Oliveira's Snack Bar in Cuxhaven

We were there last weekend, and of the three restaurants, this one was the "worst." The noodle soup was poorly prepared and tasted of nothing.

Unfortunately this restaurant has closed forever. That's too bad. I really enjoyed eating here. It was always very good.

We arrived late, our bike broken 😌. The owner, Ruddi, had actually closed the kitchen. He thought about it, then I'll make herring with potato salad ✅💪💯 Simply amazing, and the taste, I've never tasted it before. Please keep going, we'll be back.

Terrible service. As new arrivals, we were greeted very expansively by a "manager" (a dark-haired, approximately 1.65m tall woman on August 5, 2025, at approximately 3:30 PM). A single, brief, and quiet, unfortunately easily missed "hello" was ignored by my partner and, shockingly, resulted in a very expansive and unprofessional response from the service provider, making us, as guests and paying customers, feel very uncomfortable. If this behavior becomes more frequent, I wouldn't be surprised if we see fewer, or eventually no, solvent customers coming soon.

For me, this is the best fish shop. Everything is super fresh and the rolls are crispy from the bakery. I can't pass it by.
