The food is always a delight, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. Very authentic and delicious; we love eating there or ordering takeaway often!

The food is tasty, but the portions are sometimes a joke. Main courses are sometimes the size of an appetizer, and all this at high prices.

We're always thrilled with the food. We come all the way from Marl because we can't find anything comparable here. I recommended the restaurant to a friend, who was immediately impressed and now recommends it to others! The food is always delicious, and the dishes are spot on. We look forward to every visit!

We ordered pizzas to go again today. We've usually been satisfied. The receptionist seemed completely overwhelmed when taking our order, and even three repeated orders for two pizzas didn't help. It's a shame. We spent the evening in the car because of the commute. A proper apology doesn't look like much, and blaming a colleague... speaks volumes about competence.

We had two pizzas (Parma and tuna), which were very, very good. The service was super friendly, and there was always someone nearby. We were completely satisfied and enjoyed a relaxing evening :)

We've eaten at La Cascina in Schermbeck several times and have been absolutely thrilled every time. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding – whether it's starters, pasta, main courses, or the truly delicious steaks. Everything is freshly prepared and served with love. We even come all the way from Duisburg to eat here because it's simply so good. For us, this is one of the best restaurants in the area – always worth a visit!

The food was delicious. Our granddaughter only eats spaghetti with a little red sauce (no meat, vegetables, or herbs), and it was neatly served on a plate. Even though we hadn't ordered real Italian food, the meat was tender and the vegetables fresh. The vegetables on one plate were forgotten, but after we mentioned it, a bowl of vegetables was quickly brought over. The staff were friendly, not just the staff but the other guests as well; there's a relaxed atmosphere.

Super tasty, super good, very friendly, good quality and very reasonably priced, I can only recommend it to everyone 😉

We were on our way home and spontaneously stopped here for lunch without a reservation. The restaurant was busy, but we were given a table in the winter garden despite the rain. Friendly and attentive service. We asked for fresh fish, and they recommended tuna, sea bass, and sea bream. Both the sea bass and the sea bream were served whole; the waiter removed the bones and served us the fillets. They were cooked to perfection. We also had spaghetti with pepperoni and garlic and salad. The wine recommendation was also good. We enjoyed everything.

Unfortunately, the pizzas we ordered were very dry and had very few toppings. Despite repeated inquiries and providing the pickup number, the order was not found. The wait was 25 minutes past the scheduled time. Where the three pizzas came from at once, I have no idea.

We ate here with the family on Easter Monday. Not only were the pasta and pizza excellent, but especially the friendly, unobtrusive and courteous staff made our visit here very pleasant. Great, authentic restaurant 👍

We came for the 5th time. So far we have always been very satisfied. You could use a little arrowing around the menu, as the pasta dishes are rather simple. But the taste is still great! This time we had 2 very tasty starters (Vitello Tonnato) and prawns. I asked if I could get a half portion of Vitello as I'm pregnant and a starter + main is too much. Unfortunately that wasn't possible. For the main course there was a fish platter, which was really great, and pasta with half a lobster. The pasta was delicious. Unfortunately the lobster was almost empty. You could get a small fork out of one corner. Shortly after I received the plate and took a closer look and found no more meat in the claws, pasta, etc., I pointed out to the waiter that the lobster was almost empty. He told me a little exuberantly that this was normal and that even in his country in Italy the lobsters sometimes have little meat. Of course that may be true, I don't want to deny it, but surely you shouldn't serve an empty lobster in a restaurant?! The waiter, who seemed a little annoyed and not really interested in happy guests, then offered to cancel the dish and let me choose something else or he would bring me a piece of salmon. Since my husband had already almost finished his fish, I decided on the salmon. I assumed the price would be adjusted to the equivalent price of pasta with salmon. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. So I ended up with probably the most expensive salmon I've ever had at 30 EUR. There was also no coffee or dessert as a small gift here. That's too bad. Even after carefully asking, I was only told that I had already received a piece of salmon. I don't actually know the store. That's too bad. Nonetheless, a great shop. You can definitely work on the tiramisu, it could be better! But the coffee cream (semifreddo) is a poem. We hope to have better luck with the food next time. Still delicious food, very cozy atmosphere, both inside and outside and apart from this day, always great service!

This is the second time I've been to the Italian restaurant La Cascina and I'm thrilled every time. The food was consistently delicious and the service was also impressive. As a starter we had toasted bread with herb butter and black olives - a successful start. I ordered tagliatelle myself, while my companions opted for pizza and gnocchi with truffles. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious. The service was always attentive, but never intrusive. When it came to drinks, people always politely asked if they wanted anything else. At the end there was even a schnapps on the house. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. I can definitely recommend La Cascina and am already looking forward to my next visit!

This was my first visit to a restaurant where I had to look at the clock because we were told our table was reserved for us for 2 hours. Then the next guests arrive. Apparently this depends on the number of guests who have booked the table. I assume that the table of 15 people had unlimited use. Too bad

The food was great and the service was very friendly.

Of three pasta dishes, one was cold and two were lukewarm. Portions far too small for the price and the taste was disappointing. My comment when paying that the food was cold was not followed by a word of regret or apology, but only an accusation that I should have said that straight away (which I didn't do due to time constraints and out of consideration for the people accompanying me). Once and never again.

Authentic Italian with delicious pizzas. The noodles were rather unconvincing. We had made reservations for 16 people several days before. On the morning of the day in question I was asked by phone whether the reservation was still standing. Understandable to me since they have to take into account their limited seating. The restaurant is nice and cozy and actually nicely decorated, but the seating is relatively tight. The staff was consistently very friendly and accommodating. My pizza came sliced, was very tasty and had enough toppings. The dough met my taste exactly. The lasagna from the man next to me was a bit small but also tasted good. The amount of pasta varied greatly depending on the plate, even if it was the same dish. It was nicely served. My wife had the Tagliatelle al Forno, which unfortunately didn't taste convincing. Rather boring and with just three crabs not very full. The pasta from the cheese wheel is sadly just for show and is stirred with added cheese in an empty cheese shell. It's a real shame actually. There are plenty of free parking spaces right in front of the door. The ambience is a matter of taste but, as already mentioned above, it was okay. Speaks a.e. Wine lovers. The prices of the dishes were proportionate. Conclusion: I would eat the pizza again but I've had much better pasta at the Italian restaurant.

We went to this restaurant for the first time today with friends. We each had a starter, two shared courses (pizza and mussels), a main course and a dessert. There is nothing wrong with any of the dishes. With Vitello Tonnato I don't like it when the beautiful, good meat is completely buried under the Tonnato and the white wine stock in the Mischeln was a bit too salty for me. But that's really complaining at a high level. Pizza dough was super tasty. The tomato sauce with the pasta was also fantastic and the panna cotta was really fantastic. Mega creamy, light, delicious and so wonderfully lemony. The red berries weren't needed at all. Highly recommended. Dessert at a bargain price. The rest of the prices are completely justified. We'd love to come back when we're back in the country.

Wir waren heute mit Freunden zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir hatten jeder eine Vorspeise, zwei gemeinsame Zwischengänge (Pizza und Muscheln), Hauptgang und Nachspeise. Es gibt an keiner der Speisen etwas auszusetzen. Beim Vitello Tonnato mag ich es nicht, wenn das schöne gute Fleisch vollkommen unter der Tonnato begraben wird und der Weissweinsud bei den Mischeln war mir etwas zu salzig. Aber das ist echt meckern auf hohem Niveau. Pizzateig war super lecker. Die Tomatensosse bei den Nudeln ebenfalls und die Panna Cotta war echt traumhaft. Mega cremig, locker, lecker und so herrlich zitronig. Die roten Beeren hätte es da gar nicht gebraucht. Sehr zu empfehlen. Nachtisch zum Schnäppchenpreis. Der Rest der Preise vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder im Lande sind.

By chance, we spontaneously drove to La Cascina to pick up some fine food, as no other such a gifted Italian restaurant in our region stands out so much for its food. The pizzas are exceptionally tasty and I slowly eat my way through the menu with great pleasure. You can taste the fresh, home-grown ingredients from Italy. The price/performance ratio is very good, although a slightly higher price would be justified. For us it is the number 1 Italian restaurant.

We were guests at "La Cascina" for the first time today and will now come more often. We received a very friendly welcome, although it was very busy, the staff took care of us directly and assigned us a table outside. The food was really tasty and you can tell that they value good ingredients. The wine was also at an optimal temperature. The person was very friendly and always attentive. In general, the atmosphere was very relaxed, so you could also talk to the guests at the other tables. Price/performance ratio is definitely reasonable. It was my birthday dinner today and I'm more than happy that it was such a success. 💞💞💞

With our group of 10 people, we ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and they were all very tasty and lovingly prepared. The food was served to everyone at the same time. The desserts were the crowning glory. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Well, first of all, it's not that easy for me to rate the ambience, as I only ever eat there to take away. Therefore, 5 stars here pro forma. About the food: The pizza is an absolutely top-class pizza. The dough is liquid and crispy at the same time. The tomato sauce tastes super fruity. My favorite is the Popeye (pizza spinach 8 euros), with either scampi or salmon and with extra garlic and pepperoni. This combination is absolutely amazing! The other dishes, whether pizzas, pasta or meat dishes, are also worth an absolute recommendation. This is the best pizzeria and the best Italian restaurant far and wide. If you have the chance, you should definitely eat here!

Fast geht oder fährt man an diesem wundervoll eingerichteten Restaurant in Schermbeck vorbei, bevor man es entdeckt und sich zur Einkehr entschließt. Ein überaus freundlicher Empfang, die Organisation eines Tisches, da nicht reserviert worden war. Das Essen, Pasta mit Filetspitzen, Gemüse, alles in einer leichten feinen Tomatensauce. Ein Gedicht! Aufmerksamer Service, recht gemütliche Atmosphäre. Alles in allem nicht preiswert, doch die Preise entsprechen der Qualität der Speisen und Getränke. Der nächste Besuch ist bereits geplant!
