EDEN - das indische ParadiesRestaurant in Waldkirchen

Wir sind eher durch Zufall auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Das Essen war lecker und schön angerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und herzlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis könnte aus unserer Sicht etwas besser sein. Insgesamt hatten wir aber einen schönen Abend.

Haben essen zum abholen bestellt, es war super lecker, definitiv reichlich und ganz nettes Personal dort. Gerne wieder

Restaurant ist hundefreundlich. Wir waren zu zweit dort und haben Vorspeise (chicken pakoda), 2 Hauptspeisen (butter chicken und chicken tikka) und 2 Getränke gehabt und haben ~52€ bezahlt + Trinkgeld. Man kann in drei verschiedenen Schärfegraden bestellen. Ich habe mild ausgewählt und es war tatsächlich auch sehr mild, das hat mir gefallen. Der Kellner hat auch extra nochmal gefragt, um sicherzugehen, dass es nicht zu scharf ist👍🏻 Essen hat super geschmeckt, wir waren sehr zufrieden :)

Super nettes Personal/Eigentümer. Wirklich lecker gewürztes abwechslungsreiches Essen in Portionen zum gut satt werden. Und dazu noch einen schönen Innenraum

Das Eden ist mit Abstand seit langem das beste indische Restaurant das ich kenne. Die Einrichtung ist zauberhaft und der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer immer sehr herzlich. Wenn Inder - dann Eden ! 🤗♥️😋

Wir waren am Sonntag Abend dort, zwei weitere Tische waren besetzt. Wir haben bestellt und die Vorspeise, naan garlic brot und Gemüse pankora mit Dips war schön angerichtet und schmeckte auch lecker. Wir hatten grad mal probiert, kam auch schon die Hauptspeise mit der Begründung: Der Koch ist schon fertig. Wir haben darum gebeten, später zu servieren, wurde gemacht, aber das Tandoori war angebrannt. Service hat sich nicht um uns gekümmert, kann man sagen. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Ein fantastisches indisches Restaurant - und das im schönen Waldkirchen! Das Essen schmeckt unglaublich lecker & absolut authentisch – jedes Gericht überzeugt! ⭐️ Der Service ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle die lecker indisch essen wollen! 🍛

Tolles Essen, sehr zu empfehlen

Essen war bisher immer lecker. Aber zu teuer!!! In Regensburg im SWAGAT (ehemaliger Ratskeller) kostet der Tandoori Mix (sieh Bild anbei), eine Zusammenstellung aller Tandoori-Köstlichkeiten 19,90 € und im Eden in Waldkirchen EDEN Mixed Grill 25,50.

Essen war sehr gut, könnte ein bisschen mehr sein von der Soße aber dass ist Geschmackssache. Die Bedienung ist eine absolute Katastrophe, so was unfreundliches hab ich noch nie erlebt. Dass einzige Lokal wo man mit Gutscheinbuch hingeht und nicht getrennt bezahlen kann und die Rechnung fotografieren muss.

Schönes Ambiente und ganz leckeres Essen

Das Ambiente ist toll und das Essen war geschmacklich okay, aber völlig versagt hatte die Portionsgröße und der Service. Als die Grillplatte (für über 25 Euro) kam, war mein erster Gedanke: " Wo bleibt jetzt das Essen?" . Sieht eher aus wie eine Vorspeise. Wir sind nachher noch ins McDonald gefahren und haben uns satt gegessen. Bei Eden braucht man wohl 2-3 Hauptgerichte.... Der Service war von Anfang (Telefongespräch) bis Ende ( fehlende Verabschiedung) schlecht. Auf Fragen reagierte man unfreundlich. Als das Essen da war kam keiner mehr vorbei und fragte ob alles okay wäre. Nach dem Essen keine Frage ob es uns geschmeckt hat, usw.... Sorry, aber schlechter geht gar nicht. Ich habe mir ein paar Bewertungen auf Google durchgelesen. Interessant finde ich die Antworten vom Inhaber. Augenscheinlich ist laut ihm bei jeder schlechten Erfahrung der Gast schuld. Man kann also sagen, dass sich in naher Zukunft nie was ändern wird in EDEN. Wir kommen jedenfalls nie mehr und unsere Freunde raten wir auch davon ab.

Wir waren mit dem Gutscheinbuch dort. Auch ohne Reservierung konnten wir direkt einen Platz bekommen – sehr unkompliziert. Das Essen war lecker und gut gewürzt. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein schöner Besuch. Gerne wieder!

Ordered 38, got 83...and there was a piece of cream cheese in it. I'm usually satisfied, but this is a joke for €20. The order was to-go. Only at home did I realize it was the wrong dish. And according to the menu, it's a dish with grilled vegetables AND cream cheese. It was just a cube of cream cheese.

Delicious Indian food and a super-friendly owner. You immediately feel welcome. Highly recommended!

A very pleasant, calm and atmospheric place to relax.

Three of us ate here yesterday, and it was a very positive experience. A lovely, comfortable atmosphere, a very friendly owner who also provides service (contrary to other reviews, it was very prompt). Most importantly, the food was excellent, wonderfully seasoned with plenty of spices, and if you order it spicy, thankfully it's spicy. Compared to other Indian restaurants, all the dishes had their own unique flavors, not a one-size-fits-all approach. If you value variety, this is the place to be. A definite recommendation!

Unfortunately, my glass was dirty and the wrong drinks were brought. We asked in advance if card payments were possible, and the waitress said yes. When we wanted to pay, they told us it was cash only. We had to go back to the bank. The service left a lot to be desired. The food was okay.

Yesterday, on July 27, 2025, four of us had dinner at Eden. I had number 90, a grilled platter with various meats, fish, and shrimp. The price was €25.50. I got three pieces of meat the size of goulash and two shrimp in tomato sauce... Total disappointment

This was our first time at Eden! The ambiance was lovely, and the service was also very fast! What disappointed us a bit was the food! My husband had exactly four small pieces of meat in a pot; for €17, you'd expect more! And somehow, the four dishes all tasted very similar! Definitely very tomatoey! It wasn't ours! The naan bread is amazing Come and try it yourself 👍

Big praise to the chef. Very friendly and good service. Everything is clean, the food tastes fantastic and consistently good. It's cooked exclusively with fresh ingredients. I can definitely recommend it. Keep it up! It's great to have such a good Indian restaurant near me 👍

It was our first time here. I can only say, 10 out of 10! The food was delicious! We'll be back.

The service was friendly. The service was OK. The taste of the food was okay. We had the Eden Platter of Butter Chicken. In my opinion, 5 small pieces of chicken and a small bowl of vegetables were not enough for 2 people. The price-performance ratio was not right. For this reason only 3 ⭐️

So the food is delicious but the service is terrible. They looked at the table. But the plate wasn't cleared away. Only after 10 looks. They were too overwhelmed and not friendly. And if I were to go to a kebab shop I would get more for the price than with you. and when we asked if we wanted dessert, they said not and didn't ask if we wanted anything else, but just left. Never again, never again.

It was incredibly delicious 🤤 and you could choose from three spice levels for each dish. Mild was truly mild 👍 We once had a trio of chicken mango curry, spinach with cheese, and vegetable curry with naan and onion rings (€19.90), as well as chicken korma (€17.50). Pakoras were served for starters, and baked bananas with ice cream for dessert. Including drinks, it was a good €60 for two people. The ambiance is also very nice 👍 The staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

It was a very nice dinner. The staff came by every 15 minutes to ask if everything was okay, but this was not intrusive, but very polite. The food was very tasty, and we couldn't fault it.

The food tasted really delicious and the service was kind as well. We had our 2 year old son with us and they even have a space where kids can play including books, Lego and colouring stuff. He liked the food as well!!

The shop was full when we arrived and the waiter was visibly overwhelmed. We wanted to order a selection of vegetarian dishes and the answer was: “The chef doesn't have time!” - I've never heard anything like that before. Instead we should order one of the normal vegetarian dishes. A bit incomprehensible because all three of us ordered exactly the same dishes as in the selection. The food tasted okay, there are definitely better Indian restaurants but not in the Bavarian Forest.

Never in my 60 years of life has a boss come to me and asked if I was still hungry and then gave me a second helping for free, even though the portions were really generous. Unreserved recommendation. We were there twice and we'd love to go back when we're back in Waldkirchen.

I've ordered for pickup several times and everything has always been perfect. This time we had the gourmet block with us. From the moment he saw the block he was already annoyed. I have never experienced such an unfriendly boss. Were not allowed to order water because it apparently doesn't make enough profit for him. With the statement: "I need money too!" We weren't asked if we wanted the food to be slightly spicy, etc., but everyone else did. In the end he simply kept the remaining money without asking questions or whether it tasted good, etc. NEVER AGAIN!

The best Indian cuisine around! Fresh food is cooked here every day, something like that is rare to find these days. The service is really great, the food comes very quickly and you often get a little gift in the form of a drink or a small scoop of ice cream for free! Definitely recommended!

I can recommend the restaurant to everyone. It was the tastiest Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The staff were very friendly, the chef even brought the food personally. We felt very comfortable in the winter garden and would come back at any time. There is also a great selection for vegetarians! You can ask for vegan options according to the menu.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend yesterday and we had a great, cozy evening gentle musical sounds in the background. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. The food was once again fantastic and we didn't have to wait long until it was served. Bittu, the boss, is as always very warm and tries hard to make his guests feel comfortable. A big compliment also to the chef, who puts a smile on your face with his creations 😋. By the way, there is also a large selection of vegetarian dishes. The price-performance ratio is okay. If you like Indian food or just want to try it, the lovingly furnished restaurant 'Eden' is the right place for you. Thank you very much Bittu for the schnapps 😉

We had dinner there for our wedding anniversary. The ambience is enchanting, the service is very accommodating and the food is incredibly delicious! I have never had such fantastic Indian food in any other federal state!

Restaurant is in a quiet location and nicely decorated. However, service and food are just average. Waited 20 minutes for the drink order and food (2x butter chicken) came after over 45 minutes. Only 4 tables were occupied. Unfortunately that was too much coziness on the part of the waiter. Unfortunately there was neither papadam with dips beforehand nor mukhwas after the meal. This is normal for every Indian. Food was ok, but nothing more. But it's a matter of taste. I just expected more based on the reviews.

The very last store for us! Never again. We wanted to have lunch there today but via our voucher book. When we said we had the voucher book, he grimaced and left and never came back. We had waited at least 15 minutes and wanted to order but no one came. Not even anything to drink. The shop was pretty empty. 1 table with 4 people and one with 2. That's it! No overwhelm. Why do they let themselves be entered into a voucher book if they don't want to! The very last thing for us!!!

One of my favorite restaurants. Food tastes impressive. You can tell that attention is paid to quality here. The service is above average. Friendliness and customer satisfaction come first. When I recently ordered food to go and picked it up, I saw at home that as a small gift I had been packed with naan bread with 3 different dips and no charge was made. These days you have to find somewhere to find this friendliness towards guests! Big praise!

We ate very well twice, we were always alone in the restaurant, no other guests. Addendum, opening times are incorrect. Tuesday lunchtime should be open from 11:30 a.m. It was closed shortly after 12 p.m. and a gentleman told us this in an unfriendly manner at the door in English.

Super delicious food and nice atmosphere!! Taking a dog wasn't a problem. We had to wait a bit because several tables arrived at the same time, but the cellar was very nice and tried hard. We would come again if it wasn't just a vacation trip. Menu on the homepage is current.

Das Restaurant ist farbenfroh und freundlich eingerichtet. Es gibt sogar Kindergerichte und ein Spielzimmer. Der einzige Nachteil sind die Spielzeugautomaten daneben. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr geschmeckt. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich, auch den Kindern gegenüber.

Sehr sehr gutes Essen! Kommen nun schon seit mehreren Monaten hier her, werden jedoch nie enttäuscht. Wohlfühlambiente und gutes Essen machen jeden Besuch wertvoll. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist auch super :) Können wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Auch für Vegetarier und Veganer geeignet.
