When the restaurant reopened it was very tasty but now there is a new boss it has really deteriorated - expensive food for a poor result

I would give many more stars. Today for our anniversary we dared to try Indian food. We were more than thrilled, the tastes of different spices brought our palate into ecstasy. We'll be visiting a lot more often from now on.

The service was friendly. The service was OK. The taste of the food was okay. We had the Eden Platter of Butter Chicken. In my opinion, 5 small pieces of chicken and a small bowl of vegetables were not enough for 2 people. The price-performance ratio was not right. For this reason only 3 ⭐️

My family and I have been coming to the restaurant since it opened. It was always worth it, it always tasted fantastic, and the price was always very reasonable. Anyone who eats Indian food here will always come back. Even our family and friends from outside keep insisting on coming here. Even the non-Indian dishes always tasted very good. However, I would highly recommend eating the Indian dishes!

We ate at the Taj Mahal for the first time based on a recommendation. It was very, very tasty 😋. We were served in a friendly and courteous manner, but not intrusively. When we come back to Alfeld, the Taj Mahal will be “our restaurant” where we stop off 😊

A small pot of jasmine tea for 6.90 euros is cheeky! Food was okay. I've had better naan bread.
