Restaurant International Oberhausen in Oberhausen

Wir waren für das Wochenende in Oberhausen ( kleiner Familienausflug) und haben zufällig das Restaurant entdeckt. Am Freitag hatten wir keine Reservierung, alle Tische waren reserviert, wir haben trotzdem einen Tisch für 1,5 Stunden bekommen. Wir haben einmal Fisch- und Fleischgerichte bestellt: das war einfach lecker, der beste Fisch den ich je gegessen habe. Wir haben gleich für den nächsten Tag einen Tisch reserviert: Geschmack war wieder voll dabei. Unsere Kleine (3) isst nicht so viel, alle ( der Inhaber, Kellner, der Typ am Empfang) haben sich bemüht ihr was anzubieten. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

I'm just extremely excited. Went there relatively spontaneously with 30 people. Had a very good, tasty and nice meal. The people there are all very friendly. And all of this for a very fair price. I can warmly recommend it to everyone.

Honestly, the best restaurant I've been to so far. We came with a larger group and got a starter and dessert on the house. Great prices, great food and great service👌

Food was ok in terms of price-performance. The staff was too pushy for me. I still had my jacket on when I ordered a drink and when I had half a glass I asked for the next one. I don't like it that way.

A very cozy restaurant with a feel-good factor and great food. We tried everything from soups to the wedding platter for 2 to the Palacinke. Everything was super tasty and the portions were more than generous. All the employees were really friendly and the service was very attentive. We will definitely come back next time we visit Oberhausen.

It was a lovely evening at the bowling alley. The food was OK, we were with several people, it came quickly, it was hot but nothing special. We didn't expect that, but what was important to us was that we got a good, solid meal in a nice atmosphere combined with sporting entertainment. The price-performance ratio was satisfactory. Even small children and vegans had the right food so that everyone was happy and satisfied at the end. The 3 stars for the food are because some steaks were not cooked to perfection.

The food was delicious, just home cooking. Fried potatoes sometimes a bit greasy. On Sundays with beef soup as a starter. Difficult for vegans.

I love the food at International, the portions are generous and taste very good. We eat there very often with the family. 1 star deducted for service because miscommunication occurs every now and then. Last time, the person in charge of our table threw away my food even though he was supposed to pack it; over half of it was still on the plate. He also simply removed the olive starters from the table because the bread was already empty? Otherwise I can't complain.

We ordered a “wedding platter” for 2 people to take away, the food was delivered super hot after 20 minutes and was enough for 4 people.

Sehr leckere kroatische Küche, große Portionen, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Vor dem Hauptgericht gab's eine leckere Suppe und mit der Rechnung kam ein Likör. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben hier und genossen das Essen sehr. Sehr freundlicher Service. Schöne Außenterrasse. Wir können dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen

We chose this restaurant after an event and are not from Oberhausen. Therefore the selection was random. Balkan cuisine is not trendy in two of the countless Hamburg shops, but I can recommend a visit all the more. The service was great and that's why I would come back.

Unfortunately, the food was cold and the pork skewers were dry, the fries weren't crispy, the rest was best with the minced meat pieces. We ordered a double pear liqueur. Much later we were asked if we would like another small liqueur, we thought it was on the house - not unusual for other Croatians "We got two doubles, we thought, well, that's good, but the best thing was then the bill came. They calculated two doubles correctly and gave you two doubles as well as four small liqueurs that we hadn't ordered and were therefore 2 euros more expensive. Unfortunately, I saw it too late The man had already paid, the boss was very nice, unfortunately we had him as a waitress, the others seemed...due to the wind and unfocused... at the neighboring table things were also going haywire and soup with meat was being served, even though two had said so beforehand They are vegetarians...we won't visit this restaurant again...don't understand the good review

The service is awesome 🔨 We received attentive and friendly service. As a starter there was asparagus soup, which was very tasty and filled with lots of ingredients. We had goulash with noodles (meat was very tender) and a mixed grill plate 😋. For dessert there was ice cream with cream. The International Restaurant is absolutely recommended! Looking forward to the next visit.

The restaurant was a chance find because we are not local and the find was worth it 👍 Very nice service, very good food and the atmosphere is not the most modern but it is cozy ☺️ If we end up in Oberhausen again we will definitely be guests there again 👍🙃

Everything ok so far. Unfortunately, sitting outside is only possible on the street.

Very nice staff. We previously went bowling in the same house and were served by a waiter every 5 minutes. It was very pleasant. Meanwhile we ordered food and were able to go straight from bowling to eating without waiting. The food, which was all different grill dishes, was very tasty. The restaurant was very clean and organized.

Were there again today. We were thrilled as always. The food as well as the staff and ambience were unique. We felt very comfortable and had a fantastic evening. Thank you and see you next time.

2 were invited to the international. Nothing special. Meat dry. Supplements sparse. Vegetables should only be thawed/warmed and placed on the plate. I find the glowing reviews here suspicious And before I get the answer that I can't find the grill plate for that price anywhere else... Korali does it a lot better for about 11 euros..

Have been there very often. Again this evening. This time we weren't as satisfied as usual. The baked potato was far too soft and the salad was very vinegary. It felt like the chef had been changed. Junior boss also didn't offer an alternative for the overcooked potato. These colorful decorations on the plates may look nice, but the food takes away from the taste (these days probably beetroot). It's a shame. Service was very friendly. Hopefully next time everything will be the same.

Today again a restaurant from the voucher book Mülheim Oberhausen 😊 we have been here several times, but always with large groups. But today we were once again served and cooked for excellently👍🏻 I had asparagus soup and asparagus, smoked salmon with parmesan gratin, boiled potatoes and hollandaise. Menne had prawns in lots of garlic sauce😅 and a grill plate (111). It definitely wasn't our last visit, it's always so delicious here!!!

Das International WAR einmal mein Stammlokal. im letzten Jahr feierten wir dort sogar unsere Hochzeit. Essen, Service und Gastfreundschaft waren damals perfekt. Doch ein gutes Jahr später sieht die Situation anders aus. Zwischenzeitlich hatten wir ein mehrfach gegessenes scharfes Gericht, welches aber plötzlich nicht mehr aus Hackfleisch bestand - sondern mit einem klein geschnittenen Schnitzel zubereitet war. Das sah damals stark nach "Recycling" aus. Dann im September der nächste Besuch. Wir entschieden uns beide für Steaks. Nach einer ordentlichen Vorspeisen-Platte dann die Enttäuschung: zunächst war mein Salat-Wunsch "ohne Mais bitte" untergegangen. Wir hatten beide Steaks bestellt, eins in Medium, eins Englisch. Beide waren mehr als Well-Done. Was auch der Kellner mit einem betroffenen Gesicht bestätigte. Es folgte eine unnötige Diskussion. Da wir beide schon davon gegessen hatten und es schon spät war, verzichteten wir auf eine "Neuproduktion". Da die Rechnung dreistellig war, hätte ich wenigstens für den Ärger einen "Julitschka" aufs Haus erwartet. Nichts dergleichen. Auch machte der Kellner nach der berechtigten Beschwerde einen großen Bogen um unseren Tisch. "Nächster Besuch - nächstes Jahr" bemerkte meine Frau dann treffend.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal at the International restaurant! The fish plate was superbly delicious and generous, and it came with a really fresh salad. We also tried the half-half grill place; the meats were tasty though the fries were just decent. The meal included a complimentary appetizer and was topped off with free sparkling wine, adding a special touch. The waiters were exceptionally friendly, enhancing our experience. Highly recommend for a wonderful taste of Croatian hospitality!

Reserved weeks ago for 16-17 people; When we arrived, our places were filled with 12 people! After waiting for a long time and standing there stupidly, we should then go to the bowling alley. Sorry, didn't fit at all and was unreasonable! We were then very disappointed and went further to the “Uerige”!

Where do I begin ? In 1997 I moved across the street to Nohlstrasse. New in Oberhausen and without annex. I started new at the Centro and that's why I moved there. That was my first lunch there. Martin, the manager of the restaurant, brought me the food himself. Today, I still live in Oberhausen, but no longer across the street. Nevertheless, I still go there often and what can I say... No matter when I or we went there, the place was always well attended. No wonder ! Great food, nice attentive service. Price/performance very, very good! Super clean on top of that! So no matter whether it's lunch, dinner or a celebration... you'll always be thrilled, deliciously full and not ripped off! Oh yes... bowling is also possible. So...for me it's the "best" in the city or in the entire surrounding area! Greetings 🍀 and stay healthy!

For the first time, my friend and I were delighted with the service, the food, the ambience and the cleanliness. The menu is full of a variety of food. The owner of the restaurant, Martin, is an open and kind person, open to conversation, as is the staff, especially the employee of the restaurant, Drago. Really great restaurant that we ended up in by chance on a Saturday lunchtime in the spring of 24. Very tasty food, a great selection of dishes, classic service, very nice and professional! wow, this was such pleasant surprise!! consider this 4.5 stars quite big, yet cozy german/croatian restaurant. first we noticed the welcoming, very professional and helpful service. then we got shocked by very tasty chicken soup, that tasted exactly like my grandma's. then i had some selection of grilled meats, very tasty, my wife enjoyed some grilled fished and kids were very happy with their schnitzels. even the side dishes were great. and cheery on the top of the hospitality was some nice aperitif when we asked for the bill. btw the prices are very reasonable for the great food you get. if i ever end up in Oberhausen again, i will definitely come back to this restaurant
