L'Osteria in Regensburg

Ordering through Lieferando was a disaster. Instead of the promised delivery time of 30 minutes, we had to wait two hours! The pizza was almost cold, and the bread for the pasta dish was completely forgotten!

Very friendly staff, but I was confused by the actual size of my pizza. 🙃 I knew it would be large, but so large that it had to be placed sideways on the table is really unusual 😉 Then you have to cut the pizza and stack it on top of each other to avoid having to cut it on the table. 🤔 Perhaps they should provide boards for these sizes instead of regular plates. The value for money is good – you basically get 2-3 pizzas for the price of one. However, my Vegetariana only had a few pieces of vegetables on it. So I basically got a Margarita with a few small pieces of zucchini and eggplant. I would have preferred a smaller pizza with more vegetables on it. My companion ordered a tonno, but it was well-topped. I think they should offer smaller pizzas alongside these huge ones; then I would come back. 😃

We often eat at l'Osteria, which is why we thought it would be the easiest and most uncomplicated way to eat pizza on our trip to Regensburg. It was a warm day and the terrace was full. When we asked for a table, a somewhat annoyed gentleman said that everything was booked at the moment and we should come back in an hour. An hour later we were back. The gentleman didn't seem to recognize us. When we asked him that we had already been there an hour ago and were now waiting for a table, he said that we hadn't made a reservation, that we should have made a reservation for an hour later, that now there is nothing available and that we can wait until someone gets up. It wasn't worth it to us anymore and we went somewhere else to eat. Better communication would have been nice here, rather than trying to excuse ourselves from our own mistakes at the expense of the guest?

Pizza was huge, well baked, not too thick, Only surprise was that you are requested for extra tip while paying the bill.

If you serve large pizzas, make sure the plates are big enough. Now half of them were on the table and I saw the dirty cloths with which they clean the tables after every customer. Hmmmmm not very hygienic. The knives are also blunt. Pre-cutting the pizza with a pizza roll knife is more customer-friendly. The tomato soup was tasty but the spaghetti Bolognaise simple, lots of tomato and little meat. The service was friendly. Price quality ratio is fine 👍

Super food, pleasant service, great atmosphere

Service was very unfriendly and at times ignorant. As a guest, you feel unwelcome or are treated as a burden to the kitchen and staff. At the end, the young waitress even wondered why I left a zero-euro tip. Her surprise also suggests that intelligence isn't born of thin air. Unbelievable—hope they improve soon. The food is standard; in the Landshut branch, you're always treated like a guest. In Regensburg, that's a far cry. Poor staff, no catering expertise from the ladies and few gentlemen.

We were served quickly and well with 24 people. It was quick enough for the 13 children, and the service was very friendly... We'll be back. :-)

The food was good. It was unusual for the restaurant to be half empty. Even after the starter, we waited over 45 minutes for pizza with no explanation! The waiters were unmotivated. We wanted to order dessert, but polishing the cutlery and wiping the tables was apparently more important. We were then allowed to pay and left. I've never experienced Losteria like this at 7 p.m.!

The waitress, Lisa, was very attentive and left nothing to be desired. The food was also very good. All around, highly recommended!

Great pizzeria in the city center I like the cozy atmosphere; you can watch the pizza makers at work, and the background music is atmospheric. The pizzas are delicious and really big, so the prices are completely fair. The offer of a two-piece pizza is a good idea.

The service was attentive, friendly, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You could tell the passion they put into their work. The value for money: absolutely fair for this quality. Very good food, very well organized, very good service. The only criticism, which applies not only to this l'Osteria in Regensburg: It's often too loud, too busy, too stressful. But it's also true that this is precisely why many people like going there. Perhaps a slightly quieter area could be created or added so that all guests can feel comfortable.

Food is good. Unfortunately, the service is now crap and the behavior of some employees is arrogant. The store seems to be doing too well lately. The individual customer no longer counts.

Disappointing experience – unfortunately not recommended I ordered a pizza to pick up and was overall very disappointed. The waiting time was significantly longer than stated when ordering - despite the time previously stated. The pizza seemed carelessly prepared, with little care and was quite greasy. In terms of taste, it's not a highlight either - it's more heavy on the stomach than enjoyable. Unfortunately that was the last time for me.

Still very tasty pizzas. The staff is very on the ball and nice. It's too loud inside for me, but outside it's a really wonderful place to eat very good pizza. By the way, you shouldn't let RESVIERT signs stop you from asking whether something is free...

Among other things, I ordered Oricchette di Manzo al Limone for 17.95, but without beef. The amount remained at 17.95, despite eliminating what was probably the most expensive ingredient in the dish. The taste was so-so. Unfortunately I couldn't taste a bit of spice and lime. A disappointment for me and therefore not recommended.

The food was super delicious!! As a starter, the small anti-pasti plate, which is really large and well filled. The main course was very tasty pizzas and the dessert was delicious tiramisu and panna cotta. The service was also very good, everything was quick and pleasant. The price was also great. I am absolutely convinced and can therefore absolutely recommend Losteria.

L'Osteria is relatively small and the seating inside is very crowded. It's quite dark. It's a little better outside. The food was okay. Half of Cappricciosa was tasty, BBQ chicken was rather dry and a bit too dark. The service was very friendly and even when the wrong half arrived, the correct half was quickly at the table.

Easily get a seat without a reservation. Fast, friendly service, food very good, completely satisfied. The only point of criticism, if you want to call it that, is the volume. It kind of speaks for the place that it's so busy :0) but it was a tad too loud for us. But we'll still come back :)

We had reserved a table for 4 people, got there on time, were shown to a table and then watched as waitress after waiter walked past our table without paying any attention to us. After 20 minutes the bar table was occupied, in no time a waitress was there, in no time they had something to drink and in no time we left the restaurant, which probably didn't want to serve us because there were two dark-skinned people there.

We were very disappointed. We had to wait over an hour for our pizzas with side dishes of salad in front of us. The reason for the long wait was an order for the delivery of 17 pizzas, even though the store was packed. The friendly waitress informed us and unfortunately also acknowledged our discomfort. She sent us the boss, who couldn't be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness. There was no apology on his part and unfortunately he just talked to us stupidly. Such people shouldn't work in the catering industry if they don't know how to behave towards customers. Apart from the fact that the service was nice and we paid a lot of money, there was nothing nice about the evening for us, even though we had a special occasion to celebrate!

Very unfriendly waiter who welcomed us. We left the restaurant straight away because of his behavior. I can't give a rating for the food, but based on this service I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

I recently went to L’Osteria – the pasta was really good, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Ideal if you want to have an uncomplicated Italian meal.

I had the Orecchiette di Manzo al Limone and was completely satisfied - the pasta was cooked to perfection, the meat was tender and the lemon sauce was wonderfully fresh and balanced. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was pleasantly lively. Clear recommendation for a successful evening.

Pizza was very good! The problem is, you can't have a normal conversation at a table. The atmosphere was so loud that you needed earmuffs. You don't understand your own words!!! Normal conversation is not possible!

Extremely thin and good pizzas that rise above the edge of the plate. It's very crowded in the evening and it's a gamble to get a table without a reservation and there's a certain level of noise, but it's worth it.

It used to be better. Long hair in pizza. Funghi and Presunto half was okay. Capricciosa half was too soggy.

We had reserved Easter Saturday afternoon online for the evening at 7 p.m. for 4 people with a dog (dachshund). Worked without any problems! However, the round table was almost a bit too small. Unfortunately it is really noisy and you won't find a romantic pizzeria here.

The staff is very friendly. We were able to change the reserved table without any problems. The drinks came quickly and so did the food. When we asked that it was my birthday today and when we made the reservation, we got the dessert and the espresso on the house. Highly recommended
