I’ve never had such bland food in my life. The curry was overpriced, and the portion size was disappointing. Completely not worth the money—wouldn’t recommend.

Today I ordered a chicken biriyani and some garlic naan cheese naan from Raja Rain Heidelberg. And I asked for a little more raita with my biriyani, no matter where in the world. I know Biriyani is served with Raita but they don't give me Raita with Biriyani, they charge 3.50 extra for Raita instead of the portion of Rita they serve with Biriyani. I'm ashamed of you. We spent a very nice evening with very well prepared Indian dishes. Not the usual one-size-fits-all, but exquisitely prepared. The boss serves himself. He is happy to give convincing advice. You can see how happy he is for his restaurant. Anytime, again and again!

Many years ago we often ate here and were very impressed. Fantastic food, great ambience and courteous service. We were happy to pay a little more for that. Unfortunately there is little left of it! The taste of the food was very poor. There were four of us here and if I had been the only one to feel this way, my conclusion would have been more positive. But we all felt the same way. A lot of things were rather "tasteless" (to put it kindly), a starter tasted more like dessert, the salt was probably missing, the fried vegetables couldn't be determined what they were, my main course was declared spicy and unfortunately didn't have the minimum Degree of tasteable spiciness 😕. The service was hit and miss. Either there wasn't a waiter visible or they appeared in a bunch. But only to serve a larger group of students who had reserved and were sitting at the next table. Hardly anyone felt responsible for our order and took 'quite' a lot of time to deliver the drinks we wanted. We also remembered the ambience as being significantly different. It could have been the run-up to Christmas. When eating, you should take your time and enjoy it and the food. Unfortunately that wasn't possible. Two larger groups with corresponding volume, the guests at the few remaining tables left quicker than expected... The prices were unfortunately excessive in relation to the taste. Although we would have liked to have paid more for consistent quality! Conclusion: really disappointing!

Always very good! Big portions and great taste. I've never had anything to complain about.

I've never been in a situation where I didn't enjoy Indian food! But this one is a disaster! The prices are so high, even if you get a big portion, it looks like a small one.

Food was cheap but unfortunately so was the taste.No ambiance in the restaurant and the owner is also not friendly. Sad because I was hungry and really looking forward to it.
