We are deeply sad that Patria will no longer exist as a restaurant in the future and that Partia will become an event location instead. What a loss. A special piece of Heidelberg restaurant culture is irreplaceably lost. We would like to thank the Partia team for the wonderful, unforgettable evenings with many culinary highlights. Exceptional location with delicious food and great service...

Nice location, but the engine runs constantly. The food was nothing special. We were rather disappointed after the meal and would not recommend it. Value for money is therefore not given.

Great ambience with a view of the castle. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was very good, the portions are manageable. Price-performance ratio is superior. But all in one a highlight.

We reserved on new years eve at 20:00, We had to wait 30 minutes for our table (which we had reserved 3 weeks in advance). Dinner waiting time was 2.5 hours after ordering and we are still waiting. its 23:00, almost new year and still no food. Atmosphere definitely does not match the price…..Not a nice feeling overall. Very unhappy about the service. Note: I must say that the food was really good.

I was at the restaurant some time ago. The food was not exceptional. The service horrendous for the price paid. The best is the view you get while seating there. There many better places.

Very good food, gorgeous views of the river, the old bridge, and the castle! The service was amazing and everyone was extremely helpful, accommodating and cheerful. I arrived early and it very likely made for a very good experience.

The boat restaurant of the Heidelberg Suites Hotel. A very nice experience, the decoration is cosy and you can enjoy a nice (mostly Italian) meal in a romantic setting. Usually the boat does a small cruise on the Neckar during dinner.

Da am 2.9. die dritte Schlossbeleuchtung inklusive Feuerwerk stattfand, gab es einen Dreigänger mit Fisch oder Fleisch. Alle drei Gänge waren super fein. Das Feuerwerk war das "Tüpfchen auf dem i"!

Leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente. Der Keller leider sehr über ambitioniert. Toller Blick auf die Burg.

Nice place and the ride with the boat was unexpected and very beautiful. However the drinks were not so good and my food was disappointing especially that the description of the food was misleading. I ordered a mozzarella and steak fillet salad and it barely came with mozzarella and the steak was overcooked in parts and way under cooked in other parts so unfortunately it didn’t taste good.

Wir hatten für Samstag Abend einen Tisch für zwei reserviert. Auf der Yacht angekommen, wurden wir gebeten an der Bar platzt zu nehmen, da wir auf unseren Tisch noch warten müssten. Wie lange die Wartezeit sein wird, konnte uns keiner mitteilen, da alle Tische belegt waren und zusätzlich sechs andere Gruppen gewartet haben. Als „Entschuldigung“ bekam jeder ein glas Sekt aufs Haus, welche unsere Wartezeit von 1,5h trotz Reservierung nicht wieder gutmachen konnte. Es ging alles sehr hektisch umher und entsprach nicht der Vorstellung eines entspannten Abends. Der Abend nahm jedoch ein gutes Ende, da wir um 22Uhr an unseren Platz begleitet wurden und außerdem einen netten und zuvorkommenden Service vom ganzen Team genießen konnten. Das Essen von den Vorspeisen bis zum Dessert war sowohl optisch, als auch geschmacklich auf den Punkt getroffen. Wir werden der Patria Yacht definitiv eine zweite Chance geben und hoffen, dass die Reservierungen an diesem Tag besser gemanagt werden!

Wir waren anlässlich einer Familienfeier abends zum Essen auf der Patria. Das Ambiente mit Blick auf das Heidelberger Schloss und die vorbeifahrenden Schiffe und Boote war sehr beeindruckend. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch der Service sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir durften uns gestern Abend wieder einmal verwöhnen lassen. Der Anlass war die Heidelberger Schlossbeleuchten .Kulinarisch war dass Menü gestern wieder einmal der Hammer. Es war alles wie gewohnt vom Feinsten. Für das gewohnte Umsorgt werden der mega lieben Mädels Kathi und Rock gibt es ein riesengroßes Dankeschön ❤️ Auch Luay ein mega Dankeschön für das immer perfekte Gefühl Willkommen zu sein. Ein Gastgeber der immer sehr bemüht ist das es an nichts fehlt und es einem immer gut geht. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals an die gesamte Crew der Patria. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu Euch.

Einfach eine überragende Location mit einem Essen, welchem im Munde zergeht! Der Service der Mitarbeiter setzt Maßstäbe in der Umgebung.

Muy buena experiencia hemos pasado comiendo allí. El sitio es inmejorable, y el trato de los camareros impecable, siempre atentos y agradables. La comida muy buena, hemos pedido el carpaccio y los spaghetti con gambas y estaban muy buenas, especialmente este último. Volvería a repetir y lo recomiendo

Non ci siamo proprio. L'insalata di mare era solo polpo, meglio prenderlo al rewe e far da soli. L'orata è morta due volte: quando è stata pescata e quando è stata cucinata in quel modo, totalmente asciutta. Le fettuccine ai funghi piene di panna e olio, immangiabili. Nonostante la prenotazione, non ci hanno detto che saremmo stati dentro la barca e non fuori, un ambiente antiquato e maleodorante di non so quale fiore. L'unica nota positiva la cameriera molto gentile, per il resto è solo un ristorante finto italiano e molto costoso. Mi spiace ma mai più.

This restaurant is phenomenal! Seriously, all food is so outstanding, and rivals any Italian food in Italy. We stayed at the Heidelberg Suites, House of Hutter and their restaurant is a barge on the Neckar River. Reservations for dinner included a boat ride along the river for over an hour, so beautiful !! Spectacular gnocchi with Gorgonzola and the Branzino is some of the best I’ve ever had. The eggplant Parmesan was to die for! The tortufo and tiramisu were both incredible!! This is a must when coming to Heidelberg!!

Ein absolut tolles Erlebnis!! Ich hatte gestern für meine Frau und mich einen Tisch um 20:00 Uhr im Restaurant gebucht und dort einen wunderschönen Abend verbracht. Die Atmosphäre auf dem Boot ist einmalig. Dies ist vor allem dem engangierten Personal zu verdanken. Ich habe noch nie solch ein aufmerksames und freundliches Servicepersonal erlebt, obwohl ich des öfteren in sehr guten Restaurants zu Gast bin. Die Mitarbeiter waren dabei sets natürlich und niemals aufdringlich. Einfach nur perfekt! Auch das Essen war perfekt abgestimmt und einfach nur köstlich. In dieser Atmosphäre vergisst man vollkommen den Alltag und kann komplett abschalten. Von daher kann ich Patria wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Sehr gutes Konzept, das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Personal und Bedienung ist sehr nett und schnell trotz viele Gäste. Wir waren noch positiv überrascht, dass es noch ein Schiffart ca. 1 Stund gab. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Wir waren heute Abend dort zum essen, es war ein super Abend, die Bedinung super freundlich obwohl sie Stress hatte, und das Essen einfach genial, und dann hatten wir noch eine Schiffahrt oben drauf mit dem hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Wir kommen wieder auf jeden Fall.

Ich habe in diesem Lokal(Schiff) ,letzten Freitag ,meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Es war mega genial.Der Service war der beste meines Lebens . Auf einer Skala von 0 bis 10 bekommt das Lokal 100 Punkte. Danke für einen traumhaften Abend.

Perfekt!! Tolles Ambiente, wunderschöne Lage. Toller Service, engagiert sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, kompetent, höflich. Sehr gutes Essen. Wir haben einen 18. Geburtstag mit Familie gefeiert, hatten eine vorherige Menübesprechung, wählten Fisch und/oder Fleisch mit Beilagen. Alle haben zusammen gegessen, tolles Timing. Jeder war ausnahmslos sehr begeistert vom Essen, Service, Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert!! Danke!

Ein anderer Ort als üblich um in Heidelberg zu Abend zu essen ist dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und bemüht sich sehr dem Gast alles recht zu machen. Gekocht wird italienisch. Die Küchenleistung ist für den Rahmen in Ordnung. Wir genossen einen schönen Abend der fast perfekt gewesen wäre wenn zwei Dinge anders gewesen wären. Erstens: Wie wollten in einem angenehmen Lokal gemütlich essen, hatten aber das Gefühl der Betreiber fühlt sich auch als Clubbetreiber, denn man wurde kräftig mit 'Musik' beschallt. Der Bitte es etwas leiser angehen zu lassen entsprach man zwar - es hielt leider nur kurz. Warum meinen manche Gastronomen ihre Gäste laut beschallen zu müssen - zumal sie garnicht wissen welche Musik diese denn überhaupt mögen? Zweitens: Im Verlauf des Abends wurde das Licht so weit heruntergedimmt, daß man um ein weiteres Funzelchen für den eh kleinen Tisch bitten mußte um das was auf dem Teller liegt überhaupt zu erkennen? Keine Ahnung. Das Lokal würde ich aber durchaus wieder besuchen.

Este barco es un verdadero oltimer, muy bien restaurado y convertido en un barco restaurante. La cena ofreció una pequeña opción, pero debería coincidir con todos los gustos (creo). La selección del vino tampoco es demasiado grande, pero también bastante buena. El servicio es amable, atento y competente, como aprendimos al seleccionar un vino. Realmente una gran estancia.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend auf dem Schiff. Das Essen ist sehr fein, die Getränke passend, das Personal sehr herzlich und kompetent. Das Schiff fährt eine Stunde lang hin und her, dann legt es wieder an. Wenn noch Platz frei ist, kann man auch kostenlos mitfahren, wenn man nur etwas trinkt. Wir fahren ganz bestimmt wieder mit.

Auch wenn uns die Elemente einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht haben und aus dem lauschigen Sommerabend nichts wurde, der Service, die Qualität des Essens und die Weinberatung waren grandios. Fürsorglich wurde immer wieder nachgeschaut, ob nicht doch ein Regentropfen den Weg zu uns gefunden hätte. Aber, Entwarnung. Wir saßen phantastisch versorgt und gemütlich auf dem gut geschützten Oberdeck und ließen den Abend mit allerlei Genuss an uns "Vorbeiplätschern".

We had a great meal here for four people (1x child) with very friendly and helpful staff. Due to the fireworks on the 1st June the main bridge in Heidelberg was closed meaning we had a detour walk to be able to get to the boat on time and not miss the departure. Fortunately we made it and enjoyed a nice cruise down the river Neckar with some tasty food. The team were able to handle dietary requirements with short notice. Well recommended.

Wir hatten den Brunch für Sonntag gebucht und waren 8 Personen. Zwei aus unserer Gruppe waren mehr als skeptisch, wurden jedoch eines Besseren belehrt. 😁 Vorspeisen und Nachtischbuffet waren abwechslungsreich und lecker und auch die servierten Gänge haben uns gut geschmeckt. sehr netter Service, wir hatten den Kapitänstisch - perfekt!

We booked the NYE/Silvester cruise after the one at the castle was sold out. What luck! The boat was very intimate, with great views. The food was fantastic and interesting. Martin, the server/sommelier, recommended a new wine with each course. He has an obvious passion for German wines! All the other servers were great too. Topped off with fireworks in the middle of the Neckar River; We had a night we’ll never forget! THANKS!

We had the most wonderful evening on board the Patria. We were warmly greeted by Martin, who was attentive throughout. There was simply nothing to fault: from the delicious food, excellent German wines and the lovely ambience of the 1930’s boat. A must for anyone looking for a special experience when in Heidelberg!

Sind über Freunde auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam gemacht worden. Wir sind zu viert zum Essen auf dem Restaurant-Schiff gewesen. Zwei von uns sind etwas schwierig bzgl Essensauswahl 🙈. Bei der Tischreservierung im September haben wir uns extra versichert, dass bei unserem Besuch noch die Sommerkarte gültig ist. Uns wurde versichert, dass es frühestens zum 15.10. ein Menuewechsel geben würde. So waren wir sehr überrascht, dass am 05.10. das Herbstmenue galt. Ich bin weder Fisch- noch Wildesserin, hatte somit keine andere Wahl, als vegetarisch bzw. das Hirschgericht ohne Hirsch zu bestellen. Jedes bestellte Gericht hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, allerdings waren die Portionen sehr übersichtlich. Wir haben einen Gutschein eingelöst, hätten wir selbst zahlen müssen, hätte ich mich über den Preis geärgert. Außerdem sollte man keine Angst vor Spinnen 🕷 haben. Wir bekamen mehrmals Besuch von diesen, entweder sie rannten über den Tisch oder seilten sich an den „Zeltplanen“ ab. Für mich war dies sehr unentspannt, da ich ständig das Gefühl hatte, dass eine Spinne an meinem Bein ist. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Auch meine Sonderbestellung wurde problemlos ermöglicht. Unschlagbar ist natürlich die Aussicht....durch die Fahrt auf dem Neckar konnte jeder von uns das angestrahlte Schloss bewundern.

Es ist schon etwas ganz besonderes wenn man das leckere Essen eines Sternekoch auf einem restaurierten Schiff genießen darf. Besonders wenn es dann noch auf dem Neckar vor der Altstadt von Heidelberg auf und ab fährt kann man hier einen sehr schönen Abend verbringen.

Alles war super und stimmig, in sehr intimer Atmosphäre saßen wir an Deck, der Kellner war extrem nett und zuvorkommend und konnte auf Fragen aller Art zum Essen oder Wein mit großem Wissen antworten. Das Essen selbstverständlich hübsch angerichtet und unglaublich lecker! Vom 3-Gang Menü wurde ich sogar ausreichend satt, obwohl ich ein guter Esser bin. Zu zweit haben wir inkl. Wein und Aperitiv 160€ bezahlt.

Ein wunderschöner Abend mit dem besten Blick auf das Schloss Heidelberg! Ich hatte das große Glück, dass mein Partner für seinen Heiratsantrag das Restaurantschiff ausgewählt hatte. Es war rundherum perfekt. Vom Personal, der Aussicht, über das Essen bis hin zur Bootstour. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Abend! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

My husband and I went for a romantic dinner on the Patria. It was a beautiful evening. We arrived around 6:30 to have a drink before our dinner. We were made very welcomed by the crew and had a delicious sparkling wine on the bow of the boat and appreciated the view of the castle then, as the boat started the trip, we sat and had our delicious meal. It was beautiful and the food and wine were delicious. Really worth it!

great location set inside the Heidelberg Castle walls. Loved the artworks in here, we sat outside in the open terrace which has excellent views of the old castle courtyard. Food was excellent I enjoyed the Smoked Eel with cucumber and Horeraddish.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The entire staff was fabulous. The bartender and chef were so professional and nice. The food was amazing. Definitely a place to go if you enjoy seafood. We let the chef pick our menu for us which was the best way to go. The cruise part is fine. It is short, but you get to go through the lock twice which was pretty cool. The boat is really lovely. It was top to bottom a relaxing and delicious dining experience.

A number of ships offer dinner cruises on the Neckar River at Heidelberg, but most of them are large modern ships, whereas the H.S. Patria is a small, historic boat that provides a much more intimate experience, with seating for only 30 diners. My wife and I started our evening with drinks on the upper deck and then at 8 p.m we went below for dinner and the cruise on the Neckar began. The cruise offers interesting views of Heidelberg and its surroundings, and then you return to Heidelberg and anchor next to the historic old bridge with a fantastic view of the Heidelberg castle (especially if you are at one of the smaller tables on the right side of the boat). On a small boat like this, the kitchen is also small, so the menu choices are limited, but the chef makes every effort to accommodate your wishes. We were in Heidelberg during the white asparagus season, so that was the main course (with a choice of different fish or meat as accompaniment). Everything was tastefully prepared, and there was also a nice selection of wines to go with the meal. I recommend this restaurant highly for the overall experience and the beautiful views of Heidelberg, especially during the evening when the historic old bridge and castle are illuminated. If the cruise and views are not so important to you, you may want to choose a more traditional restaurant with a wider range of menu choices.

I had a had a fantastic dinner with coworkers on the HS Patria last night. The food was elegant, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had a main course of salmon (lach) , a dessert of a strawberry mousse. Even the bread on the table was fanastic, with olives or nuts. The views from the boat are great. Our dinner was during the hours before and after sunset, with golden light shining on the Heidelberg castle. The boat did a little cruise, upriver through the locks then a bit downriver from our starting point. All in all, I'd recommend the HS Patria highly.
