The food was really not good and the service was very unfriendly. We're definitely not coming back!

Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly and didn't respond to the order at all and simply delivered food that you didn't want. Not recommended at all. The reason was that it's Sunday and there's a lot to do so you can't respond to the guests' wishes

Today, my partner, my parents and I were eating in the restaurant Personally, I can only recommend the Athos restaurant, it is one of the best Greek restaurants in Witten. As a starter I had Tiganita (menu number 39, price €6.50), consisting of eggplant and zucchini slices with tzatziki, garlic and oil. A very tasty appetizer in my opinion. Then there was the salad (originally with tomatoes, but I ordered it without), this was also very tasty and, above all, large. This salad was served with my main course Bifteki Spezial (number 55 and a price of €15.50). It was served in a bowl and looked delicious. The way it looked was how it tasted. Everything harmonized and nothing outweighed the taste, which I personally found very good. There were also fries, although there was a bit too much salt, but that's complaining at a high level that other restaurants could take as an example. Both the waitress and the owner are very warm, courteous and polite, plus of course a pinch of friendly humor that rounds off the already existing beautiful ambience. All in all, I can only give 5 stars and recommend a meal, but please reserve in advance, it's better and you're just on the safe side.

We were immediately welcomed in a very friendly manner. The drinks and food were with us very quickly and the food was very tasty. Since the food is a little different every time (but still tastes really good), you can assume that no convenience goods are used here. Our visit was rounded off with an Uzo at the reception and after the meal. We will recommend it to others and hope that the Athos restaurant lasts.

The food was rich and good. There is a functional outdoor area and enough parking spaces directly at the house.

Were there at 5:15 p.m. When the food came, we immediately went back because the meat was cold. What a surprise, when the plate came back to the table, everything was hot (including the plate), unfortunately from the microwave. From where I know this? The meat I cut was still on the plate the way I handed it over. Meat was hot, but also dry. Fresh fries on it, that's it. Sorry, an ouzu doesn't do anything good either.

Athos in Haus Maise is fine. The baked goat cheese with wild herbs was manageable. The bifteki was good. I find it interesting that you can smoke cigars in the restaurant. You just have to have your birthday and be a regular at MC FIt then everything is possible here. So I'd rather continue to go to Athos on Ardeystrasse...

A typical Greek with delicious food, great service (Sotto is simply the best) and a really good price-performance ratio! You just feel comfortable!

We've been there several times and so far we've always been satisfied. The ambience is very tasteful. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious but unfortunately only lukewarm and we waited a long time for it. Very unfortunate.

We were there with 7 guests and I had STIFADO (Greek lamb goulash) from the daily menu. We recommend! Everyone else was also very satisfied. Delicious food, pleasant surroundings, I'll definitely come back to eat again.

Was there with my girlfriend a few days ago, on the recommendation of a friend. The service was very friendly and accommodating. In terms of price, it is very pleasant considering local conditions. I had the gyros special and my friend had the pork fillet filled with spinach. I have rarely eaten so well in such a “little side shop”. I would have preferred to take a protein with me, but I was completely full and therefore probably satisfied. Whenever I'm in Witten again, I'll gobble up this gyro with friends again. Only recommended.

Very tasty, friendly and relaxed service. We were satisfied and had a lot of fun with our 17 guests.

The food cannot be rated higher than “average”, the portion size is normal, and the prices are moderate. Service doesn't deserve a star because it's just bad. The waiter's 1980s sayings didn't help either. You don't have to be arrogant about noting anything down because you can remember everything and then most of it was forgotten or brought to the table incorrectly; this applies to both the food and the drinks. If you have to wait so long for the side dishes that the meat is now cold or eaten because you don't want to eat it cold, that is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this house is not worth another visit.

Es ist ein großer Raum in denn die Gästetische stehen, leider sehr laut. Es war alles Sauber. Die Qualität des Essen ist mittelmäßig, entspricht aber denn Preis. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Für Leute die gerne Griechisch essen gehen, kann man dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Der Service ist schnell und zuvorkommend. Selbst wenn das Lokal voll ist, sind die Wartezeiten kurz und das Essen gewohnt lecker und gut angerichtet. Beim Ambiente gebe ich drei Sterne, da das Lokal dort definitiv noch Luft nach oben hat und es durch das Inventar doch eher dunkel wirkt und auch liebevoller eingerichtet werden könnte. Allerdings möchte ich klarstellen, daß es sauber und ordentlich im Lokal ist.

Gut bürgerliche griechische Küche, sehr nettes und gewandtes Personal. Parkplätze sind etwas rar.
