10/20/25 My birthday. I'll probably never forget this birthday dinner. We country folk have a completely different idea of ​​"a Greek." For us, this was a "fine Greek." Here, you'll find dishes on the menu we've never heard of. Truffle dishes aren't available anywhere at home. So we had the truffle fries as a starter and truffle pasta for the main course. The fries seem to be homemade. The absolute bomb!!!! My husband isn't quite so brave, so he had the classic gyro. It was not only extremely delicious, but a huge portion. Anyone who thinks you won't get full here is seriously mistaken. Fresh, DELICIOUS bread awaits you as a "greeting from the kitchen." Olive oil and salt are served on the table. Yummy! The service is attentive, friendly, and prompt. The ambiance is very chic and very carefully chosen. We not only recommend this restaurant, but if you're in Kassel, you MUST come here! ;-)

Nice restaurant, not too loud, and the waitress with the wide glasses was very friendly and competent. The food was of really good quality. Everything was freshly prepared. However, it's not good value for money for Kassel; 220g fillet for €44 is a hefty price tag. The dishes should be a bit cheaper, then it would be justified. €8 for feta cream is also a bit high in my opinion. It's a shame that they don't offer ouzo or espresso after the meal, especially if you've spent €100-200, it would have been a nice gesture from the restaurant. Otherwise, I have nothing to complain about.

The design of this glass is not random; every detail serves a specific function. The narrow shape concentrates the aromas of anise and other herbs in the ouzo and directs them directly to the nose, ensuring a full aromatic experience with every sip. More importantly, this narrow shape keeps the drinker's nose out of the glass, preventing the inhalation of harsh alcohol vapors that could irritate the throat and impair the enjoyment. We were there on a Friday and didn't have a reservation. We were lucky and still got a seat on the packed and beautiful terrace. A visit there feels like a mini-vacation in Greece. The service and the chef were very quick and attentive, but never intrusive. We had three courses, an aperitif, and a bottle of wine. To finish, we were treated to a glass of ouzo on the house. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I thought the restaurant was totally overpriced. For the main course I had fish soup, which was specifically ordered as the main course and what can I say, without exaggerating, it was about 5 spoons of soup. Sorry, no one will get fed up with it. You should be a little full with the main course meal... or it shouldn't be declared a main course. I cannot recommend the restaurant and would not go there again.

We had reserved a table and were seated on the covered terrace. When it's full, the noise level is very high and the ventilation is inadequate. The service was quick, the food and quality was good. The grill plate (meat, fries and Aivar) could also have been from Croatia, salad garnish or Zatizki out of place. The moussaka was also placed naked on a plate. It was okay, a little too salty but that's a matter of taste. Personally, we prefer restaurants that still retain some of their originality.

The prices are of course different than those of other Greeks. I assume that the very clear menu only contains freshly prepared dishes. That has its price. You just have to know that if you pay 12 euros for two mini zucchini pancakes, freshly prepared and not thawed, as a starter. What was much more irritating was the fact that we were sitting at a table for two in the "blind spot" for the service and every attempt to contact us required several violent waves and shouts before our request was finally acknowledged. The attention was clearly on the tables with larger groups, who were certainly more satisfied with the service. In upscale restaurants, you don't expect that the used cutlery will be put back on the napkin after the starter so that it can be used again for the main course. The fact that the table next to us was being cleaned with a heavy spray of cleaning agent while we were eating, and we as guests were at the same time, was rather detrimental to the olfactory experience of the dinner. The taste of the food was decent. In the end, the gastronomic demands and the reality we experienced were too far apart for us.

Staff unfriendly and arrogant, food simply tasteless, didn't taste like anything! It's a shame...but you lost me as a paying guest, because it was like that again and again!

We were just in Kurhessen Sauna, just around the corner. Afterwards we landed hungry in Ilsyssia. I wanted my standard gyros with fries, but they don't have gyros. But the alternatives were also very tasty. The staff was very friendly, even shortly before closing. Food great. People friendly. Ambiently pleasing. We really enjoyed our visit.

Total Überzogene Preise. Das erste mal im Leben das ich beim Griechen nicht satt geworden bin und einfach Überzogene Preise, 83.50 € bezahlt für ein Niveau, was max. 30 € entspricht. Wirklich noch nie si schlecht gegessen und wir gehen mindestens 2x im Monat Essen.

Ich habe selten so ausgezeichnet und lecker gegessen und auch der Service war herausragend - was meines Erachtens die gehobenen Preise durchaus rechtfertigt. Einzig die ungünstige Akkustik zumindest im Anbau war ein kleiner Nachteil für unseren ansonst zutiefst zufriedenstellenden Aufenthalt...

Umso enttäuschter war ich bei meinem letzten Besuch am 1.11.: Die ehemals gemütliche Bestuhlung im Wintergarten wurde durch platzsparende Plastikstühle ersetzt. Der griechische Bauernsalat (bisher mit kleinen Gurken, Oliven, Kapern und gerösteten Brotstückchen eine Delikatesse) war ein Aller-Welts-Salat - zum selben Preis. Und die Bedienung war freundlich, aber unprofessionell. Schade.

We were in this "Greek" restaurant on September 29th, 2024. Personally, we were disappointed because we imagine something different when we think of a Greek restaurant. The selection of Greek dishes didn't convince us.

Six of us were there for dinner as part of a business trip. The ambience is modern, yet cozy, with a pleasant lighting concept. The service in general, Agnes in particular, is very attentive, fast and friendly. We felt very comfortable! The food is top quality, delicious and worth every cent! Clear recommendation!

Die Location ist wirklich sehr schön und die Toiletten sind sehr schön dekoriert. Sie haben einen zweiten Stock und einen Art Wintergarten. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich. Sie sind selbst auf extra Wünsche eingegangen. Ich habe mir die Trüffelpasta ohne Trüffel bestellt und der Chef hat nochmal drauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass in dem Gericht Trüffelöl ist. Er hat den Vorschlage gemacht mit einer Buttersoße und Parmesan und hat mir somit etwas anderes als auf der Karte steht gezaubert. Daher gehen sie wirklich auf die Gäste drauf ein. Das Essen hat wirklich geschmeckt. Das Dessert „Hefebällchen mit Honig und Vanilleeis“ war wirklich lecker und ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Allem in allem war es ein wirklich schöner Besuch!

Extremely disappointing experience. I booked this restaurant for my birthday, expecting it to live up to its reputation for high-end Greek cuisine and ambiance, but it fell far short. The service was abysmal, with an incredibly long wait just to take our order, followed by what felt like an eternity for the food to arrive. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, and they seated us next to the bathroom on my birthday. We were served by three different people, including one woman who had her hair down, which almost ended up in the food she was carrying on her arms. As for the food, it was a major letdown, at least for my order. We tried some entrées (olives, sardines, and shrimp). The olives were overly salty and not something I would recommend. The sardines were the worst—they were served straight from the can with no plating, which is unacceptable given the menu prices. The shrimp, however, was quite good. For the main course, I ordered fish with mashed potatoes, which was served on top of a green sauce, as shown in the picture. The mashed potatoes were completely bland, the fish was dry, and the sauce didn't help as the entire dish was cold and flavorless. The atmosphere was the only redeeming factor, but even that was spoiled by terrible lighting that made us feel like we were in a coffin later in the evening. All in all, I will never return here, and I recommend thoroughly researching any restaurant before booking it for an important event. Definitely not worth the price.

Ich war mit 2 Freunden in dem Restaurant zum Abendessen. Die Qualität der Speisen war top, aber unsere Bedienungen, Agnes und Yásmine haben einen Job gemacht, den man einfach nur Spitzenklasse nennen kann. Wir waren super zufrieden.

VERY small portions and outrageously expensive. You have to look for the mashed potatoes under the mini steak (no joke! - at first I thought it had been forgotten or came separately). You can also see some of it in the photos posted here. You won't get full unless you have an appetizer with it. Then you're at €40-50 per person. But after all, it's not a "starred restaurant"! If that's what I want, I'll definitely go somewhere else. I've rarely left a restaurant hungry, but that was the case here. The waitress was VERY pushy and asked us at least four times within 20 minutes if we would like something more to drink. This no longer has anything to do with good service, it was simply penetrating! Only when we told her that she shouldn't ask anymore did she calm down. Pretty ugly. I was very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.

Lovely ambience, attentive service and classy venue. Extensive wine list with many food options on the menu. All the food was flavoursome, tasty for sure. However the main course was too salty for me, both the moussaka and seasonal vegetables were cooked with too much salt for my personal taste.
