I really liked the restaurant! Large, spacious with huge windows and good music. The food is also amazing - Dorado and steak were tender. I highly recommend trying their grilled eggplant. Large selection of good wine. The place is definitely worth a visit! Thank you
Always delicious, always friendly, always fast. I can never complain; the pizza and pasta are always delivered warm and delicious. The herb butter is very good.
Tastiest Pizza Siciliana I can remember, served in a friendly and courteous manner. It's so nice to sit outside at the beginning of spring. This is how Italy must be in Nippes.
The food is very tasty. Every detail in the facility is chosen with a lot of love and the employees are very nice and positive. I can recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to eat authentic Italian food with a charming ambience. 10/10
We celebrated our wedding there on September 28th and are absolutely thrilled!
We can only recommend Ponte to anyone who wants to host a celebration.
We received great advice and support from Saranda from start to finish. No wish remained unfulfilled and the ambience and food were simply unique. Our guests were all very enthusiastic and Saranda and her team were super attentive and absolutely friendly. We would celebrate here again at any time!
Thanks to Saranda and team for this wonderful day!
I've never written a negative review before, but this time it's really no different. We have always been very satisfied with the pizzeria. But today's pizza is a real disgrace.
As soon as I opened the box I wondered why the edge was so unusually thick. Then when I was cutting I noticed that the dough in the middle was virtually non-existent. It was not even possible to cut the “pizza”. Neither with a knife nor with a pizza cutter. The dough tore every time I picked it up. I ate cardboard twice without any toppings because it completely fell down because there was way too much (some people might like that, but in this case it was mainly onions and mushrooms). After several nervous breakdowns, I gave up after 1/3 of the “pizza” and made myself a loaf of bread.
The worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Definitely the last time I ordered there.
Short spoiler: This was our first, but not the last, time in Taormina :)
My wife and I recently ate at Taormina for the first time and we were immediately impressed by the excellent ambience and the warm welcome. The restaurant was already busy on this Friday evening, which is why we were happy to have made a reservation by phone in advance.
At the same time, we were accompanied to our table by the friendly staff and didn't have to wait long for the menus. We order a glass of Prosecco in advance and the waiter presented us with the daily menu. From here we had the porcini mushroom soup and the burrata on tomato tartare as starters. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with the plentiful selection of vegetarian dishes. We enjoyed both excellently. Our waiter recommended us to drink the Buonora Etna from Sicily, which is made 100% from Carricante. A perfect companion for a spring evening. Mineral, fruity and acidic enough not to be lost next to aromatic dishes such as porcini mushroom soup.
For the main course, my wife had the fresh tagliatelle with truffle, parmesan and burrata and I had the tagliatelle with seafood.
The pasta was really al dente and the sauce was mixed into a fine cream. Both were a poem and portioned in exactly such a way that we were able to fill the last space in our spoiled stomachs with a delicious panna cotta. Although the dessert is actually not for the stomach, but for the ❤️. When asked, the bill was brought to us quickly and we were greeted just as friendly as we were received.
The bar was set really high that evening and we are really looking forward to the next visit :)
Thank you, dear team Taormina

Thanks to Enzo and the team
We came for the 5th time. So far we have always been very satisfied. You could use a little arrowing around the menu, as the pasta dishes are rather simple. But the taste is still great!
This time we had 2 very tasty starters (Vitello Tonnato) and prawns. I asked if I could get a half portion of Vitello as I'm pregnant and a starter + main is too much. Unfortunately that wasn't possible. For the main course there was a fish platter, which was really great, and pasta with half a lobster. The pasta was delicious. Unfortunately the lobster was almost empty. You could get a small fork out of one corner.
Shortly after I received the plate and took a closer look and found no more meat in the claws, pasta, etc., I pointed out to the waiter that the lobster was almost empty. He told me a little exuberantly that this was normal and that even in his country in Italy the lobsters sometimes have little meat. Of course that may be true, I don't want to deny it, but surely you shouldn't serve an empty lobster in a restaurant?! The waiter, who seemed a little annoyed and not really interested in happy guests, then offered to cancel the dish and let me choose something else or he would bring me a piece of salmon. Since my husband had already almost finished his fish, I decided on the salmon. I assumed the price would be adjusted to the equivalent price of pasta with salmon. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. So I ended up with probably the most expensive salmon I've ever had at 30 EUR. There was also no coffee or dessert as a small gift here. That's too bad. Even after carefully asking, I was only told that I had already received a piece of salmon.
I don't actually know the store. That's too bad.
Nonetheless, a great shop.
You can definitely work on the tiramisu, it could be better! But the coffee cream (semifreddo) is a poem.
We hope to have better luck with the food next time.
Still delicious food, very cozy atmosphere, both inside and outside and apart from this day, always great service!
