I was very impressed with the service and food, and the price. I'm always happy to recommend.

We were there a few days ago, 4 adults, 1 teenager and 1 small child, and made a reservation a week in advance. We were welcomed nicely. After a short while the menus arrived and drinks were already taken. I had already chosen what I wanted to eat on the Internet the day before, well I looked at the menu again and lo and behold, the calibrated food wasn't on the menu at all (I was already a little pissed off) the menu on the Internet didn't match the menu at all Inn agree I then decided on the salmon. 2 times schnitzel with fried egg and fried potatoes, 1 time the stuffed steak, 1 steak with onions and 1 Maya the Bee In the meantime, while we were waiting, I asked myself why no table could be reserved at 6:30 p.m. but at 6 p.m. on the way to the salad buffet I saw that there was another room that was well filled, the guests were almost finished with their food and the service staff We were clearing up, well where we were sitting there were still 3 tables free and another family came at half past seven, it was all strange but whatever The food came, it looked good, the taste of the salmon was delicious, the broccoli only touched the hot water briefly. I then only ate the heads, the salmon was no longer edible for me after 1/4 piece. Yes, Greten can happen, but I have never had so much salmon in one piece of salmon. I had finished the coffee completely and was no longer hungry The fried potatoes were very ready, the schnitzels were well done I ate all of the salad from the salad bar and the dressing was delicious too We don't know if we should try again, we're thinking. We were back in the restaurant after a long absence and ordered three different dishes - unfortunately all three were extremely fatty and very salty this time. The service, as always, was very positive and friendly. An extreme negative point was the bald employee who smoked behind the counter several times in our presence and served drinks and dishes WITHOUT washing his hands... a total no-go. We won't be coming back - sorry

Schneppendahl House, An older rustic restaurant. The service staff are usually very courteous and guest-oriented. The food tastes great, delicious rump steak, grilled plate or fish, we tested it well and so far everything was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was also good. You can still eat delicious food there without becoming poor 😉

Stopped by by chance after a day at the open-air museum. In addition to the friendly welcome and the quick and courteous service, you can enjoy the delicious food here in a relaxed atmosphere. The small cross-section of the menu was worth it in all areas. Fish, civapcici and schnitzel were served with side dishes in sufficient portions. The salad buffet is fresh, crunchy and offers 2 dressings. Firstly, cocktail and yoghurt. A chance hit that was worth it, and a return cannot be ruled out. Thank you for food and drink.

There were 20 people in the Schneppendahl house after a funeral. The food is okay, unfortunately after the first drink order and food order we weren't paid much attention to, so I had to call the restaurant so that a waiter could come to our room to take further drink orders. The service was friendly, but unfortunately understaffed.

Good Croatian restaurant with old German flair. The Croatian restaurant, which looks like it runs in an old German inn, has enough space. This is particularly recommended for funerals, birthdays, etc. with large group sizes. The food is hearty, spicy and very meat-heavy, as befits a Balkan restaurant. We had a meat plate and a fish plate with some side dishes for our group. The meat was well prepared, the side dishes were cooked to perfection and the salad bar and free soup were great. If a little modern flair comes in here, it's worth 5 solid points.

Unfortunately it was very bad today. The meat was still half raw and the rice was too salty. Everything took a long time, whether it was the drinks or the food. We won't eat there anymore.

The main course automatically came with a starter soup, a selection from the salad buffet and ice cream for dessert! The salad buffet was small but nice. The main courses (grilled plate, Krüstchen and Münsterland plate) were very tasty across the board, and the fries were very good. Large portions are also suitable for “full guys” and special requests were happy to be fulfilled. Recommended, but definitely make a reservation!

Wir haben am 19.09.2023 unseren 7. Hochzeitstag hier in einem gemütlichen Ambiente zu zweit gefeiert und waren sowohl vom Essen als auch dem Service maximal begeistert, weshalb einige Rezessionen hier für uns absolut nicht nachvollziehbar sind. Zwei Kellner waren im Einsatz. Einer von beiden war sehr sympathisch und hatte einige nette und teils lustige Worte parat, die für eine gute Stimmung sorgten. Er wünschte uns z. B. viel Spaß beim Schlecken, als er uns ein Eis zum Dessert servierte. Der zweite Kellner war ein wenig schlecht drauf, wie es schien (einen schlechten Tag kann jede/r mal haben) und deckte den Tisch etwas fahrig ein. Ebenso landeten die Teller und Gläser nicht unbedingt dort, wo man sie erwartet hätte, sondern standen eher am Tischrand 😉🙃 Das Essen war seeeehr gut. Die Preis/Leistung war sehr gut und die Qualität sowie der Geschmack des Essens hätten kaum besser sein können. Gut abgeschmeckt, perfekt gebraten und die Portionen waren sehr groß. Die Preise haben uns positiv überrascht! Sogar, als die Technik (Kartenzahlung funktionierte nicht, wegen technischer Probleme vom WLAN-Provider, die den ganzen Tag schon sporadisch auftraten) blieben alle ganz entspannt. Man versuchte uns zu helfen, weil wir kein Bargeld dabei hatten und suchte zusammen mit uns eine Lösung. Wir suchten gemeinsam nach einem Geldautomaten in der Nähe, als dann das Kartenlesegerät doch mitarbeiten wollte. Es durfte sich nur nicht zu weit vom Hotspot entfernen und ich musste ein wenig die Beine in die Hand nehmen, um den "hellen" Moment der Technik nicht zu verpassen 🤭 Als ich abends anrief, um einen Tisch für zwei zu reservieren, war die Begrüßung ausbaufähig. Ein einfaches "Hallo" war alles, zwar freundlich, jedoch nicht hilfreich, weil man unsicher wird, ob man sich nicht ggf. verwählt haben könnte. So fühlt man sich genötigt nachzufragen, ob man dort gelandet ist, wo man landen möchte. Aber alles halb so wild. Wir können das Restaurant mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und werden sehr gerne wieder kommen. Der nächste Besuch mit einer unserer Freundinnen ist schon angedacht. EINFACH TOP!!! Das Restaurant kann man definitiv empfehlen. Zum einen ist die Bedieung super freundlich und man bekommt sein bestellten Essen auch sehr schnell. Zum anderen ist das Essen super lecker. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl in der Speisekarte, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist. Das Salatbuffet, welches zu jedem Gericht dazugehört, ist auch sehr frisch und wird ständig nachgefüllt. Die Preise sind für ein Gericht vollkommen okay, sodass man das Restaurant sehr gut weiterempfehlen kann.

Schon seit Jahren mein Lieblingsrestaurant, ich bin hier noch nie enttäuscht worden. Essen immer top, Service freundlich und erstklassig.

Wir sind jedes Jahr zu Weihnachten da. Geschmacklich war es super nur die Portionen werden immer weniger und das Preis-Verhältnis wird immer teurer. Dann fehlt das Brot mit der Butter am Anfang und der Schnaps zum schluss.Das Ambiente könnte auch Mal wieder modernisiert werden. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr nicht wieder
