Last working lunch with dear colleagues and friends in 2024. This time we ended up in the cute Luna Rossa Wonderful, unobtrusive service, always there when you needed it. For starters we had antipasti for two Unfortunately, the hunger was so great that the photo was unfortunately forgotten. The main course was veal schnitzel with porcini mushrooms and for dessert there was a delicious tiramisu Worth mentioning is the beautiful outdoor space that we immediately discovered for us smokers. Interesting menu that has more to offer than the usual Italians and pizzerias, for example fresh and filled pasta. The service was great, friendly and quick. The ambience is very pleasantly quiet, so you can have a good conversation. A reservation is recommended

The food was really good, L'Osteria quality is also known from all other cities. The service was terrible. We waited 1.25 hours for our pizzas. No apology or anything like that. When we asked, we kept saying “your food is coming soon” and so we were put off for over 1.25 hours. A tip was expected when paying. Of course I didn't pay because of the poor service. There was no more farewell from the service staff, just rolled eyes.

Had tickets to the Venetian Night. The event was really nice and we danced until midnight. The wine accompaniment was generous. Unfortunately the 3 course menu was simple and bland. All third courses were served in soup bowls. Very unfortunate. Otherwise, the Glöckl family has outdone itself. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Very disappointing experience! I visited this restaurant for the first time as part of a small Christmas party. Small, rather simple guest rooms with a gray gas bottle that simply stood in the guest room next to the counter and thus gave off an inhospitable impression, and a cloudy, brownish plastic bean storage container for the coffee grinder next to the espresso machine. As an espresso fan, this is the first red flag: grinders and their storage containers must be regularly cleaned of coffee fat. The service was unobtrusive when taking the order, and the food arrived at the table fairly quickly, so there wasn't much to complain about. For dinner, I ordered one of the dishes from the menu that I thought was the least likely to go wrong: Spaghetti alla putanesca. The noodles were obviously homemade, the consistency was a bit sticky, but overall okay. But I can't judge the taste. The whole dish was overshadowed by a note of vinegar that simply has no place here. Spaghetti alla putanesca includes pasta, peeled tomatoes, garlic, anchovies, olives, capers and pepperoncini and oregano as seasoning. But vinegar? The only reason I can explain this is that capers pickled in vinegar brine are used here (instead of the good dry capers pickled in salt) and a big sip of this brine went into the dish when preparing it? A colleague also left her pizza behind in disappointment, commenting from her: "It tastes like stick bread with cheese on it, as thick and bready as the dough is." My full plate was later cleared away with a comment: "Wasn't it good?" To which I replied: "No, that wasn't good at all." There was no further reaction from the staff. Even when I paid and paid the €19.30 along with the drink with a €20.00 note, my change was only given to me after I insisted. It's also significant that no EC card payment is accepted here; I didn't see any notice of this at the entrance, only in small print on the menu below. On what grounds does a company think it has to insist on cash alone these days? In terms of food, it was a very disappointing evening, which was only corrected late in the evening in our own kitchen.

I was there with my family on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was well attended, but not full. It's a pretty good Italian restaurant in Stadt am Hof, easily accessible on foot from the city center via the Steinerne Brücke, or alternatively via Badstrasse. Parking at Schopperplatz or Dultplatz is possible. Ambiance There is a pleasantly uncomplicated Italian atmosphere. The wall decorations with some photos of Picasso, Don Camillo and Co. can be avoided as they are a bit hackneyed and not up to date. In the cold season it is not so pleasant that the door from the outside constantly opens and cold air flows directly around the tables to those at the door. service The restaurant was well attended on Saturday, but not full. The service staff should perhaps think about the word service or are they a bit overwhelmed. You have to ask several times for someone to come. Not a polite word, not a smile, not asked if everything was okay during the meal and not a thank you despite a good tip! Furthermore, it is inappropriate to wait 40 minutes for food; Again, no excuse for the food taking an excessively long time. I can't say whether the kitchen or the service staff can't keep up, but the result remains the same. Food and drinks The pasta dishes are very well prepared and tasteful. I can't judge whether you're expected to order a starter and possibly a dessert, but none of the guests were satisfied with the portion size. Therefore the price for a pasta dish over €20 is not reasonable. The grilled shrimps are also highly recommended. Maybe the finished plates were left in the kitchen for a while before being served. The plate was cold and the chop was at most lukewarm. Price/performance ratio The price/performance ratio is not appropriate with regard to the pasta dishes. Even a scoop of ice cream with espresso and a little whipped cream for €7.50 is a bit excessive. The prices for the drinks are standard for the Regensburg restaurants. Conclusion The restaurant can only be recommended to a limited extent if you don't have a lot of patience and can accept the rather high prices for small portions.

At lunchtime we ordered pizza and waited for over an hour even though there was hardly anything going on in the restaurant. Apparently the cook didn't come to work. A little note when ordering that it may take longer would be very helpful.

The two of us ate there and had 2 pasta dishes. It was great! The rigatoni al forno was really spicy, I could have fooled myself. Food was at the table really quickly and the service was also great. Prices are also completely reasonable. We'll be back.
