Small nice restaurant. Super delicious food. Friendly staff

I do not k know where to begin. Amaaaazing food. I guess all these years I have been in the EU, without a doubt this was one of the best desi food I had. We had the tandoori mix grill. Serving size was good. It was more than enough for two people. The owner is a very nice guy. Really appreciate the talk to him. Very hospitable. One thing, service could have been better.

I got scolded for not having cash and told me not do it again. Not coming back

Good, delicious food in Cologne's old town. Ambience a bit 'dated'

I went there with my friend. Food ordered. When he brings the cutlery it was dirty. Specially the forks. Seems like never washed. I asked to change and he bring the same again the dirty one’s. Food was ok but don’t know how much cleanliness use to make the food. 🥴

Worst experience ever. Went there with family yo find to much less food items. Some of the snacks we order were frozen inside with worst taste. I would not suggest anyone to be there 👎👎👎👎

To avoid making a really long review I am going to summarize the situation I had with my family. The samosas we ordered were actually rotten resulting in my mom being very sick. The service was DEVSATINGLY slow. The restaurant at the moment wasn't very crowded with barely 3 table full *including us* with an average of 3-4 people. Nevertheless, the restaurant took an hour to get the plates ready for the starter and nearly another 35-45 minutes to serve the starter. However, if your in the restaurant and it's too late I would consider ordering something from the meat if you are not a vegetarian as the cooks only made the non-vegetarian option horrendously.

We felt absolutely comfortable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and shows absolute attention to detail. The food was completely delicious and very suitable for vegetarians (large selection) The employees are also very nice, so an absolute recommendation from me!

It was many years ago very good, sadly it was very disappointing, the chicken (I assume had been cooked then frozen then reheated) the meal tasted more like it come from a tin. The naan was very good!

Very disappointing, haven't visited for a number of years (having not been in Cologne for a number of years). Dish was thin and the chicken seemed to have been pre-cooked sometime in the past (reminded me of tinned curry), naan was good. Service slow (considering there was only three tables in use).

This place used to be good. So went there after a long time. Worst indian food i had in Germany. Was there on 15.12.2023, around 21:00. Odered Kadai chicken and Nan. What they served had nothing to do with Kadai. And looked very old. When they asked, I gave them the above feedback. They then brought new curry. But the damage was already done. Struggled with severe diarrhoea the whole night! Filthy place!

Super nice, fine and small, typical Indian restaurant! With great attention to detail, absolutely delicious food like in India! Best Indian in Cologne :) Such a warm boss and super nice staff! Thank you for such a lovely evening with you! Gladly again at any time :)

We had our lunch at restaurant Jaipur Koln Germany. Quality of food was excellent. Behaviour of Mr. Rony Singh and his team won our hearts. I recommend travellers to come to this restaurant.

We had a lovely experience. The food was delicious. The variety of meat and vegetarian dishes was a delight that could feed anyone. Prices are quite reasonable for the amount of dishes you get. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions.

Encontramos este lugar y fue un total acierto. Nos atendió su dueño que habla muy bien español y la comida es Fantástica , real comida india . Nos sentimos muy cómodos y esperamos volver en nuestro próximo viaje . Recomendado totalmente para salir un poco de lo tradicional alemán.

Das Essen ist ganz gut, der Service ist nett, aber unbeholfen, unaufmerksam und lustlos. Alle Getränke waren waren warm (Bier, Softgetränke, Wasser) und das im Sommer. Nach der Bestellung müssten wir über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten und dann kam nur die Hälfte, weil die restlichen Bestellungen ausverkauft waren, ist dem Service/Küche erst aufgefallen ist, als das Essen auf dem Tisch kam und man nachgefragt hat. Die Rechnung war komplett falsch aufgestellt, sowas geht gar nicht. Fazit: Nicht nochmal

Sir, Owing to the very poor service that I received on the 12th of May 2023 at your restaurant, Good Food Cafe, I wish to air my complaints. I was unhappy with the staff's attitude and also the quality of the food. Firstly, the staff portrayed a large amount of incompetence and a bad attitude towards customers.

Authentische indische Küche aus der Region Jaipur. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und erklärt sein Kochkonzept gerne. Er ist seit 29 Jahren mit dem Restaurant in Köln und kocht authentische indische Hausmannskost. Ein sehr fein-balancierter Geschmack. Eines der besten indischen Restaurants in Köln.

Der Chef ist extrem nett und die Kellner*innen auch. Das Essen echt toll und die Stimmung war schön. Echt ein tolles und entspanntes Restaurant.

Den einen Stern bekommt lediglich der Koch, da das Essen wirklich gut war. Darüber hinaus sind wir jedoch noch nie so unfreundlich behandelt worden wie in diesem Lokal. Weder begrüßt, noch verabschiedet, kein einziges Lächeln von der Kellnerin, kein Wort vom Kellner. Es war unfassbar. Dementsprechend unwohl haben wir uns auch gefühlt. Never ever!

Authentic Indian food is hard to get in Germany. This is an exception. Mutton vindaloo was phenomenal.

When it comes to curry we are very fussy and hands down this is the best Indian meal we have had in Europe so far! Highly recommend 👌🏽

Als einzelner Hast schon mit dem Eindruck empfangen…. ein ganzer Tisch nur für eine Person? Man kann sicher darüber streiten, doch das empfinden war halt so. Was sicher war, 85min für als Tandori zu Tode gegrilltes Fleisch. Vorheriges Nachfragen wurde mit „ das dauert“ beantwortet. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen, Qualität & Service sind einfach nur schlecht.

This place was a food paradise for me. Their recipe tasted better than many of the popular Indian restaurants in India. They did what they could for ambience but who cares about anything else when the food is so good.

Not a couple friendly restaurant. The owner was sitting just next to us with his gang of 5 people and they were drinking and abusing each other which was really uncomfortable for both of us. We just somehow eated our food and went away!! I felt the owner shouldn't do this just next to a couple. I would not recommend couples to visit this place because of this experience.

I had the most horrible experience at this restaurant, would not recommend to anyone to go there. The owner is very very ill mannered, he yelled and tried to push me because I complained about the most rediculas service we have received. We were sitting there for almost 2 hours and food wasn't served properly! The reservation was made in advance!! They even added dishes in our bill, which we haven't ordered. Go there on your own risk of humiliation.

One of the WORST experiences as a customer. Inconsiderate and RUDE staff. Food did not arrive even 2 hours of ordering. Reservations were made in advance! Owner treated the customer poorly and even shouted inappropriately at the customers. NEVER again!!

Horrible place to dine out. Host and service is extremely slow and arrogant. My friend tried to talk to them but owner started yelling at her at the top of his voice. He was insulting her and trying to push her away. If you dont want to spoil your evening and mood, avoid going to restaurant.

Indian restaurant run by Anil ji a very kind hearted man from Delhi. Actual taste of Indian recipes I got their and very reasonable prices. Two persons done dinner in only 20€ very cheap in Europe.

SEHR GUT - herausragende, authentische indische Küche!!! Der Chef, Herr Frederick, bietet seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten verlässlich gutes Essen und freundlichen Service! Wer bei der Tischreservierung erwähnt, dass er Mango liebt, dem wird die allerbeste Mango zum Dessert serviert, die ich jemals gegessen habe! Mir wurde das Restaurant vor langer Zeit von indischen Eiwanderern empfohlen - ich bin ihnen noch heute dankbar für diese Empfehlung!

Es war eines der besten indischen Gerichte, die ich in den letzten Jahren gegessen habe ❣️👌 Leckere Souce mit Lamm wird in speziellen Heizöfen serviert, dank der das Essen immer die richtige Temperatur hat. Sehr netter Besitzer ❣️🌈 der gerne mit seinen Gästen spricht. Freundlicher Service, sorgt dafür, dass alles in Ordnung ist, man braucht nichts. Wir würden diesen Ort gerne eines Tages besuchen, wenn wir wieder in Köln sind. It was one of the best indinesian dishes I have eaten last few years ❣️👌 Delicious souce with lamm is served in special heaters, thanks to it the food is always at the right temperature. Pathetic customer service, i visited this place yesterday with family and I wanted to wash hands before eating, there was no soap in the washroom, I requested for the soap and there was a short girl with high attitude and she rudely said- "No time"....we too din't waste our time there and came back without ordering....
