The food was consistently delicious. The fish is top-notch! Even our visitor from the city was impressed. The service is polite, but could be more attentive. Unfortunately, we also have to deduct a point for the ambiance, as we once had a table where there were strange noises and a smell of manure. According to the information, this cannot be controlled. Since then, we only stay in the other room, where we feel comfortable.

We've been going to the Forellenhof for some time now, and we're always impressed. The food is always excellent, and the service is competent and extremely friendly. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

When I got off the station, it was the first address I went to feel like I had arrived in Hamburg. There were polite employees and delicious fish. I had the mixed fried fish plate, it was very delicious, and the potato salad was also great! The prices are a bit high, but I can say it's normal for such a famous and beautiful place.

Totally delicious, recommended!

If you like fish and seafood, this is the place for you. So far I have not found a better restaurant in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. Service was nice, food was great. What more could you want? Recommended.

Food was cold, far too little and took forever

Unfortunately I have to give one star to give the review. The website asks for a reservation, but unfortunately you can't make it ‼️‼️ Although we called several times, no one answered the phone ‼️‼️ Then we made an online reservation. There was no feedback on this. It's just a shame and therefore not good advertising 😭.

Very friendly service, large portions, but the food deducted because they used frozen vegetables. It just didn't taste good.

I was standing in line for close to 10 minutes today at around 18:00. Both ladies working at that time were visibly ignoring me and at least 3 other people who wanted to buy food. I guess they don't want my money here, so I went and bought food at some other place that would actually give me service.

The creamy pumpkin soup was absolutely delicious and superbly seasoned – a real treat! We also really liked the dessert, really tasty. Unfortunately, the main course with the buffet wasn't entirely convincing, so I would have expected a little more. Nevertheless, you have to say that the atmosphere is really great – cozy and inviting. A small negative point: the chairs were unfortunately quite uncomfortable. But overall a nice experience!

Good prices per quality. Fresh fish, recommended.
