We were here today, and it was delicious—whether it was gyros, souvlaki, or bifteki—every wish was fulfilled, and above all, the service was excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

We discovered this restaurant through My Local, Your Local. For my birthday, I made the best decision to dine at Achilles with my husband, and I have to say... I highly recommend this restaurant, beyond words. The chef and the entire team are very accommodating and always accommodated our requests. We would definitely come back! Thank you for your kind hospitality. :)

Prices are on the higher end – around €25 for a grilled plate, with normal portion sizes. The ambiance was okay, although a bit dated (the furniture). I'd definitely go back!

Like many people who enjoy cooking, we rarely go out to eat. Yesterday, we made an exception because of our 20th wedding anniversary. Conclusion: We haven't had better food at any Greek restaurant in Germany than here. The meat was very tender, the (homemade?) fries were hot, and the portions were generous. A particular highlight was the fried anchovies on salad, which I had as an appetizer. Our daughter will be 20 this summer. We'll be back then.

It was okay, not cheap, and my special requests weren't accommodated... I wanted a senior's portion and fries instead of rice. Apparently, that wasn't possible... The meat, the salad, and everything else was fresh, of impeccable quality, and delicious. I can't judge the price for gyros, but the quality and quantity (for a big eater) were just right...

All in all a great evening with bowling and delicious food. We were told there was a bell if we wanted to order something. But someone came down regularly and accepted our wishes. That was a really great service and unfortunately the time flew by. But then we'll have to come again! Thank you for the great evening.

Very polite reception, friendly received, courteous and attentive. A great meal, fresh and juicy, plus the homemade dishes was a highlight. A nightcap recommendation would be Metaxa 12 or Ouzo on ice.

The ingredients were all very fresh and well implemented. Definitely a good Greek in Kassel. Food is very expensive compared to the quality. It doesn't taste bad, but everything is a bit bland and not very interesting. Service is top notch and the interior design is also very pretty.

Last night we had a delicious meal at Achilles. Nice service, usual menu for a Greek restaurant. The three of us shared the appetizer plate number 9. Brilliantly delicious! Afterwards there were bifteki or gyros. All portions fresh and rich. Very very tasty. Price-performance ratio is good. We'll be back.

I bought various dishes for 4 people from Achilles and picked them up well insulated to serve to our guests at home on the dining table. The quality of the dishes was impeccable and both managers were very friendly.

I was there for the first time. The food was very tasty, I had the gyro plate with fries and homemade fried onions. The boss and the waiter are super nice, they stopped by regularly and if you had a small stomach (like mine) the leftovers were packed up without any problem. Funny story. I lived in Rothenditmold for 20 years and have never been here. Now I was visiting Kassel and my friend said there was a very good gyros here. In short, we stopped and ordered a gyro plate to take away and what can I say. It was actually one of the tastiest gyro dishes I've ever had. The meat, juicy and crispy at the same time, the tzatziki was for the gods, very garlicky and super fresh! Even the fries were probably homemade, in terms of taste and cut! There was also Nen Ouzo to sweeten the waiting time a little! Thank you very much for your excellent gyros! I was more than just thrilled and I was also really full. Top!!!

The food tasted good! The Metaxa sauce is a poem. After the initial “reluctance”, the service was extremely good, attentive and friendly/funny! Unfortunately, the atmosphere is a bit “rustic” and the prices are at the upper end. Gyros without extras €18 seems too expensive to me. You can also charge for a shot of ketchup - but you don't have to.

We were there with a large group and the restaurant was very busy. It took a little longer for the food to arrive, but it was brought earlier for the children. And it was worth it! The food is great. I had the baked gyros with Metaxa sauce. A dream! Everyone else also thought it tasted good/very good. The vegan dishes were also very tasty. The waitresses were also very nice and friendly. It is recommended and we would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed with today's visit. Were here several times last year, but today was the highlight. The food only came after 1:15 hours, that's way too late! 2 drinks (soft drinks) were non-carbonated and tasted stale or mixed with leftovers, which is not possible at all. As I said, food arrived over an hour later, was lukewarm, the gyros and fries were almost cold, one dish was with fish that was completely oily. During this whole time, with waiting etc., we weren't even asked if we wanted new drinks etc., which is a shame! In the end, it wasn't a nice evening at Achilles and our birthday dinner was a mess. It's a shame that this restaurant has gone down so badly, we'll definitely not be coming back!! On top of that, it was extremely loud in the restaurant that you could hardly understand your own words. It's a shame, Team Achilles, you used to be better! 👎🏻

My gyro go-to for over 40 years. Recently changed ownership, But don't worry: I was there again today Great food still. Delicious fried onions on the gyros. This super juicy, spicy - but not too spicy, like tzatziki I think it could be a little more knotty. Price/performance fits. Very nice, attentive and friendly service. As usual. We continue to remain loyal.
