Very good food, great service, what can I say, I'll be back at any time!

We spontaneously went there for dinner, that's the only good thing we got a table. The restaurant itself was overcrowded, the seats were so crowded that you came into contact with the person sitting next to you. I find that really unpleasant. Secondly, it was so loud that even the service staff couldn't understand us. For food: We had a Caesar salad, a pizza and pesto pasta. The salad and pasta were already eaten before the pizza even arrived, which is very unpleasant with 3 dishes. Croutons in the salad were not at all crispy and the bit of hard cheese on top was really a joke. The service employee offered us dessert as an apology, but he didn't really mean it because he didn't give us a ticket for the cancellation. All in all, I wouldn't enter this L'Osteria again.

I live nearby and generally like the chain, but I have to say that I can only recommend the pizza. We were there today and had the Gnocchi Gamberetti with chicken strips, which was expensive. The plate now costs over 15 euros, I mean even 15.95 which is really cool and you can definitely expect something at that price. It was tasty but each of us got a small children's portion with 4 strips of chicken each. At first I didn't know if that was a joke :) I thought the chef would come around the corner and bring the same portion of meat for everyone :D Neither the gnocchi nor the chicken were enough to fill you up, even if the chicken was transported fresh from the farm for us, the price is not in proportion. The waitress said she would pass it on but couldn't understand how 4 small strips could be too few for us :D Since we are in Germany, we left it like that and that was it. 44 euros for two portions, a coffee and a drink. 4 euros of that was a tip, since the waitress couldn't help the plates. To be honest, there are plenty of alternatives that deliver much better quality and quantity for the price. Pizza is still top tier.

Die L’Osteria in Regensburg hat mich wirklich überzeugt! Die Atmosphäre ist lebhaft und gemütlich, ideal für einen Abend mit Freunden. Unsere Kellnerin Marie hat uns wunderbar umsorgt – sie war freundlich, aufmerksam und hatte stets ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Sie schaffte es, trotz des vollen Restaurants jeden Wunsch schnell und mit einer positiven Ausstrahlung zu erfüllen. Das Essen war wie erwartet hervorragend: Riesenpizzen, knuspriger Boden und frische Zutaten. Auch die Pasta schmeckte wie in Italien. Ein rundum gelungener Abend, danke an Marie und das Team der L’Osteria!

Food as always good, service very nice. The toilets, however, were a disaster. Sink clogged, used paper towels piled half a meter high above the full trash can because it was in the corner. To be honest, I have never seen anything like this anywhere.

Quantity instead of quality is 100% the case here. Rarely have I had such a bad pizza. The espresso is totally sour. The tables are far too close together. All in all a complete disaster.

Some of the best pizza in Regensburg! And the service is on point. A great restaurant located in the middle of the old town! And about 10 euros for a cartwheel of pizza that you can hardly conquer on your own is really a great price

My wife and I waited more than 45 minutes for 2 pizzas, this is not nice! I will also tell my friends about this!

Problem of the place is sometimes tables too tight together and crowd noise inside. Pizza is absolut top notch italian style.

Great quality / great service / great ambience We were once again spoiled for choice when it came to choosing where to eat in Regensburg and once again we decided on the L Osteria. Of course we didn't have a reservation and were politely asked to wait at the bar until a table had finished eating and paid. We ended up having to wait 10 minutes. When ordering, there were small misunderstandings on both sides, which were more than just neutralized with free extras, even though there was no clear fault on the part of the service. They know their craft and work with heart, mind and professionalism when it comes to the products and service. Thank you again and again. Highly recommended.

We stopped by on a 7th chance and got a table for 6 people. Food good, service great.

Unfortunately, we waited for pizza for 50 minutes. They just forgot to do it or didn't accept the order, it doesn't matter. When the pizza was brought, it was raw, the dough was runny. And we waited again for one of the pizzas to be processed. We expected that they would give us a discount, but they didn't even apologize, but simply thanked us for waiting. The evening was ruined for us.

Pizzas are very good, what is particularly worth highlighting is that two people can have different toppings on a pizza. The only small point of criticism is that the tables and chairs are cramped. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Went to L'Osteria a while ago and unfortunately weren't very impressed. While the food was actually quite tasty when it came, the service was actually very disappointing. The waiter had apparently forgotten our order despite asking several times. A colleague then took the order a second time and then something happened. The ambience is typically very loud at L’Osteria… unfortunately, in my opinion, too loud. Having to yell at each other while you eat isn't necessarily great. Overall it's an okay shop, but there are much better Italian places in town. And unfortunately no one can get their hands on the pizzas at Sorano Regensburg anyway.

Nice restaurant at the old market square in Regensburg. Very good mushroom risotto, delicious Tiramisu. Very large thin-crust pizza. Service... we got it at the wrong time, the change of shifts was very busy, sometimes we had to wait a little longer between orders, but they managed. Overall, I recommend this place, loud and full of character.

I would like to write an evaluative review, but my order at 9 p.m. (open until 11 p.m.!!) was rejected after 75 minutes of waiting, which meant I was able to conjure up something to eat at 11:30 in the evening. Great cinema! Thanks

Das essen war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Pizza, wie üblich, sehr groß und lecker. Leider ist das Restaurant etwas klein, wodurch man nicht viel Platz hat und durch den einen Raum auch sehr laut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich

The pizza is not that reliable or consistent, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's burned and difficult to chew. Depends on your luck I guess. The tomato sauce and the recipes themselves are pretty exceptional, just the execution could use considerable improvement. Except for the vegetarian pizza. That one was very tasteless with very thick and hard to chew vegetables. I would not order that one.

Went to a L'Osteria for dinner again. I made a reservation wisely because there is always a lot going on. I decided on spagetti carbonara. This was good, but could have been a little spicier for my taste.

Unfortunately, the Losteria has lost a lot of quality in the last year. Waiting times are getting longer, pizzas are thinner and the quality is really poor. With a few exceptions, service is also unfriendly and arrogant - you can be lucky if you get a seat without a reservation, even though the restaurant is then very thinly attended the whole time. And then you also get a cat table. The fact that some things in the restaurant are no longer so harmonious can also be seen in the many changes in staff. Unfortunately, we have made this observation repeatedly over the last year, so as regular L'Osteria visitors we are now looking for another Italian restaurant. It's a shame actually. But maybe This recession is causing things to get better again.

Typisches Touristenlokal, schnelle Abfertigung für mlglichst großen Durchlauf. Essen war ok, aber nicht den Preisen angepasst. Pizzen schon fast unappetitlich groß und mager belegt. Musik sehr laut, selbst am 2erTisch war eine Unterhaltung kaum möglich.

Extremely loud locally. The Pizza Vegetariana was very large, but didn't taste like much. The vegetables were supposed to be grilled, but seemed like they were boiled in water. Enough cheese on it but without any taste.

The pizza was, as you would expect from L'Osteria, *very good*. However, there was a *train station-like atmosphere* for many guests, which made it quite loud. The *staff generally made an effort*, but appeared unfriendly and annoyed after no tip was given. For us, tipping is not a matter of course – it is also part of *good service*. We like to tip when service is friendly and attentive, but in this case it wasn't appropriate!

It would be great if the operator would protect the nerves and hearing of the guests and staff and stick felt pads under the chair legs. The background noise is therefore very drastic.

The best pizza I had in Germany and one of the best in Europe. Great flavors, well seasoned, super light dough. Huge... we were shocked when they arrived at the table. One of them would have been enough for both of us. Fast service and super friendly and helpful. I want to go back.

I was there today and ordered a pizza Quattro Formagie. The pizza had no trace of grogonzolo cheese. In any case, I didn't order a formagie. I paid money unnecessarily. You could order a Magerita directly instead. I described the situation. They didn't accept the complaint. They still had to pay for the pizza. That was rude.

Vitello Tonnato was very good. The pizza was also good. Dessert was a little weaker than usual because there were no strawberries, but they should have been in the dessert. In this respect, it should not have been served that way, but rather offered a substitute. The tiramisu was very good. The prices are okay.

I ordered a pizza, half ham and half pepperoni and here what I got (look at the picture): the side of the pepperoni included spicy paprika instead! I returned to the restaurant, asking for my pepperoni, and they started to educate me on the naming convention: pepperoni in Germany is different than the pepperoni in the US! Weird?! They might be right, I don't know! I have been living in Germany for more than a year and a half, I ordered plenty of pepperoni pizzas, and it was the first time that I know this information! They event mentioned a complex (maybe also Italien) name for the pepperoni, pretending that it is the German name of the pepperoni! Anyways, I ate my pizza cold and it was terrible! A complete dissatisfaction and real disappointment!

L'Osteria in Regensburg is definitely worth a visit! As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel welcome and can enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The highlight of the evening for me was the Pizza Capricciosa – simply fantastic! The dough was perfectly thin and crispy, the topping rich and fresh. The combination of juicy ham, fresh mushrooms, artichokes and black olives was simply delicious and totally convinced me. The service was also very attentive and quick, which only made the overall experience even better. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Regensburg, L'Osteria is the right place for you!

If I compare this restaurant with the past, there is nothing left of Losteria except that the pizzas have remained the same size. In terms of taste, however, no dish can compete with what it used to be. Apparently the owner has changed, as have all the employees, I can't explain it any other way. The pizzas used to have a lot of toppings, but today 3 shrimps end up on the huge pizza. Conclusion It doesn't taste good anymore, but the prices have been raised properly. Here again no other backyard pizzaria is better.

Locale graziosissimo nel centro di Ratisbona , quando mi trovo all estero sono sempre restia ai ristoranti italiani , ma dopo 10 giorni in giro per la germania non ho resistito alla tentazione di una pizza. Accolti calorosamente da Federico il direttore , ci siamo subito seduti e in breve tempo abbiamo iniziato a mangiare due ottime pizze , impasto leggero e fine , dimensione fuori dalla norma , buonissima. Servizio impeccabile , ci sono tornata anche io giorno successivo 😊

Nonostante il locale fosse strapieno di avventori, abbiamo cenato tranquillamente senza lunghe attese. Personale gentile e cortese. I dolci "superlativi". Consigliatissimo per chi è nostalgico di buon cibo italiano. Bravi tutti e complimenti per la gestione!
