The service doesn't come across as very friendly.

We were at the Split Restaurant with 19 people for our civil wedding, and it was simply wonderful! The food was outstanding – lovingly prepared and delicious! The service was very attentive and warm, making our special day even more special. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening!

Our regular restaurant for years. Whether it's a family gathering of 10 or a meal for two, the first stop for a delicious lunch is always "Split." The food is incredibly delicious, and the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. The owner and staff are super friendly. Everyone is very customer-oriented. The prices are top-notch.

Fantastic restaurant. Owner was very friendly and food and drink were tasty. Meat were a tad bit more over cooked than what I usually like but still great. Wonderful portions. Finally - the brandy is home made per owner and tasted super good.

I only knew it from driving past...a shame, really! Good food...a beer garden...a small playground...parking in front of the door...what more could you want...oh yeah...good prices...!!! I'd love to come back.

The food was truly delicious: I had a steak, my husband had the mixed grill – both were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. Our son had a lovingly prepared children's plate in a Mickey Mouse design – it was so cute, and he loved it. The prices were also absolutely fair – the whole package is just right here. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the restaurant!

Unprofessional and disappointing – traveled especially for the restaurant and was turned away. We checked the opening hours online in advance – according to the website, the restaurant should be open. We also tried by phone, but no one was available. Nevertheless, we drove there – not exactly around the corner. When we got there, we were simply turned away with the terse comment that they were closing "for private reasons." No mention of the changed opening hours, no message on the phone, no apology – instead, we were sent on our way with a "Why don't you go to the Schützenheide" and a bottle of wine. We declined the wine. For a restaurant that wants to offer guests a pleasant experience, this is an absolute no-go. Anyone who seriously wants to build customer loyalty should at least value reliable communication and accessibility.

After a long walk, I spontaneously ended up at Split – actually just for a drink... well, in the end, I had a hot drink, a cold drink, and a heavenly dessert of pancakes and ice cream 😄 The service was super friendly and attentive – you immediately feel at home. The menu definitely leaves you wanting more, with a huge selection, and the portions at the neighboring tables looked simply amazing. I'll definitely be back – next time with the whole family for dinner! Highly recommended!

Essen naja , Championssosse sah aus wie aus der Tüte und die Champion hat man gesucht (ganze zwei Stücke) Der junge Mann war freundlich,aber die Dame sehr unfreundlich. Wir hatten kein Tisch bestellt und vielleicht eine halbe Stunde Zeit zum Essen gehabt und wollten wieder gehen . Durften dann doch bleiben . Haben aber dann zu spüren bekommen das wir länger geblieben sind . Wir nie wieder . Hab schon besser gegessen 😔 Gäste die nach uns gekommen sind hatten ihr essen schneller als meine Freundin ihr Getränke 🫣

The food was underseasoned. The beer had too little foam. The salad was good on the top layer. The bottom layer had old leaves. The service was very friendly.

We ordered two dishes for pickup today – no big deal. My pork skewers had so much fat they were inedible. The portion size also left a lot to be desired. What was supposed to be a 20-minute pickup wait turned into 40. The bottom line is we got two dishes for around €40. The menu changes monthly as far as price goes. I expect a lot. When I go to nearby restaurants with the same atmosphere (or maybe even better (p****don)), I get the same price plus drinks and starter, but the taste is much better. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it here, but I would recommend it elsewhere even more!

We have been visiting for years, during our stays in NRW, this restaurant, We appreciate the consistently good quality of the food and drinks on offer. The prices are also moderate.

This restaurant is hidden gem. Not only they have AMAZING food but also excellent customer service,beautiful environment and perfect for families with children, little playground is big plus. Can’t wait to visit again. They are able to speak many languages. If you have a chance to stop by you must do.

Unfortunately there was only one holiday menu on Easter Sunday, veal cordon bleu was made from aged beef, the lamb chops were fried too black, otherwise there was unfortunately only one fish dish and zero vegetarian main courses. Service was friendly, but there were tables that were filled later but were served earlier. Wouldn't go there anymore.

I celebrated my 60th birthday there with my family and friends and we ordered a champagne reception, beef soup as a starter, platters of beef, pork and turkey steaks, French fries, croquettes, vegetables, salad and, for dessert, vanilla ice cream with hot cherries. The tables were beautifully set in a separate area, all the food and drinks were, according to the feedback from my guests and in my opinion, particularly tasty and the service was absolutely attentive and very accommodating. All my guests and I felt very comfortable there and really enjoyed the birthday party. Many thanks to the Split Restaurant team!!!!

The Split restaurant seems quite inconspicuous at first glance, but once you drive into the parking lot you'll be amazed. A beautiful beer garden where it's fun to linger. In the restaurant itself, everything is stylishly furnished. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The boss himself takes care of his guests, that's how it has to be. The food...a dream, it was incredibly tasty, from the salad to the main course, just great. This restaurant deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ without any deductions. We can only recommend it.

Visited 04/05/25, Saturday, about 1:30 p.m. Conclusion in advance: recommended. 1x schnitzel, 2x ladies toast, 1x mixed grill plate. Plus drinks (shandy and cola), plus starter soup and a side salad. The dishes: Schnitzel, ladies' toast and the additions were OK: 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Unfortunately, the meat on the mixed grill plate was overcooked and therefore quite dry and a bit tough. (Therefore only 3 stars for grill mix 🌟 🌟 🌟). Taste OK. Portion sizes quite large. Good. Prices: Are common, rather in the middle range, compared to other restaurants. (NOTE: There is a lunch menu from Monday to Friday. The price-performance ratio is very good here). Operation: Very friendly, quick. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Ambience: Very clean restaurant. Also toilets 1A. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Parking: Right behind the house.

We were invited to the Split restaurant yesterday for my birthday. The menu offered a large selection, but at first I thought we were in a German home-style restaurant. The food was tasty and the price was okay. Unfortunately, the waitresses are not coordinated and so they are at the table more often than necessary. Finally we were brought the bill, which we wanted to pay by card. Unfortunately, the waitress had brought a receipt for cash payment. She didn't want to comply with the request to pay by card. Thank God we had enough cash with us.

The restaurant is awesome! Ambience, excellently designed. Every table was set with candles and napkins as well as cotton tablecloths!!! The food: an absolute dream. “We” indulged ourselves with the entire menu. I was able to experience a “unique taste explosion”. Super freshly prepared and absolutely delicious and wholesome. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last time. The staff, the service experienced perfection. My impression: absolutely recommended!

Once again I was at a new restaurant for a birthday party. This time it was the split. It doesn't seem that big from the main street, but it actually has plenty of space for guests. At the back you can sit outside very nicely, great. We were greeted very friendly and the table was reserved. The selection on the menu is very plentiful. There's probably something for everyone. I really enjoyed it!! What I saw on the others' plates looked no less delicious :-). I was really happy again! Very friendly staff, the boss tops everything :-) and it was quick, even though the restaurant was very busy. The price is also really okay, not too expensive. We will definitely go to the split more often now. I can recommend the restaurant to all of you! Bye Michael
