Restaurant Ambrosia in Kassel

About 15 years ago we went to eat at Ambrosia through a voucher booklet. Since then, the food has always been fresh and of consistent quality. The family that owns it is very friendly and we will continue to come back there in the future.

We just had our family Christmas dinner there. Really great, the service was very nice, funny and child-friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, the meat was not dry. It was our first time here and certainly not the last time

The best Greek food I've ever eaten. Everything we ordered was delicious, I had a fish platter...totally recommended. There is a lot of love in the dishes. We'll be back.

I've been coming here at irregular intervals for years, always very good and fresh food. The homemade bread with the tzatziki is sensational. Recently we were a group of 15 people, everyone was very satisfied. The boss and junior boss are very nice and try everything for the benefit of the guest. There is currently no better Greek in Kassel.

Very humorous and friendly service. Good tzatziki and meat. A bit of a filling side dish but everything tastes excellent. Quality has its price...

Ambrosia is Greek FoodPorn. It couldn't be better, just delicious. Would have liked to give 8 stars. Very authentic location, honestly even more beautiful than in my beloved Greece. And I guess it was the boss, such a hot guy. Told everyone about it and I'll be back.

We were at Ambrosia today, it's just wonderful, very nice people who host you and the food was also very tasty, everything was homemade, everything was just right, we didn't have to wait long, you can really feel at home at Ambrosia, we were there for lunch and there was a reservation Also tip top, we were there at 1 p.m., a very pleasant atmosphere and everything about it was just wonderful, we will definitely come back, highly recommended, really classy and nice and cozy 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃 a thousand stars from me, really highly recommended 😃

I was at Ambrosia with my girlfriend a few days ago. We ordered 1 x gyros with fries and bifteki with fries. We took the food with us because we had to go home. If you pay 40 euros for gyros and bifteki, it should be something special. That's how I have to rate the food. According to price/performance! Gyros, bifteki and fries were good but also standard. Not more. I know other Greeks in Kassel who are cheaper and at least as good in quality. Ambiance is nice. Service was nice.

The food is very tasty. Fish and meat are both highly recommended. Nice, helpful waiter, the family cooks and lives here, you feel comfortable and welcome. Good wine selection and great advice. I wish you continued success and hope that you will stay with us for a long time :-)

Wir waren durch Empfehlung ins Ambrosia. Diese Tip war wirklich 5* Wert Wir haben selten so eine gute Küche genossen. Frisch vorbereitet, volle Geschmack an alle bestellten Gerichte. Unsere Gastronomische Erfahrung gibt gerne die 5 Sterne. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!

The food and the hospitality are really good. Would recommend the restaurant any day. Especially the lamb chops in the picture, I love them. Also unlike any traditional potato side, they have veg less potato and more zucchini which I would prefer any day.

Last Saturday the five of us had dinner. We had to wait longer because it was very crowded. In return we were treated to a round of drinks. The food was delicious and the innkeeper was funny. Everything is just great 😊

Were here for the first time today. Was delicious. Everything freshly prepared. Friendly service. Quickly and quickly. Although it was pretty busy for a Thursday. Highly Recommended! We will definitely come back.

Nice restaurant in a family-run atmosphere. We are happy to offer dishes and side dishes even if they are not on the menu. We had Greek noodles instead of rice. Moussaka is only served when mom cooks. Simply great. Staff very nice and friendly. Thanks again to Nico.

Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. We sat inside and were basically ticked off after a drink and an appetizer. There was a lot of service outside. So we finally put the money on the table and left, even though we would have loved to have a main course and another drink! It's a shame because we were really looking forward to finally going to our favorite Greek restaurant again after the long Corona break. Today it was an evening without ouzo... Addition: Now that after 2 years we thought we would give them another chance, I would like to increase my number of stars by two again. This time it was another nice evening with very good food and nice service (and ouzo ;-)). The only thing I missed was my beloved starter plate.

Excellent! The food was amazing! Perfectly grilled meat, crispy fries and delicious local wine. In addition, incredibly nice operators who really make you feel welcome. The store is packed, which is always a good sign. And still take time to chat with your guests. I have rarely left a restaurant so satisfied. Thank you!

Sehr leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente, sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sowohl das Essen als auch das Personal sind dort wirklich sehr gut. Das Fleisch, sei es Gyros oder anderes war immer perfekt, weder zu trocken noch zu fettig. Die Portionen waren vollkommen ausreichend und wenn doch mal etwas zu wenig war, wurde es schnell nachgefüllt (z.B. Pommes). Das Personal ist stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Restaurant nach zweimaligen Besuch auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Leider sein Geld nicht wert. Bifteki und Gyros fehlte es an Gewürzen und beim Zaziki an allem besonders an Knoblauch. Zwiebeln waren geschnitten wie von einem Kleinkind. Pommes waren gut, Reis leider total verkocht und matschig und geschmacksneutral. Gyros war trocken und zäh. Dafür 39,80 Euro - Respekt. SCHADE

Sehr nettes Familienunternehmen und das Essen wird immer mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Wir waren bestimmt schon 80 bis 100 Mal dort, auch unsere Firmenfeiern und unsere Hochzeit haben wir dort abgehalten. Noch nie zuvor hat ein Rinderfilet so gut geschmeckt wie dort.

Absolut begeistert von diesem griechischen Restaurant. Die kulinarischen Speisen sind ein wahrer Genuss und spiegeln die Vielfalt der griechischen Küche perfekt wider. Die familiäre und einladende Atmosphäre ist sofort zu spüren. Es ist der ideale Ort, um mediterrane Gerichte zu genießen. Das Essen wird frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. Man schmeckt sofort, die Speisen werden mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, sodass man sich direkt wohl fühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die gute Küche schätzen!

Für mich das beste griechische Restaurant weit und breit . Ein absolutes Highlight: Das selbst gebackene Brot welches zum zaziki gereicht wurde . Musste direkt nachbestellen und war fast satt als der sehr leckere Hauptgang kam (Überbackenes Gyros). Leider wohne ich 100 km entfernt .. Wäre sonst öfters Gast

Ein Geheimtipp. Ein herzlicher Empfang von Chef und dem Personal. Eine ausführliche Beratung am Tisch zum Essen und Vorschläge vom Service. Großartig. Alles perfekt, das Lammfilet war auf den Punkt genau so wie das Gemüse dazu. Der Zugang ist auch mit dem Rollstuhl möglich. Eine Rollitaugliche Toilette gibt's nicht. Es ist aber auch ein Altbau. Ich komme ganz sicher wieder.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Nette Bedienung, schneller Service. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, frisch und heiß. Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer🥰

Man kann hier hervorragend essen und genießen. Man wird hier herzlich empfangen und bedient. Wir kommen aus Buxtehude und wenn wir wieder in Kassel sind, werden wir wieder hier essen gehen.

Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wie ein Teil der Familie. Die Speisen sind von höchster Qualität und haben mich jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Die traditionellen griechischen Gerichte sind köstlich zubereitet und man schmeckt die Liebe und Leidenschaft, die in jedes Gericht gesteckt werden. Der Service ist äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Personal geht auf die individuellen Wünsche der Gäste ein und sorgt dafür, dass man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Nach langer Zeit mal wieder in Kassel bei Ambrosia eingekehrt. Essen sehr geschmackvoll, sehr liebevoll angerichtet und wieder die griechische Gastfreundschaft genossen. Sehr empfehlenswerter Familienbetrieb. Unbedingt das selbstgebackene Brot probieren!

Das war unser erster Besuch und definitiv nicht der letzte. Das Restaurant hat einen gemütlichen Charme. Der Service ist sehr schnell und sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und alles war frisch und hausgemacht. Wär einen leckeren Griechen sucht in Kassel ist hier an der richtigen Adresse 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
