Die besten Restaurants mit Gyrosrestaurant Essen in Aachen

We were in Aachen for a few days. We searched on Google for a Greek location near the train station and found it here. We can only confirm the good reviews. The service was great and the food was really tasty. The ambience is simple but okay, it's a grill station and not a restaurant.

Food is good and tasty, unfortunately a bit expensive.

I got grill plates. Absolutely delicious and good meat. I can only recommend Zacharias.

Actually quite ok, but (for me) not outstanding. I was there with my son and we each ate a pita gyro and we had a cola and a wheat beer. I then ordered a pita to take away and was surprised at the price in the end. I paid a whopping €23.80 for 3 pita gyros, 1 cola and 1 wheat beer.

Since the new owners came in it's just sad... My very brief first experience with the new owners: 1. it already starts with the opening times....just as the mood takes you, apparently, because despite it being stated on the internet that they are open, the shop is closed and the times are a joke compared to before! 2. I had to wait an hour until I got my Pitagyros even though there was nothing going on!!! As long as I didn't even have to wait at the old owners' place where the waiting crowd was up to 100 meters long!!! 3. When my order was finally served, I quickly realized that despite being told that there shouldn't be any tzatziki on the gyro, that's exactly what it came with!! Okay, mistakes can happen, but when I mentioned the mistake and asked for a new pita, they argued endlessly with me that I supposedly ordered that way and they couldn't change it! Wtf?! You wouldn't have experienced anything like that with Stavros in your life, I was embarrassed! He became increasingly unfriendly and was unwilling to show insight and apologize and redo the order! All in all MY conclusion, entrepreneurial talent and thinking equals 0, social behavior equals 0, ability to take criticism and the surroundings equals 0.0 as you can clearly read in some of the comments here. 4. Flair... you can't think of it anymore, you used to go there with joy, just because of the friendly and extremely hard-working ex-owners with whom you didn't have a conversation every now and then, now it's just a snack bar where you get blamed for bad service Paid extremely high! 5. Will I ever go again?! No! Because it almost brings me to tears what has become of Zacharias! And to the owners, please let your answer stick, you can already imagine what kind of answer will come, namely that I should look for another snack bar, etc. Which, by the way, is also very...well, everyone can imagine! Many thanks to Desphina and Stavros for the wonderful times, you will always remain in our hearts for your warm and hard-working nature and the exquisite service and performance that was offered!

Open until 9:30 p.m. Standing in front of the locked door at 9:15 p.m. and seeing how cleaning was already going on inside. I feel annoyed as a customer.

Das Essen war lecker, nur hat die vegane Mayo, die in so gut wie allen veganen Speisen verwendet wird, gefehlt und musst durch Ketchup ersetzt werden - im Pita nicht so toll. Obwohl kaum Kundschaft anwesend war, waren die Tische nicht geputzt, alles voller Krümel/ Sauce und die Angestellte kam uns abweisend und eher unfreundlich vor.

We came here for the first time after an event and were pleasantly surprised. The tavern is simply furnished, but there is certainly room for improvement in the ambience. But the food makes up for it - the gyros are some of the best gyros I've eaten in Aachen and the surrounding area and the zazkiki is a blast. In addition, the service was quick and very friendly - we would be happy to come back.

I go to the "Oase" several times a month. Not only are the people there very nice and helpful, but (most importantly) the food tastes good too. Gyros are really great. In all variations. Also delivers.

We have ordered from Gyros Grill Aachen several times so far and we have a very clear recommendation! If you really want authentic Greek food, you definitely go there! There is no comparable Greek shop in Aachen! 🥰 Our absolute recommendation are the souvlaki 🥰 Σαν στην Ελλάδα, ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ για Τον πάρα πολύ νόστιμο. φαγητό! ♥️

Schnitzel meat was not okay. Musty taste, spit it out. Inedible. I let it go back and only ate fries and salad. When paying we were told we had deducted 3 eu - how generous - never again!!!

The Schnitzel Hawaii was okay, but unfortunately not really convincing. The meat was edible, but the taste was rather disappointing. It could have been juicier. The sauce was quite rich and overpowered the taste a bit. Unfortunately, the breading stuck to the aluminum foil, which made eating difficult. Unfortunately the fries were too salty. Overall it wasn't what I expected for the price.

Just don't order here! How the 5-star reviews came about is a mystery to me. Prices are constantly rising, but quality is falling. Unfortunately I only ever ordered via Lieferando, so I didn't know what the inside of the store looked like. According to reviews here, you should send the health department there unannounced.
