointing.

The restaurant is beautifully situated on the Rhine and the terrace is almost winterproof. The service was very discreetly accommodating. The food was very good quality. The 4 of us found the starter plate and the dessert disproportionately expensive. The location and understanding of Cologne probably determine this. Also worth mentioning is the great underground car park, which allows you to drive almost to the entrance. We'd love to come back, that's all that counts.

We were in the restaurant 10 minutes before opening time...we were asked out again with the reason: The team is still eating...wait outside!!! Unbelievable!!! I would never go there again, nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone, we have never experienced such unfriendliness!!!! The door then slammed behind us!

On a rainy Wednesday evening, I departed and traveled to Joseph's to get a schnitzel. I arrived at Joseph's at 9:19 p.m. (9:19 p.m.) and happily waited at the front to be seated. I was greeted by a male who said the kitchen is closed but you can get beer. I kindly asked what time the kitchen closed and the man replied 9:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m.). I looked at my watch and said it's "9:21 p.m.". If the restaurant has not been (what appears to be) at LEAST 50% occupied (outdoor patio also over 50% full), I would understand why they would want to clock out slightly earlier. Please note that prior to heading out on my journey to Joseph's I checked the restaurant's website and it states that the kitchen closes at 10:00 p.m. (10:00 p.m.). I tried to chage the people's minds with failure. The male was firm and would not accommodate. It is very disappointing and misleading. I wasted my precious time. I'm traveling through Cologne for only 3 days and wanted to make the most of it. I feel robbed of a great dinner elsewhere. Had the restaurant had correct information on THEIR OWN WEBSITE (https://www.josephs-koeln.de/reservierung/) I would be able to say that I enjoyed Cologne to the fullest. I'm literally left in the dark, hungry, wet and cold. I'm quite a positive person but the options were scarce in this area at this time. It is very unfortunate that Joseph's refused to honor what they have started on their website. Very unprofessional. Very disappointing. Very Misleading. Very lazy. Please note that before I left for Joseph's, I had checked the restaurant's website and it said that the kitchen closes at 10:00 p.m. (10:00 p.m.). I tried in vain to change the person's mind. The man remained stubborn and refused to give in. It is very disappointing and misleading. I wasted my precious time. I'm only traveling in Cologne for three days and wanted to make the most of it. I feel cheated out of a great dinner somewhere else. If the restaurant had had correct information on ITS OWN WEBSITE (https://www.josephs-koeln.de/reservierung/), I could say that I enjoyed Cologne to the fullest. I'm literally standing in the dark, hungry, wet and cold. I'm a pretty positive person, but opportunities were few and far between in this area at the time. It is very unfortunate that Joseph's has refused to follow through on what they started on their website. Very unprofessional. Very disappointing. Very misleading. Very lazy. I hate to leave a bad review, but I firmly believe that this one star is well deserved because I was unfairly rejected.

Arrived at 9:20pm and they told us kitchen is already closed.

Fantastic service, the meat was very tender, the vegetables were crunchy and very well done. Excellent wine list thank you very much very friendly staff

The cod fillet was ordered and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The food was incredibly good, the knife was hardly used at all, so you could just enjoy it. The service was great! Especially in the very warm weather (28 degrees Celsius), care was always taken to top up the water and wine. In general, service was always at the table when you needed it and absolutely not intrusive! 5/5… Definitely!

I didn't look for the location itself. But a stand at the NRW Day 2024 in Cologne.

In short: simply outstanding. The food, the service, the ambience right on the Rhine promenade - everything was right. We had zucchini flowers as a starter and monkfish with green asparagus as a main course, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

Very nice and very good restaurant with a great terrace and view of the Rhine and the city. Good, attentive service, good wine list, prices are already high.

Very nice atmosphere, great food

This restaurant was recommended to us by our neighbor in the harbor and again a successful address in Köln!! We were lucky and got another table on the terrace overlooking the Rhine. The prices of this restaurant are slightly higher, but what we got on our plate was really tasty. Original starter suggestion, original pasta with Pfilsen. Attentive and friendly waiters. Highly recommended!

I ordered cod for 38€, I got fish fingers with no side dish, no salad... They were just cod fish fingers that I would have taken out of the freezer at the supermarket for 4.99. Taste thing. Personally, I didn't like it.

Update: Reservation outside with dachshund. Water and treats were provided straight away and the chateaubriand was perfect again. Another wonderful evening outside on the terrace with our dachshund. Super friendly service and the Chateaubriand food was cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere on the terrace is great. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Too much upselling for my taste. The prices are far too high for the dishes or the portions are too small. I left the restaurant hungry.

The two of us were there at lunchtime and wanted to eat something! There were 4 guests present besides us and we were assigned a table on the terrace! After ordering the drinks, however, we decided against a dish because the prices were probably justified in terms of quality (the cheapest dish on the lunch menu is only available from €18.00) because we weren't hungry for more than €36! Ultimately, when we said no to the food order from the female waiter and said we would stick with the drinks and have another coffee, the set of cutlery and serving items were sloppily cleared away! A few minutes later another person (probably the manager of the restaurant) came to the table and explained to us that it was purely a restaurant and that we wouldn't have gotten a table otherwise! (But it says restaurant/bar next to it) Well, the sound makes the music! I was embarrassed because I wanted to show my wife the restaurant in an Instagram display based on a good recommendation and use it! I wish you much success with your future hospitality and can only say... Unfortunately the guest no longer felt welcome! The ambience was very nice, the toilets... well (with 6 guests) sorry for the review!

Nice restaurant with nice service right on the Rhine. The lunch was delicious and affordable. Unfortunately I didn't tip enough, which I'll make up for on my next visit for karma reasons. At least it doesn't have an evil eye ;-)
