Nice people and atmosphere when playing darts

Very friendly and accommodating guests. Our apartment was modern and beautifully furnished (close to the church... ;) ). Particularly nice: the roof terrace/balcony in a maritime style, so we were able to have breakfast outside with the whole family this morning! Only recommended.

We went there on the recommendation of a colleague. Been there regularly since then. Really a great gastro pub. You feel like you've been transported back in time. Really nice German pub, the likes of which are no longer available in good quality everywhere. The innkeeper Darius is a great guy. There's really no other way to say it. He is relaxed and funny and engages with the guests. Simply great. The prices for drinks are great too. A large, freshly tapped beer for under 5 euros is really more than fair! The food is also really great, great quality and consistent taste. Just fantastic there. The selection of food is also great, there is something for everyone! Even though we usually always use the same thing ^^ We recommend the schnitzel, with fried potatoes and malt beer sauce. The salad and dressing, as well as the bread and spread that you get beforehand, are also super tasty. Almost everything is right here! We always like to come. Most of the time, old German wave music plays, which fits with the overall rustic look of the pub. Some dishes could perhaps be a bit cheaper (especially if you order a larger portion) but otherwise great. The only criticism/information I have is that you should definitely plan time here if you go there in the evening and want to eat. It can take a good 2 hours, but you know that when you go there. Sometimes the host and the cook are very stressed. I think it wouldn't hurt to have some extra strength, especially on the weekends. Otherwise one of my favorite shops in Essen! Oh and you'd better make a reservation. Thank you very much and we will see you again soon. Like almost once a week ^^

Nice sports bar with delicious food

Open late in the evening, possibility of dining around 10 p.m. and beyond. Interesting options Monday Gambas, Tuesday to Thursday fish paradise at €12.90 (photo) huge! Good address! The restaurant did not survive COVID. Damage.

Nice pub with a small stage. A typical meal here is fries and currywurst in different variations. Service is friendly and quite fast. There is also a beer garden and there are enough parking spaces. Toilet is on the ground floor.

Quite a nice pub where you can also celebrate well in the cellar. The air in the basement could just be a little better
