I love this place and am so glad the current owners offer first-class cuisine and excellent service. I recently moved back to my old hometown of Olpe after 30 years and feel right at home in this inn. It brings back wonderful childhood memories and is also a place to retreat to with friendly hosts and delicious food. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed... We had chosen this restaurant as our destination for our bike tour. Accordingly, we were thirsty and hungry when we arrived. We quenched our thirst with a beer, but that was about it, as the service left much to be desired. It took several minutes for the waiter to arrive at our table. By the time he did, we had already ordered our drinks. When we asked about food, we were told it would take half an hour to three-quarters of an hour to get it. We asked if we could get a menu, but none was brought. After a brief moment of reflection, we asked about the food again when we had the chance. Then we were told it would take another 20 minutes because they were still preparing it. A short time later, the table next door received food... which we didn't understand. That was enough for us, and we wanted to leave. Since the beer garden was rarely served, my colleague went inside to pay... The server looked very overwhelmed, in my opinion, and he was probably alone. It wasn't very busy (at least not in the beer garden. I didn't go inside, so I can't judge. According to my colleague, there were about 10 people inside). This was our first visit there. It's a shame we were so disappointed.

Delicious and cozy dining. Great food with friendly service. You can sit comfortably outside in the greenery or inside. Unfortunately, I find it a bit too noisy inside, but otherwise, I'd happily go back.

The menu is relatively small, but completely sufficient. We had wraps. One wrap was cut in half and salad was placed underneath. Very tasty and enough for one person. I thought the price of €13.90 was reasonable. I was full and the food was tasty. That's the main thing. The service was also very friendly. I'd be happy to go back.

We were there for the third time today. As always, it was fantastic, the food simply amazing: schnitzel with garlic hollandaise, jalapeños, and baked with cheese. Simply amazing. We really like it there, the atmosphere, the music, and of course the hosts. We'll definitely be back soon.

Conveniently located off the A45, it's a great place to stop for a quick break before the rest of the journey home and refuel in the beer garden. A small, straightforward menu with a sufficient selection of meat and meatless options at fair prices. The food is beautifully presented, tastes okay, but could be improved. The service is very friendly and attentive.

I celebrated my birthday there and everything went well. The food was excellent and the hospitality was first class. I would highly recommend celebrating there again at any time.

After a long time we returned to this restaurant and were greeted very nicely. The menu is small, but has enough choice so that everyone could find something. The dishes were prepared quickly and were tasty, but unfortunately fell short of expectations. We also had the impression that some of it was prepared from the package, but not everything. The innkeeper was very attentive and polite. The ambience was what we expected from a restaurant and you could also sit comfortably. All in all, a very nicely located excursion restaurant.

We had a family celebration here today and the buffet was simply great. Exactly what we wanted. The coffee and cake in the afternoon were also very tasty. The service was excellent as always.

The Rosenthal restaurant is located in beautiful nature, close to a climbing park. It is also a great place to visit for families. Endless parking options. Friendly and courteous staff invite you to spend some time either outside in the beer garden or inside in the well-kept, rustic guest rooms. Even conference rooms and meeting rooms are available, which we used. The owner of the Wirt left a special impression regarding his flexibility and solution-oriented work so that everything was done to our satisfaction. The icing on the cake is of course the food, both visually and taste-wise it was a feast for the eyes and a pleasure. I can recommend the Rosenthal restaurant in every respect and give it a straight A1 with stars 🌟 and a highly recommended 🌄

I would be inclined to call this restaurant a restaurant. Not only is the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, the quality of the food and how good it tastes are second to none. The ambience is rustic but very well maintained and invites you to a cozy get-together or a good meal. The innkeeper is always careful to do everything to the guest's satisfaction and wishes are respected and, if possible, implemented. We were there for an event and everything was perfect. Many thanks to the Rosenthal restaurant and its team for this unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back. Here I give it a straight A1 with a star 🌟 and a highly recommended 👍

We have been there several times and have never been disappointed, very tasty.

Basically a nice destination. Two suggestions for improvement: 1) Fry the schnitzel and don't deep-fry it - unfortunately it was very greasy and less digestible, 2) Sand and oil the benches and tables outside, there were splinters everywhere. Otherwise it is very nice and cozy outside. The service was very friendly but you had to wait quite a long time even though there wasn't much going on.

We were there on Saturday...the landlord was super nice and friendly. He was all alone and there was a lot to do. All attention! The menu is manageable, pleasant prices. Really delicious food was served. A warm greeting to the kitchen. We will definitely come back often.

Very tasty schnitzel dishes, wraps, salads, pasta dishes. Friendly host with his wife as an extremely good cook. We'll definitely go there again.

Unfortunately, the owners are unlucky when it comes to employees - unfortunately there are none. Which meant that the service was very slow. The food was plentiful and tasty. The owner was very nice ;-)

The waiter took a long time to ask for drinks, the menu came 15 minutes later. Once you were finally able to order, the food came relatively quickly. Unfortunately all the plates and glasses had been empty for 30 minutes and there was still no waiter. Even after asking to pay, no waiter came. We ended up paying at the counter inside, we didn't even get a printed bill... Great food if you have a lot of time and drinks aren't that important to you. Unfortunately, one person in the group also had hair in their food. :( We wouldn't go there again.

We were there on a Saturday. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and immediately assigned a table without any problems. Despite the high volume, the food for 4 people was at the table within 10 minutes and was delicious. Even after the meal, the service was impeccable; as soon as the drink was almost empty, we asked for a new drink. We were really completely satisfied and will come by more often in the future.

We were there with our classic car regulars' table. The service was super friendly but not intrusive. The food was very rich and incredibly tasty. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are local We'll definitely be back.

Ein sehr schöner Landgasthof mit einem besonderen Charme, sehr idyllisch gelegenen mit einem sehr schönen Biergarten. Der Wirt war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Essen war sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet, Preis Leistung top. Wir waren das erste mal dort gewesen aber zu 100% nicht das letzte mal. Es war auf jeden Fall ein sehr schöner Abend bei euch, danke dafür. Weiter so, und bis bald !!!

Das Gasthaus ist Urgemütlich. Im Sommer mit einem tollen Biergarten. Der Wirt war super Nett und zuvorkommend. Lockere Atmosphäre und das Essen einfach Spitze. Dort hin zu fahren lohnt. Und wir kommen wieder. Danke für die Bewirtung

Immer einen Besuch wert, unglaublich sympathischer Wirt, der sich wirklich bemüht, dass man sich wohlfühlt und das auch schafft! Super leckeres Essen, kann unter anderem den Genuss-Salat empfehlen, mit gratiniertem Ziegenkäse, gerösteten Nüssen und Rucola dabei, unglaublich gut!

Ein angenehmer Abend bei angemessenem leckerem Essen (preiswert) und sehr netter Bedienung. Hatte weniger erwartet und wurde mehr als positiv überrascht.

Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir haben im rustikalen Außenbereich gegessen. Es erwartet einen, eine interessante Speisekarte, überschaubar und mit allerlei Leckereien! Natürlich auch Schnitzelgerichte, aber auch vegetarisches. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden und das Restaurant liegt direkt neben dem Kletterpark.

Leider schlecht beschildert aber wenn man da ist rustikale Tische man fühlt sich wie im Wald .Essen sehr gut.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit einem gemütlichen Biergarten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich, die Gerichte von sehr guter Qualität und super lecker. Preise sind angemessen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Lokal jedem weiterempfehlen.

Wir sind heute mit 11 Wanderer vom SGV-Attendorn in der Gaststätte im Rosenthal eingekehrt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zügig bedient. Wir wurden sehr aufmerksam bewirtet. Insgesamt sehr freundlich, Kinder und Hunde sind herzlich willkommen. Unsere vierbeinige Begleitung wurde selbstverständlich mit einer Schüssel frischem Wasser verwöhnt. Die Speisekarte ist positiv überschaubar und preislich sehr attraktiv. Die Portionen sind sehr ausreichend. Die Küche versteht ihr Handwerk. Unterm Strich: tolle, familienfreundliche Lokation, leckeres und sehr gutes Essen!

Wunderbar gelegen, direkt von der Autobahn 3 min.Super zügige Bedienung, top Wrap und Kaiserschmarren, am Biggesee kann man sich die Beine vertreten!
