We went there for dinner again today. As always, it was delicious, with very good and attentive service. Great!

It's a tradition for us to go out to dinner with the kids on the last day of summer vacation. Today, there were four adults and three children, and after a long search for somewhere to go, we settled on Haus Schneppendahl. Honestly, we haven't experienced such friendly staff in a long time, and the food was also excellent. Many small touches from the staff also made the evening enjoyable. It may not be ultra-modern, but that was completely irrelevant when the food was so great. We'll definitely be back 🥰 Thank you so much 🙏

Phenomenal! You won't find beautiful modern decor here – instead, you'll find a typical German bar in the German style of our grandparents' times. The food was so good it was hard to leave, and the service was excellent. I would definitely come back 🙏🏼

Haus Schneppendahl isn't a "modern" restaurant, but it's cozy, homey, and sociable... an absolute top recommendation! The food has always been delicious, the portions generous, and the salad bar has a good selection, fresh and juicy. The service has also always been very pleasant and friendly, and requests for changes to the side dishes have always been accommodated. If you're looking for a truly delicious meal in Hagen, Haus Schneppendahl is a great place to go!

We were here on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation in advance because we knew it would be busy. The service was really friendly. We all got a warm Julischka to start, which was very nice. The food was really delicious and the portions were plentiful. We also finished with a warm Julischka to finish. We'd be happy to come back.

The food is absolutely top-notch. Very tasty and highly recommended. Full stars for that! A huge drawback, and therefore only 2 stars: Unfortunately, it is NOT possible to pay with current bank payment methods. The outdated EC card payment method has been obsolete at banks for three years. Acceptance of debit/credit cards, which have only been issued by banks for the past three years, is simply a must these days and should be introduced.

Ancient, ugly restaurant with a menu to match. Essentially only for meat eaters with no taste. Tablecloth with grease stains and crumbs. A completely disgusting old brown carpet. Furniture probably from the 1960s? Got an allergy. Only two unimaginative vegetarian dishes, for example, buttered vegetables with rice, which I can make myself at home. No vegan dishes. I chose the asparagus dish. Eating asparagus is something special for me, but the restaurant managed to make the asparagus tasteless, boiled to a pulp and served with a totally greasy sauce full of cheese. Anyone who's yearning for a heart attack is in good hands here. The only healthy thing was the lemon in my drink, which I didn't order (allergy). It's not fashionable to add things that customers might not tolerate. Creating flavor with fat and salt to hide the fact that you can't cook/season... no words. The men were served as soon as or even before their drinks were finished; I had to make myself known. Never again. I only stayed because I didn't want to upset my friends. I immediately put my clothes in the laundry afterward.

Today was our first time at Haus Schneppendahl, and we highly recommend it. The service was 10/10, very friendly and attentive. Even the little ones are looked after and surprised. The food was beautifully presented and the taste was hard to beat. We'd love to come back!

A lovely rustic but cozy atmosphere with excellent food, selection, and staff. I've been a guest for years and always leave full and happy. Parking is rather limited, but you should still be able to find a spot on the side streets.

Absolutely great, top quality food at fair prices. We had the grill plate, the “house style” pot with fried potatoes and the Münsterland plate. Incredibly delicious! You can get a bowl from the salad buffet with every dish. It's small, but really fresh, sufficient and delicious! The service staff plays in the Champions League! Has a sense of humor, is very attentive and has an eye for the little guests. All in all, an absolute top recommendation. We felt super comfortable!! There were some comments regarding the rustic decor. I really like that kind of thing! I think it still has the charm of back then. And it is well maintained and clean. Simply cozy. Finally: try the cucumber spritzer. Thank me later!

I've been going there with my family since I was a little fart and I still love it every time I go. The service is courteous and very friendly. Children are no problem there either. They also get their aperitif at the beginning and a little something at the end. The food is perfect every time and individual requests are catered for without any problems. We were there a few days ago, 4 adults, 1 teenager and 1 small child, and made a reservation a week in advance. We were welcomed nicely. After a short while the menus arrived and drinks were already taken. I had already chosen what I wanted to eat on the Internet the day before, well I looked at the menu again and lo and behold, the calibrated food wasn't on the menu at all (I was already a little pissed off) the menu on the Internet didn't match the menu at all Inn agree I then decided on the salmon. 2 times schnitzel with fried egg and fried potatoes, 1 time the stuffed steak, 1 steak with onions and 1 Maya the Bee In the meantime, while we were waiting, I asked myself why no table could be reserved at 6:30 p.m. but at 6 p.m. on the way to the salad buffet I saw that there was another room that was well filled, the guests were almost finished with their food and the service staff We were clearing up, well where we were sitting there were still 3 tables free and another family came at half past seven, it was all strange but whatever The food came, it looked good, the taste of the salmon was delicious, the broccoli only touched the hot water briefly. I then only ate the heads, the salmon was no longer edible for me after 1/4 piece. Yes, Greten can happen, but I have never had so much salmon in one piece of salmon. I had finished the coffee completely and was no longer hungry The fried potatoes were very ready, the schnitzels were well done I ate all of the salad from the salad bar and the dressing was delicious too We don't know if we should try again, we're thinking. We were back in the restaurant after a long absence and ordered three different dishes - unfortunately all three were extremely fatty and very salty this time. The service, as always, was very positive and friendly. An extreme negative point was the bald employee who smoked behind the counter several times in our presence and served drinks and dishes WITHOUT washing his hands... a total no-go. We won't be coming back - sorry

Schneppendahl House, An older rustic restaurant. The service staff are usually very courteous and guest-oriented. The food tastes great, delicious rump steak, grilled plate or fish, we tested it well and so far everything was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was also good. You can still eat delicious food there without becoming poor 😉

Stopped by by chance after a day at the open-air museum. In addition to the friendly welcome and the quick and courteous service, you can enjoy the delicious food here in a relaxed atmosphere. The small cross-section of the menu was worth it in all areas. Fish, civapcici and schnitzel were served with side dishes in sufficient portions. The salad buffet is fresh, crunchy and offers 2 dressings. Firstly, cocktail and yoghurt. A chance hit that was worth it, and a return cannot be ruled out. Thank you for food and drink.

There were 20 people in the Schneppendahl house after a funeral. The food is okay, unfortunately after the first drink order and food order we weren't paid much attention to, so I had to call the restaurant so that a waiter could come to our room to take further drink orders. The service was friendly, but unfortunately understaffed.

Good Croatian restaurant with old German flair. The Croatian restaurant, which looks like it runs in an old German inn, has enough space. This is particularly recommended for funerals, birthdays, etc. with large group sizes. The food is hearty, spicy and very meat-heavy, as befits a Balkan restaurant. We had a meat plate and a fish plate with some side dishes for our group. The meat was well prepared, the side dishes were cooked to perfection and the salad bar and free soup were great. If a little modern flair comes in here, it's worth 5 solid points.
