The best thing you can eat there are the Ruma baguettes! Super good short, I think it costs 6.50 and you'll be super full!! A family atmosphere, friendly demeanor of the owners. Really recommended!!

We took a tour to Detmold and were hungry, so we chose DasElea. It was 1 p.m. and at first we were ignored. When we finally ordered, the drinks arrived after 10 minutes, then nothing happened. I have to say that it wasn't full!!! After exactly 46 minutes the waiter came to tell us that they didn't have any Giros anymore, but we could order something else... sure and when will that come or the announcement that it's probably over too... We paid for our drinks and left. This is what service looks like?!

Everything freshly prepared. The salad is crisp and very fresh with a marinade of olives, lemon and oregano. The meat from the grill is always cooked to perfection. We have never been disappointed. An honest restaurant without a lot of frills, but everything is fresh. Rustic traditional Greek cuisine. The furnishings are solid and functional. The table is thoroughly cleaned after each change of guests. This is about good food. Thank you for the good quality!

Abzocke!!! Nach einem schönen Essen kam der Schock! Nach der Bitte um die Rechnung wurden wir gefragt, wie wir bezahlen möchten. Wir bezahlten bar. Da kam die Rechnung mit dem Hinweis des Kellners, dass ja die MwSt erhöht wurde. Zuvor kannten wir nur die Preise aus der Karte und wurden auch auf nichts anderes hingewiesen. Die Getränke waren moderat erhöht, die Vorspeisen um 25-30% und die Hauptspeisen blieben gleich, sodass man auf eine Runde Summe auf der Rechnung kam. Wir waren wie geschockt und haben mit Trinkgeld bezahlt. Angemerkt sei noch, dass wir alleine im Gastraum waren. Bei Freunden, die kurz zuvor bei vollem Gastraum bar gezahlt hatten, galten die Preise der Karte. Also echt miese Masche, wir sind bedient! Die Preise aus der Karte hätten wir gerne bezahlt, selbstverständlich! Beim bezahlen wurden jedoch höhere Preise verlangt, als in der Karte ausgewiesen waren.

Die beste "Pommesbude" in Duisburg! Der Gyros schmeckt wie in Griechenland und ist selbst gemacht, der Tsaztziki ist der beste und die Pommes auch. Immer frische Salate und die Familie (Besitzerinen) sind ebenfalls immer sehr nett! Ich bin seit 35 Jahren Kunde...

The food is delicious. We were there with a group and were spread across several areas and several tables. Totally not nice when you see each other again after years. Service was chaotic. some had their food before others had their drink. Ultimately the food was delicious but I still don't know how far they had to travel to hunt, butcher and prepare. If you have a lot of time and patience as a group, sure. They did their best. It was just a bit busy and not prepared for such a large group that day. (Everyone has a bad day sometimes 😇) You can definitely do it with other preparation. Otherwise really recommended for a delicious, cozy dinner.

When you eat there it is cold, the door is open and when you ask if you can close the door there is a draft of fresh air.
