Great Restaurant In Handschuhsheim; Starter, main course and dessert were delicious and attractively presented. The ambience and service were also very winning. We'd be happy to come back on our next visit to Heidelberg.

While passing through we were looking for a good Italian restaurant and came across “Il Pescatore Heidelberg”. Our visit began with a somewhat reserved reception, but the initial reluctance quickly disappeared. I ordered a “Maffioso” pizza, my wife chose a mixed fish platter. Both dishes were excellently prepared and very attractively presented. The desserts are particularly noteworthy: the tiramisu and the panna cotta were a real delight. The quality of the food was excellent, and at a surprisingly reasonable price. The ambience of the restaurant seems a bit old, but it didn't bother us as everything was clean and well-kept. The service was friendly and took special requests into account, although it could have been a little more attentive, for example when refilling drinks. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit and can fully recommend “Il Pescatore Heidelberg”. Despite minor compromises in service, the restaurant deserves 5 stars.

Eat like in Italy. With the first bite you feel like you have been transported to the cuisine of classic Venice. Nothing too much in terms of taste, nothing too little. Just really good! Heavenly.
