Restaurant Dalmatia really surprised us in a positive way! Instead of the original 48 euros, we only had to pay 40 euros and even got a drink on the house - a really nice gesture that made the evening even more enjoyable. The boss was very friendly and accommodating, which made us feel very welcome. The food? A solid 10 out of 10! Fresh, tasty and typically Dalmatian – exactly what we were hoping for. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant with great food and great service, this is the place for you. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately closed due to retirement. Thank you for the many great years. Good middle-class restaurant. Always delicious and fresh. Schnitzels are freshly breaded. Big portions for little money. Steak with onions absolutely recommended. The schnitzel with onions is also delicious. This is also gratinated with cheese. A small schnitzel with fries costs just €11.50. There's really nothing you can say against that.

The room was super clean and spacious, we even had a couch in the double room, which is anything but a given. The price-performance ratio is right. The staff was super friendly and the payment process was super relaxed. Connections to buses and S-Bahn were very good. You could Within 15-20 minutes you can reach the Cologne main station and the cathedral in the city center. Due to its convenient location, it is very quiet and relaxed even at night. If we go to Cologne again, we would like to come back here.

“Tonci”, or “Domschänke”, yes, that used to be a top address for good, authentic, rich and cheap Croatian cuisine in Minden. Known beyond the city limits. Well, those days are probably over now that “Tonci” is now based in the Victoria Hotel. Not only that the spoke selection felt reduced by 2/3. No, prices have increased at the same rate as meat portions have shrunk. In return, inexpensive side dishes such as rice and frozen fries have become more common. In addition, the usual side salad was omitted, which must have been expensive. Where homemade hollandaise was once served, today bags of purchased mayo have to suffice. A no-go for the self-imposed high standards. The “Djuvec rice” tastes just as like a finished product as the “Ajvar”. If only the meat on the plate had been good, but the cook can't even manage that anymore. Which is also clear if, for example, you cut the pork fillet into 5mm thin slices and then cook them completely. No wonder everything becomes far dry and tastes like shoe sole. Roasted aromas? None, the flesh as pale as a Teutone on the first day of vacation in Mallorca. Almost like cooked. The beef didn't fare much better either. The minced meat was well fried, but unfortunately much too salty. Probably to boost (expensive) drink consumption, because soft drinks only come in 0.2 liter bottles and for an outrageous €3.40. Draft beer is a little cheaper. The service can certainly be rated as good, but it's still not enough of an incentive to ever return to this expensive imitation of the former cathedral tavern.

Were there on Saturday with 8 friends. Had a great goose dinner followed by baked apples. Rarely enjoyed such a tender leg of goose. Many thanks to the Daijel team for the great service and evening.

Unfortunately, the tenant suddenly stopped at short notice. The inventory has already been cleared out. I liked getting schnitzel with salad there. Was always very satisfied! Once again a traditional restaurant disappears from the scene and becomes, like I did during the renovation Place heard, replaced by an oriental restaurant. Too bad.
