Looking for a small Italian dinner (since I didn't want to eat at the hotel) I ended up at Trattoria Sorano. I got a table straight away. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. The Vitello Tonato appears small on the plate, but is much more and completely sufficient. Plus it tastes very good! The large mixed salad with strawberry vinegar sauce was really tasty. Pizza bread was served as a starter, free of charge. Very thoughtfully, I was given a (free) grappa with my espresso, which wasn't really a given either. The noise level is slightly higher due to the somewhat bare but stylish walls. But I found it rather good because it reminded me of a real Italian trattoria 😁. I will definitely come back and look forward to good, down-to-earth (in a positive sense) cuisine! Many thanks to the team!

This place is one of the best Italian restaurants in Regensburg. It is a definitely recommendable place to try if you visit Regensburg. 1. Food: as can be seen the pictures, two people enjoyed from Antipasti to Dolce. - Mixed plate for 2 people: The plate contains grilled veggies, sliced cheese, Caprese, beef Carpaccio and sliced truffle. All are well balanced and the amount are enough. For me, especially tomato and rucola were special and fresh. - Pasta: we ordered two type of Pasta (please refer to the pictures). The quality of tagliatelle (Bandnuddln) is beyond perfect. It is not a commercial product, it is home-made noodles and the level of cooking is also perfect for me. It was a little bit overcooked version of al dente. But it was perfect for me with tagliatelle. Fish and shrimp were also perfectly cooked and these texture was really tender and chewable. - Wine: I asked a waitress for the recommendation for the seafood pasta and she recommended Italian Lugana. She told us it is a dry wine and well matched with Seafood pasta. Wine itself was ok but I do not think it is a dry wine and well matched with my food. It was such a shame. - Coffee: I was touched by their service that they have decaffeinated coffee. If I drink a coffee in the evening, I cannot sleep well. So just in case I asked but they had it and served it nicely. But, the quality of coffees (normal and decaffeinated espresso) were just ok drinkable. It is definitely not an Italian restaurant level. 2. Service: all people were overall very nice and gentleness are embodied. I did not feel any uncomfortable feelings. 3. Atmosphere: I like the location of the restaurant. It is located in a narrow and old street, reminding me of the Italy. The mood inside was also very much Italian feeling. 4. Price: it is the main drawback of this place. The overall price is quite high. I know the quality of foods and services are good and they deserved the high price for sure. But when it comes to the cost-effectiveness, I cannot say it is very good. - FYI: The mixed starter for 2 people (36 euros), Pasta (22-23 euro for one person), opened 1/2 white wine (28 euros). Overall, except for the quality of coffee, wrong recommendation of wine, and the place, it is good ! I strongly recommend for the special day.

Interesting menu that has more to offer than the usual Italians and pizzerias, for example fresh and filled pasta. The service was great, friendly and quick. The ambience is very pleasantly quiet, so you can have a good conversation. A reservation is recommended

The restaurant is located directly at the city park and is modernly furnished. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was consistently of very good quality. Starters, pasta and pizzas tasted convincing and were well prepared. The price-performance ratio is also fair. Overall, a recommended Italian restaurant.

Very disappointing experience! I visited this restaurant for the first time as part of a small Christmas party. Small, rather simple guest rooms with a gray gas bottle that simply stood in the guest room next to the counter and thus gave off an inhospitable impression, and a cloudy, brownish plastic bean storage container for the coffee grinder next to the espresso machine. As an espresso fan, this is the first red flag: grinders and their storage containers must be regularly cleaned of coffee fat. The service was unobtrusive when taking the order, and the food arrived at the table fairly quickly, so there wasn't much to complain about. For dinner, I ordered one of the dishes from the menu that I thought was the least likely to go wrong: Spaghetti alla putanesca. The noodles were obviously homemade, the consistency was a bit sticky, but overall okay. But I can't judge the taste. The whole dish was overshadowed by a note of vinegar that simply has no place here. Spaghetti alla putanesca includes pasta, peeled tomatoes, garlic, anchovies, olives, capers and pepperoncini and oregano as seasoning. But vinegar? The only reason I can explain this is that capers pickled in vinegar brine are used here (instead of the good dry capers pickled in salt) and a big sip of this brine went into the dish when preparing it? A colleague also left her pizza behind in disappointment, commenting from her: "It tastes like stick bread with cheese on it, as thick and bready as the dough is." My full plate was later cleared away with a comment: "Wasn't it good?" To which I replied: "No, that wasn't good at all." There was no further reaction from the staff. Even when I paid and paid the €19.30 along with the drink with a €20.00 note, my change was only given to me after I insisted. It's also significant that no EC card payment is accepted here; I didn't see any notice of this at the entrance, only in small print on the menu below. On what grounds does a company think it has to insist on cash alone these days? In terms of food, it was a very disappointing evening, which was only corrected late in the evening in our own kitchen.

I can only rate the Tempura Marki, or fried sushi! I can warmly recommend them. I have rarely eaten as well as at Costa delivery service PIZZA (pizza and sushi). Everything tasted great. I'm really very excited and will always order my sushi here in the future - it's absolutely amazing without it Words👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The location is great, the service was very nice and attentive, but the pizza was a failure, I have rarely seen a pizza so watery and soggy, unfortunately absolutely not a recommendation, it still needs to be worked on. The pasta was very tasty but the pizza was actually inedible... Too bad

So maybe it was an unfortunate circumstance, there were hardly any guests there and it was recommended to us... inside you will find a more post-90s-looking atmosphere, with slightly quirky-looking plexiglass lamps and strange furnishings that certainly once had a glorious time. Maybe it would be quite hip if the atmosphere there didn't seem rather gloomy... and the food wasn't that great either...

Very tasty vegan pizza! No card payment possible and no eating on site
