Everything was fine so far. I found the price-performance ratio to be rather acceptable; the suvlaki skewer, for example, was rather mediocre, both in terms of taste and portion size. The gyros were delicious, the salad was tasty, and the other side dishes were okay. The reservation via the website worked, but there was no confirmation. I find that strange because you don't know if you've made a reservation or not.

We were in Kassel today and decided on the restaurant because of the good reviews. Which turned out to be a mistake. The service is absolutely great and really nice!!! The salad plate is really top notch. The main course (grill plate 2 no. 66) is an absolute disaster! We often go to a Greek restaurant, the first thing that was missing was the rice ball, both sauces were missing... I don't know if that's supposed to be the case ;(. But the meatball was a horror, the thing is so flattened and doesn't really taste really hard and unseasoned. The gyros was so hard and cooked through, I thought I had chips in my mouth, I've never eaten gyros that hard. The drink was really great, as I said, and the service too. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to it.

We decided at short notice on a Friday evening (11/30/24) to follow a recommendation. After a quick call we were able to reserve a table without any problem. We were warmly welcomed by the entire staff and shown to our reserved table. The restaurant was well filled and the waiters were all extremely courteous. The drinks and food offer excellent value for money. The gyros plate is particularly recommended: super tender meat and an extremely tasty tzatziki. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

I ate at the Taverne restaurant in Kassel today with a good friend, and I was absolutely thrilled! The food was not only delicious and freshly prepared, but also lovingly presented. I would especially like to mention our employee, Hanoun; he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. His open manner and excellent communication made our visit even more enjoyable. We felt truly welcome. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening; I will definitely be back!

One of our favorite restaurants. Top quality, well prepared. Excellent selection of food, drinks and various wines and spirits. Upscale standards in a great, well-kept atmosphere. On warm days, a huge terrace invites you to stay. Located directly on the banks of the Fulda, you have a great view when sitting outside. Unfortunately, parking is a bit difficult at Auerdamm so you should always plan a short walk.

I had dinner here a few months ago. The food was ok. Ambiance, well, is more like a snack bar. The owners were very nice. Personally, I would prefer to go to a different restaurant next time.
