Athen-Grill in Ratingen

A very nice family who clearly love their work. Always open to solutions and very accommodating. The food is fresh and homemade, which is why it's always very popular and sometimes results in longer delivery times. We especially love the cucumber and coleslaw!

I ordered food and after 45 minutes I asked where the delivery was. They said it was going out now. After another 40 minutes I called again to ask where the food was and they said it would be out of the oven in 10 minutes. My response was, "Stop arguing, then the food will stay here," and hang up. They hung up. Never again, I'd rather starve.

I tried to order and hung up. After a few years, never again. There's also a good Greek restaurant in Erkrath. Totally unfriendly, please avoid. The place is awful, as other people have also noted. No go!!!!! Anyone who treats customers like that.

9.50 euros for filled pizza rolls 😂 I really wonder where this is all heading.

Super Pizza, Super Gyros, Super Service!

In this snack bar, customers are loudly shouting back and forth from a table in front of the counter about how expensive this or that is via telephone orders... It seems as if the people who take the telephone orders don't know the prices of the individual products! Hence the loud shouting back and forth. Which was very unpleasant for us as guests there! And what my colleague noticed immediately, but he waited until I started eating... Since he had already eaten his Jägerwurst with fries and mayo 2-3 times, he asked me... And? How do you like it? I said that I didn't know the taste of hunter's sauce! And I said I think there's a spice in the sauce that I don't know! Because it tasted slightly sour! Then my colleague said… Yes Bingo, I think the same thing too! However, he said that he strongly believes that the hunter's sauce had a bite! That's what they say in the Ruhr area! Overall, we weren't impressed with this snack! And because the loud discussions didn't stop, we didn't address the topic of the hunter's sauce!

The food is actually quite tasty, but unfortunately the toppings are too heavy. The owners should stop arguing in front of customers.

We very much regret having had a less positive experience in this restaurant. While we appreciated the quality of the food and the taste was convincing, we were unfortunately disappointed with Ms. Prasas' behavior and attitude. It happened repeatedly that we as guests were not served, even though we ordered politely and even left regular tips. We also noticed that legitimate concerns from guests were met with little understanding and a quick, irritable reaction, which negatively affected the atmosphere for everyone involved. We find it particularly regrettable that Mr. Prasas apparently suffers from this management style, which may have a negative impact on the working atmosphere. These experiences raise questions about fairness and the treatment of guests and employees in this company. Despite the good quality of the food, we are unable to recommend this restaurant. However, we hope that there will be improvements in the future - both in Ms. Prasas' service and in our internal interactions.

The food is always very tasty. We like pizza and filled pizza rolls. We can recommend both. The other offerings are also impressive, try the shish kebab with fries, very good. Orders with delivery also work reliably. You can also eat on site, tables available inside, snack bar atmosphere.

Food is great, but if the opening times are posted on the door as 11:30 a.m. then it should also be open at 11:37 a.m. and not be locked and appear deserted. That's why only 3 stars because I now have to drive further to find something to eat somewhere else.

I'm a big fan of a pizza with gyros, very tasty and also tastes great cold if you want to save some for the next day. In terms of atmosphere, it's more of a snack bar, but it's clean and you can sit comfortably at a table. There is the option to have the items delivered or picked up

The best pizza in Ratingen Homberg and also the only one. From fresh grill dishes to pizza to the very good home-made burger with its very tasty special sauce. The prices are reasonable and it always tastes good. The owner is extremely friendly and always open to a nice conversation. A traditional Homberg family-run shop

Einfach lecker. Von Gyros bis Pizza alles dabei was man abends so gerne isst. Gyros, Pommes, Zwiebeln, Mayo und Taziki... Perfekt.

Wieso 5 Punkte? Weil die Inhaber so freundlich sind. Weil es so tolle Salate gibt. Weil sämtliche Produkte qualitativ in Ordnung sind, und zwar: Immer! Weil der ganze "Laden" blitzsauber geführt wird!

Mein Gyros war bisher immer bestens. Die Inhaber immer freundlich. Manch griechischen Restaurant würde die Zubereitung und Qualität gut stehen.

sehr leckeres essen, der burger ist immer Warum und lecker, als auch die Gyros -, Margherita - und auch die Hawaiipizza überzeugen sehr. Top Laden und der Retter in der Not, wenn man hunger hat.

Echt lecker, frische salate mit liebe gemacht.

Irgendwie ein bisschen "schmuddelig! Aber das Essen ist gut und den Grill gibt es schon ewig, muss also gut sein. Vielleicht sollte sich das Personal (also die Inhaber) mal einen Arbeitskittel überziehen. das wirkt dann hygienischer.

Hier schmeckt alles richtig gut. Das einzige was man sagen kann ist, wenn viel los ist dann schmeckt man es. Sind auch nur Menschen. Ansonsten super. Nicht ohne Grund muss man schon 60 Minuten warten. Deshalb immer schön im voraus planen 😁
