Today we spontaneously went to the Greek restaurant around the corner. (Spontaneous in the area) I can only agree with the previous speakers! The restaurant really has a great atmosphere and the innkeeper is a real original ☺️ The food is really tasty, the meat is juicy and the beer is soothing. I would have a Troy plate. Highly recommended. My friend the lamb chops. 5 pieces of meat plus lots of side dishes! Whenever I'm in the area, I'll always take a detour. I like to take a detour for such a great atmosphere. The service could be a little warmer at the end. I love a hearty Ruhrpott restaurant but starting from a tip and then just calling to wish you a nice evening is marginally better. I'd still like to come back! As long as you can support such restaurants, you should do it! Much better than any chain...

Now they also have a really delicious gyro pita. It tastes delicious. I'm thrilled.

Very tasty dishes and a lovely atmosphere. The quality for the price is almost unbeatable.

Finally a Christian, good Greek snack again, instead of the perceived flood of kebab shops with what we call "lyre music in the background. To lick your fingers! Gyros, how I missed you... ❤️

Where do we start, where do we end? - Service, doesn't understand the order, forgets things that are then charged later. In principle, food is always from the left. Doesn't pour water or wine independently, just puts glasses on the table and on the wrong side. No demand for desserts or anything similar. Ouzo doesn't help either. - Food quality is simply subpar, dry, tough, bad. The taste is probably 20 to 30 years behind, especially in the salad alone. - Ambiance... phew... "tasteless" including dirty walls and strange chairs. Thanks for probably the worst meal in the last 5 years

After many years we went to the Poseidon restaurant for dinner again. Visually not much has changed and unfortunately the food was rather average. We were hoping for a little more, what a shame!

A family restaurant in the heart of Bockum-Hövel. The food is prepared with love and very tasty. The service is very friendly and takes care of your physical well-being. The ambience is more typical of the country (Greece) and therefore only offers a limited form of cosiness.
