Restaurant Mykonos in Neuss

We visited Nico's for the second time in one week...the food was delicious...the beer was fresh from the tap...everything was great! Highly recommended!

We're regulars here. Every year we cycle past here on our way to Schloss Dyck and take a break. The beer garden is great; not everything is perfect, but it's still highly recommended. We always enjoy coming back!

Unfortunately, we had to adjust our 5-star rating. We used to go to this restaurant at least once a week; €60-70 per visit is easily extrapolated to annual sales. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined over the years. The owner's wife in the kitchen was brilliant; we personally thanked her for the great food. The daughters worked in the service department, super friendly and attentive. But none of these people work at the Mykonos restaurant anymore. Why is that? Today, among other things, we ordered tzatziki as an appetizer with the note to please toast the bread – we specifically pointed this out twice – as was usually the case in the past, without asking. The bread was delivered cold anyway, never having seen the grill. Only when we inquired did we get the answer: No room on the grill right now. It's great how you can deliberately ignore your guests. It's a shame when you can't get the same quality you're used to at home in a restaurant – you really don't need to go out at all... In principle, I would even understand that. Even though only three tables were occupied in the entire restaurant, our order was clear: toasted bread – we at least expected a response that this wasn't possible at the moment – ​​in which case we wouldn't order the tzatziki – no problem. But that doesn't seem to work either... as expected, the chef is standing at the table and asks what he can do. Of course, he would have grilled the bread. Unfortunately... this whole thing has happened many times now. We're fed up with the owner's moody behavior and paid for the first two drinks, left the first free ouzo untouched, and left. The Greek snack bar nearby is vastly better and much friendlier; we'd rather pay for the ouzo but get what we ordered. One more thing to mention: The outdoor area is now only 50% of what it used to be; instead, two cars are parked there. If you've always wanted to eat next to a car, this is the place for you; the Greek atmosphere is just different. It's not for us. Today was definitely our last visit.

Unfortunately, things have declined considerably. We were there today for the first time in a while. We ordered tzatziki with grilled bread and were served cold bread without a comment. After complaining, we were told it wasn't possible at the moment—the grill was full. With fewer than 10 guests, it's simply not possible. Apparently, they don't need satisfied customers. The ambiance is still showing its age, which was acceptable due to the family atmosphere. We used to be regular customers, but we probably won't be back. It's a shame...

Delicious food and a great price. If we lived closer, we'd go every week.

We were regulars at the first location across from the church because the food was very good. But then we were accused of leaving the restaurant without paying, and a guest recorded it on video. After we expressed that we would like to see the video as evidence and that we were welcome to call the police as requested by the owner, they quickly dismissed it, saying that it wasn't possible right now, etc. This led us, as regulars who had always been there, enjoyed eating there, and stopped by, to avoid this restaurant, partly because we were lost back then. I don't know what it's like today. The chef is apparently the same as he was back then, so I won't say anything more about that. I hope the quality of the food is still good.

We were on the nearby Museum Island today and stopped here on the way back to refuel. The souvlaki reminded us almost exactly of our visit to Athens. Juicy and with that magical spice that makes even fries heavenly. There wasn't any Greek beer, but I had to drive anyway ;)

The average food was okay for the price. Unfortunately, the chef was very unfriendly, arrogant, and ultimately unprofessional. A guest's goal is not just good food, but also to have a good time and feel comfortable. This was definitely not the case. We will certainly never go there again.

Offering tzatziki, gyros and ouzo does not make a Greek restaurant. There is no pita bread and, for example, no Greek beer. No Alfa, no myth, no fix, no Mamos. And you really don't need hunter's sauce with the Greek. Unfortunately the pork wasn't cooked through and was still a bit red. School grades 4- to 5+. We will definitely not be coming back again. Too bad.

Friendly team, courteous and attentive Great food, pleasant atmosphere

Rating between 4 and 5 stars for a simple restaurant in a town near Düsseldorf. We liked the service and the way of cooking, which made the lunch truly enjoyable.

Can you go there...on a Sunday when everything else is closed!! 😊

Food is always okay, but never particularly outstanding. The side salad could desperately use a dressing. Service and prices are top. The ambience and furnishings are outdated and are neither comfortable nor contemporary. Parking is almost impossible, you have to be lucky! Great for a solid dinner in the village, but there are better locations for special evenings.

We are always thrilled with “our Greek”, the food is very tasty and the friendly, familiar service is always a reason to come back. Keep it up 👍😉

Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Das Essen war ok, aber geht sicherlich auch besser. Es wurde sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet und auch bei den Getränken verloren die Kellner den Überblick.

Für einen schönen spontanen Abend, genau das richtige. Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung und einen schnuckeligen Außenbereich

Es war sehr lecker, leider auch etwas laut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Wartezeit aufs Essen war in Ordnung.

Ein Besuch im Mykonos ist ein bisschen wie Urlaub in Griechenland. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service ist super. Auf Extrawünsche wird freundlich eingegangen. Mit Kindern ist man hier willkommen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Man kann im Hof draußen sitzen. Ich hatte einen Grillteller,war eine große Portion. Beilagensalat dürftig. Nette Bedienung.

War mit meiner Freundin spontan hier essen und was soll man sagen die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen war frisch und hausgemacht sehr lecker und nicht das letzte Mal!

Große Auswahl an Speisen, alles schmackhaft und lecker. Diverse Biersorten kühl verfügbar. Personal freundlich und nett. Ein Stern Abzug wegen des äußeren Erscheinungsbild.

Sehr gut gespeist, freundliche Bedienung, so muss es sein! Parken etwas schwierig, aber man muss ja nicht unbedingt mit dem Auto dorthin fahren.

Ein Restaurant zwar vielleicht nicht ganz so typisch griechisch eingerichtet dafür erstens: Essen wirklich gut bis sehr gut. Zweitens: Bedienung immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant wird von einer griechischen Familie liebevoll geführt.

Waren jetzt schon mehrmals hier.Immer sehr freundliche bedienung und egal was wir probierten, von Oktopuss vom Grill über Kalamari oder Steak alles sehr lecker.Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Wir waren etwas später zu Mittag dort (ca. 14h) Das Restaurant war ziemlich leer bereits .. wir waren zu viert mit Kinder und waren etwas lauter als die anderen Gäste .zum glück lief griechische Musik :-D. Die Bedienung war top - Schnell, freundlich und wirklich zuvorkommend. Das Essen ? genauso wie wir es uns von einem Griechen vorstellen. Frisch und lecker.. hatten eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte (zu empfehlen ab 2 Personen) und im Anschluss gegrilltes und ein lecker Dessert. Jeder von uns hatte noch zwei getränke sowie einen Espresso .. zusammen lagen wir bei 84€ .. sprich 21€ pro Kopf für viel Essen (haben einiges noch mitgenommen) und trinken. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist für uns damit überragend.

Das Fleisch war saftig und die Pommes knusprig. Portionen sind angemessen groß. Kann unbegrenzt weiterempfohlen werde. Sehr lecker!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und direkt mit der ganzen Familie inkl. kleine Kinder. Da wir sehr früh waren, war das Restaurant noch sehr leer, aber sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet. Lediglich durch die doch sehr helle Beleuchtung war es eher etwas ungemütlich, aber ist vielleicht nur persönliches empfinden. Die Bedienung war nett, eher zurückhaltend, ein bisschen dörflich. Das Essen kam zügig und war sehr ordentlich angerichtet, große Portion und geschmacklich wirklich gut. Auch Sonderwünsche für die Kinder wurden erfüllt, sehr gut!

Das Restaurant Mykonos befindet sich schon seit ca. 3 Jahren nicht mehr auf der Hauptstr. 12 sondern auf der Hauptstr. 80. Das ist unser Grieche in Neuss-Holzheim. Immer freundlich und mit den ersten Getränken wird auch immer die "Medizin" mitgeliefert (Ouzo).
