Very disappointed because it hasn't been possible to reserve a table and redeem our voucher for months. After today's request, I was snidely told that (as always) everything was fully booked, that nothing had been picked up locally for two years and that the voucher could only be redeemed in Roetgen. It's a shame because we had a very good meal there a few times and were treated kindly. Unfortunately there was no sign of that today and we lost the voucher... not a nice finish in Merkstein

Austrian cuisine in its best guise. From the friendly service to the tasteful decor to the perfect Wiener Schnitzel, everything was perfect. The desserts are also to die for.

Haven't eaten such delicious food in a long time. Fantastic!

Solid schnitzel, but the potato salad was too mushy. The Kaiserschmarren could have been more juicy for us. Service was a bit chaotic. Drinks were missing, and extra dishes were brought out that we hadn't ordered. Overall, though, it was solid and a pretty good place for schnitzel.

Very rustic and classically furnished, you immediately feel like you are on holiday on the Danube. The service is very attentive, the food is very good and the owners are very friendly. An absolute recommendation for friends of Viennese cuisine.

If you like Austrian cuisine, this is the place for you. Delicious and hearty. I always enjoy coming here.

The constant bad mood of the boss can no longer be tolerated. Most of the food is ready-made food from the metro, as you can see from the buckets behind the restaurant. If you can no longer do so due to illness, you should close. We are friends with a lot of Austrians who definitely have better behavior and are friendlier.

We had a lovely evening with great food.

My wife and I wanted to visit Joseph’s for a drink and maybe some food. But we were told at the door that we were not welcome because it was supposedly a “pure restaurant”. We found this type of rejection to be extremely rude and customer-unfriendly. A restaurant shouldn't turn away guests just because they just want something to drink - after all, this could result in a longer order. This is not how you treat potential customers. Very disappointing, we will not be returning.
