We visited Anna Lakshmi on Monday evening. She gave us various recommendations and always seemed enthusiastic and happy: this was also reflected in the food. We felt like we were in Sri Lanka or India, very authentic. Thank you Anna!🫶🏽

Our absolute favorite restaurant! We have been to this wonderful restaurant many times - and have been thrilled every time! The food is simply incredibly good, full of authentic Indian flavors and prepared with a lot of love. The dishes taste fresh and perfectly seasoned every time. The atmosphere is also something special: warm, familiar and incredibly inviting. You don't just feel like a guest here, but almost like part of the family. The owners are exceptionally friendly and attach great importance to ensuring that everyone feels comfortable. For us, there is no better place to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Absolute recommendation!

The delivery service is substandard. The vehicle's brake lights don't work and the driver doesn't care. Neither did the restaurant when I called. Put indicators? For what? But the police are interested.

Everything is always fresh, tasty and quite cheap. Can be recommended without reservation. Eating on site is also very possible. Enough places, even outside. Prompt and nice service.

Food is tasty and filling. The menu doesn't show the actual price, VAT is charged separately.

We happened to walk past it this afternoon and found the lunch specials tempting. It's probably like that for many people. All tables were occupied. When we ordered the bread was not brought to the table. It probably got lost acoustically in the hustle and bustle. Since it didn't appear on the bill and we were stuffed with food, it suited us. The service was very friendly and there was no waiting time for service at any table. The spiciness of the dishes is similar to that of the West. Adapted to the palate. A recommendation for lunch. Deliciously filling for under 10€ 👍

Terrible call service .. i just wanted to order some food but the person on the phone told me that he has no time for me to take my order…. They have only disrespectful workers…..

Worst food quality. They don't even know how to prepare.. they just used tomato sauce with onions to prepare curry gravy.. horrible taste. Never ever try Indian food here..

As an Indian, it's absolutely wonderful that there's an authentic vegetarian Indian restaurant in Germany. Having previously visited many branches of Saravanaa Bhavan in the Emirates, I can confidently say this restaurant keeps up its good name here. The food was excellent, and it was much anticipated as I had a nice ghee roast. The service is also wonderful, sometimes they have busy days but they work hard and fast to get your requests out ASAP. The atmosphere is calming, which is a nice contrast and provides a break from the big crowded area of Cologne Central. I would absolutely give it 5 stars, however, it's the pricing. I do understand that it's much harder to get one's hands on Indian ingredients (the batter, for example) but the food here is insanely expensive compared to the branches over in the Emirates. It makes it a once-in-a-while meal, and that makes it a little harder to part with your favourite cuisine. Regardless, it's still one of the best restaurants to go to if you really want to try out vegetarian Indian cuisine.

Prices are fair and the food is so delicious, we like here!
