Fancy a change, very decent fish grill, plenty of choice. Do some research on your fish before you go.

I visited Istanbul Fisch Restaurant in Frankfurt and overall had a mixed experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not cozy, it was cold. The service staff were friendly, but acceptable without uniforms (with jeans). The food tasted good, especially the fresh fish dishes, I had one (salmon steak with vegetables) and . The portions were sufficient. In summary, Istanbul Fish Restaurant offers good food in a cold atmosphere, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of service. I would rate it as a solid eatery, with some adjustments.

Super delicious! the fish soup was TOP

We accidentally found an excellent restaurant 🤩 and decided to eat fish soup - and were simply shocked by the excellent selection, low prices and great taste. Thanks a lot! If I'm ever in Frankfurt again, I'll definitely come here. I highly recommend it!

sehr gut bin früher zu alim geganngen aber seit dem ich diesen laden kenne nur noch İstanbul hier ist es viel besser! der salat hier ist viell beser bei alim gibts leider nur ein paar bläter und eine tomate lieblos! hier gibts auch die beste fischsuppe! Und hier hat man zum fisch eine auswahl von 3 beilage! pomes gemüse oder einen sehr gutten basmati reis! bei alim bekommt man nur pomes.

Mix plate cost €70 which wasn't worth it. Half was Sardinia, plus shrimp wasn't like the menu! Rings were like rubber. Soups were served without bread. The table was unclean and the restaurant was told several times "I'm coming soon". In the end we wanted a receipt that was not issued. Since the employee discussed that the system does not have a button for 4x people. This restaurant is a complete rip off.

Very good grilled sea bass. I can only recommend. The prices here are very reasonable. (Since I'm not a salad fan, it's missing from the photo) I'll be back.

I pointed it out to the owner of the shop in the restaurant Laufen äumen, but he said it was also known at the town hall in Frankfurt I wouldn't recommend the fish restaurants in Frankfurt to anyone. We were in the restaurant with three friends and ordered food and suddenly a mouse came out of the corner bench and ran to the Coca-Cola refrigerator and hid under the Coca-Cola refrigerator That was yesterday, August 27, 2023, around 8 p.m

I already wrote a review here, it was probably deleted, but I would like to write again. It's a very nice bistro, aesthetically nicely done. The food is just great for me, it's not greasy, I really like it roasted like this. I was just surprised by the impossibility of paying by card. I like fish soup again and again :)

Staff unfriendly, I'm not really sure if it's all fresh fish, I think a lot of it is frozen

I never recommend it, I ate it thinking how bad an anchovy could be, it was the mistake of my life, the salad and potatoes are just as bad.

Always my pleasure. It tastes very good and, above all, the portions are large enough and therefore inexpensive. Plus there is always octopus in stock :-). I love going to this maritime-themed restaurant for lunch.

Ordered a fish soup, Istanbul Teller (grill squid and shrimp), and water. The bread arrived first, dry, stale, flavorless. The waiter then forgot to bring the water, had to remind him after the main dish already arrived. He also totally forgot about the soup, which never arrived. The grill squid and shrimp were cooked in garlic oil without much flavor to them. The worst part is that both were not very fresh, especially the squid, which was a bit mushy. There are many better Turkish places on the street.

Inexpensive fish with simple side dishes and freshly prepared salad. Not everything comes from the grill, unfortunately there is a strong smell of fat - the potatoes in particular are being cooked. The service guys were overwhelmed on our evening, the man at the grill was calm and calm.

Delicious seafood dishes with fresh ingredients. But the smell of smoke from grilled fish indoors was too strong, and the smell of grilled fish lingered on my clothes after eating. Apart from this, the rest was pretty good.

If you want to enjoy a great grilled fish, this is the place to be. Staff was friendly and they portions generous. I recommend the potatoes as a side dish, because the vegetables were a bit dull.

Food was tasty, but service was very slow, there were 4 tables occupied with a total of 6 people, it took me 7 minutes to order and 10 minutes if we wanted to pay.

The fish was fried to death and only tasted bitter. And anyway, people, look at the toilet. If I had seen this before, I would never have eaten there. Bottom drawer.

I was looking for a quick light lunch. Istanbul Fisch Grill looked good. I ordered a grilled fish with some chips. Without my knowledge, it came with salad and bread; way too much food. The food was very good and the service was kind of nice and certainly welcoming. Well done to the team. I would be happy to return.

Für ein Fischrestaurant sind die Preise wirklich sehr günstig. Die Bratkartoffeln und Remoulade waren jetzt geschmackliches Highlight, aber dafür bekommt man eine wirklich große Portion frisch gegrillten Fisch. Die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls recht gemütlich. Alkohol wird nicht ausgeschenkt.

Excellent fish restaurant. Have had some of the best meals in Frankfurt here. Come here for a good meal that is absolutely value for money. Staff is very efficient (will only take orders, bring them to your table and clear), however cannot speak English (speaks good German and we assume Turkish and Arabic). Food is delicious, prices are very good value for the quality of food you'll get. Fish soup is excellent, very very highly recommended, and the seafood is done very well. I was impressed by their squid, as it was cooked very well, still very tender and soft. Dorade was also done well and the salmon was excellent. Rice is also very, very well done, very flavorful and cooked well (and this is coming from an Asian!). Service is adequate, especially if you cannot speak German or Turkish/Arabic. Pointing or ordering by the numbers gets everything across. However, we've seen and heard the staff speaking very friendly to some German and especially Turkish/Arabic guests, so your experience may vary. Overall, don't expect too friendly service, but the excellent food and value for money eclipses that greatly. Definitely a must-visit.

Preis Leistung Top, Habe dort gegrillte Dorade (dieser Fisch hat wenige aber große Gräten, was sehr gut zum auspullen ist) gegessen, war sehr lecker. Davor die Fischsuppe türkischer Art. Dieser und Alims Fischhaus, beide in Frankfurt, sind meine Top Fischrestaurant/ Imbiss in Deutschland. Fischsuppe empfehlen ich jedem, da es keinen extremen Fischgeschmack hat, wovon man eigentlich ausgeht. Ambiente typisch Imbiss Flair.

Einfaches Haus aber sehr guter Fisch

Sehr guter Fisch vom Grill. Immer sehr lecker. Gegrillte Forelle gegessen. Essen und Service sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich.

Sehr leckere und frische Fisch, wurde von einem Freund empfohlen und waren zu 6 da. Sehr gute Preis Qualität Verhältnis. Ich werde sie weiter empfehlen.

Eminönü balıkçısı gibi. Frankfurt'un göbeğinde balık ekmek yapan bir Türk ...Ekmek arası hamsi ya da çinekop tavsiye edilir.

Kleine Laden aber bereiten sehr leckere Fischspezialitäten vor. Fischsuppe schmeckt besonderes gut, nirgendwo in Frankfurt hat man so leckere Suppe. Ich esse hier immer gerne.

Service nicht so aufmerksam, viel zu warm, Remouladen Sauce sah nicht mehr frisch aus, Fisch war ok

Много блюд из рыбы. Мест немного, но внутри сразу жарят и там воняет, неприятно сидеть. А на улице 2 столика только. Еда вкусная. Суп от шефа мегавкусный.

Essen war lecker, Fisch schön knusprig und leicht gewürzt. Beim Backfisch könnte ruhig etwas mehr Fisch auf dem Teller sein war recht wenig. Dorade war super aber auch hier etwas mehr Beilage wäre zufriedenstellend. Service und Ambiente haben Imbiss Charakter. Würden dennoch wieder kommen.

Habe in Frankfurt nach einem Fisch Restaurant gesucht und auf dies gestoßen. Sind hingefahren und nach langen Parkplatz suche angekommen. Wir waren sehr überrascht und fanden etwa wie ein Imbiss vor, was wirklich auch nur Fisch gerischte anbietet. Haben uns als Vorspeise Fischsuppe und als Hauptspeise Dorade bestellt. Es hat alles super geschmeckt und kann es auch empfehlen. Preis ist gut gewesen. Bedienung hätte etwas besser sein können. Wir haben den Laden zufrieden verlassen.

Mancare tradiționale pescărești... Nu pot spune ca este cva woow... Cartofii sunt ARO SOSURI ARO DECI CALITATEA acestora nu e precym. Te aștepți... Iar despre peste ar fi loc de mai bine... Preturile sunt destul de ok!

Mut Abstand der Unverschämtheit Service, den ich je erlebt habe. Wir hatten Lachs bestellt. Dieser kam völlig verbrannt bei uns an. Als mein Mann seinen Teller zurück gegeben hatte, wurden wir vom offensichtlich unqualifizierten Kellner angegangen. Er bestand darauf, dass wir das Essen bezahlen. Uns wurde weder eine Alternative angeboten, noch sich freundlich für die Umstände entschuldigt. Im Gegenteil fing der Kellner noch an uns zu bedrohen. Wir riefen dann die Polizei. Wir können nur alle warnen, da nie wieder hin zu gehen.

Das fisch war nicht fertig gegrillt, das Service ist wirklich eine Frechheit.. Ich werde nie wieder dort essen

Preis stimmt, aber es war nicht so sauber (Boden hatte gefühlt eine Fettschicht..war rutschig) und das Essen etwas zu fettig. Hat aber nicht schlecht geschmeckt und war günstig.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker ind Preiswert. Die Mitarbeiter sind etwas distanziert aber das ist okay. Das Klo ist leider sehr unhygienisch.

Restaurante turco especializado en pescado, con una carta amplia, buenos precios y calidad correcta. Está situado a menos de cinco minutos de la estación central, en una zona donde abundan los restaurantes orientales. Su carta está compuesta íntegramente por pescados y moluscos, a unos precios muy razonables, y con fotos de todos los platos. Me hubiera gustado tomar una sopa de pescado, pero en ese momento no había, así que terminé pidiendo pulpo al grill, que venía acompañado por dos guarniciones en platos aparte, unas patatas con salsa de yoghourt exquisitas y una ensalada muy fresca y buena. Con dos bebidas (una coca-cola y un schwip schwap, curioso refresco mezcla de cola y naranja), la cuenta sumó unos modestos 18,90 €. La verdad es que comí muy bien; el pulpo estaba muy bueno, aunque algo diferente del que acostumbramos a comer en España. En cuanto a la atención, muy correcta y agradable. Por cierto, no sirve alcohol, solo agua y refrescos.

Ich bin immer gerne gekommen da die Fischgerichte super sind, auch die Beilagen sind top. Es war aber leider dass letzte mal dass ich diesen und ihre anderen Läden besuche(alims fisch) . Vor dem bezahlen habe ich den Kellner höflich darauf hingewiesen, dass in der Toilette das Licht defekt ist und es unhygienisch ist dass nur Toiletten Papier zum Hände abtrocknen vorhanden ist. Es wurde murrend zur Kenntnisse genommen.Als ich mit einem 100€ Schein bezahlen wurde ich in wüsten Ton angefahren dass dies nicht geht und ich gefälligst mit Karte zahlen solle. Da ich darauf hin stutzig wurde und die Rechnung 10.10€ kontrollierte fiel mir auf das der Betrag 9.80 lauten müsste. Ich gebe immer gerne Trinkgeld aber betrügen lasse ich mich nicht. Als ich den Chef verlangte, der 10 Minuten vorher in den hinteren Bereich der Küche gegangen war wurde mir mit den Worten "WENNN SIE SICH DASS ESSEN NICHT LEISTEN KÖNNEN, DANN KOMMEN SIE NICHT HIER HER" mein aufeinmal mein gewechseltes geld komplett zurück gegeben. Lieber Chef (ich kenne sie vom sehen) Ihre Angestellten betrügen die Kunden und Sie wegen ein paar Cent.

Ich war jetzt schön öfter dort und wurde nie enttäuscht, jedes Gericht war sehr lecker, in jeder Preisklasse. Der Fischdürüm ist zu empfehlen, wenn es einmal schnell gehen muss...

I have eaten here 3 times and every time the food has been excellent. Well prepared, efficiently served and inexpensive. I will definitely eat here again. This restaurant is located in a "colorful " area of town , very close to the train station. Homeless on the streets, drugs being sold and used a few blocks away. No fancy but very good.

I spied this restaurant selling grilled fish whilst strolling along Muenchener St behind my hotel and made a mental note that I will eat here one day. An evening stroll along the Main Kai ended up here and we agreed an early dinner would be appropriate. The counter display was attractive with rows of fish presented and the white and blue scheme of the restaurant is reminiscent of Cycladic communities in the Aegean sea. This is a seafood restaurant in the tradition of Istanbul so the menu is peppered with fare that would be more familiar in Istanbul like the fish sandwich. We however settled with something more general like the shrimp and calamari salad or Istanbul Teller and the seafood soup. Both were excellent. The shrimps were plump and the calamari nicely grilled and soft to chew on. The seafood soup was undeniably Turkish, with plenty of dill thrown in and large pieces of white fish. The main courses were the grilled salmon and grilled mackerel. Both were so simple yet tasted so good. The fish came with a choice of sides - boiled mixed vege, fried potato circles or rice. Portions were huge and we were struggling to clean the plates. All that for only €40.60. Not exactly cheap but that's €40 wisely spent.

Visited the place twice. Once for lunch and once for diner. Nice, clean, very affordable and walking from the central station. I had the Dorado fish grilled (you can select the fish and they will grill it in front of you) and the full meal was 8.9euros. The next day I had the seafood wrap which was equally good. The contents are absolutely fresh and prepared in front of you.

I came across this place randomly on my way back to the train station. It is very clean, fresh and tasty fish with a lots of variety to choose from. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff. Keep the good work!

Wirklich frischer Fisch wird vor deinen Augen direkt auf den Grill geschmissen und perfekt auf den Punkt serviert. Preislich sehr günstig. Fischsuppe muss man probieren. Lachssteack war 1a.
