Were there with 4 people. Service was good, we were always attentive, and the food was great. The benches and chairs were not ours. We'll be back.

We were pleased that the kitchen was open at 3 p.m. in the afternoon. What was served to us was subterranean in terms of appearance and taste. Nuggets fried into rock-hard dark chunks and another dish an indefinable mush of French fries soaking in a ladle of vegetable stew. I still remember the time when the Klumpen was a well-known address for its good, fresh cuisine. Now a bitter disappointment.

Great 👍 I had dinner here on Saturday evening. I can recommend the vegan Thai curry. It was very tasty 😊 The service was super friendly. The waitresses often came and asked if everything was OK or if I wanted anything else. The atmosphere is also very cozy and inviting ✨ If I'm in Olpe again, I'll come back ❤️

The outside area is right on the street, but the noise wasn't really bothersome. The food was great. We had various tarte flambées that were fresh and well topped. Delicious! Our daughter's veggie burger was the best she's ever tasted - and she's tried many. So a clear recommendation from us!!!

The best vegetarian patty I've ever eaten and great fries! Be careful, gigantic portions. Nice atmosphere in beautiful little Olpe, the street outside can be a bit annoying at busy times. My parents thought that the service could have stopped by 1-2 times more often, but that was probably due to the change (3 different service staff within about 1.5 hours). Gladly again!

We ate here last day and ordered a normal and a vegan schnitzel. This order was brought to our neighboring table with the statement “2x Schnitzel” One gentleman received the vegan schnitzel, the other went back and came to my table shortly afterwards. The food for the other gentleman was delivered quickly and, surprisingly, my wife had to wait longer for her vegan schnitzel. The service staff didn't let on, but we knew what was happening here. The gentleman at the next table enjoyed it and didn't seem to have noticed. I tried the vegan schnitzel myself and well what can I say, you taste it 😅 However, it would be necessary to train your staff not to pass off a vegan schnitzel at the table as normal, so such mistakes could be avoided. And I would have liked the service person to reveal it to the gentleman at the next table because the mistake was hers. Otherwise, the food was delicious and you can also sit right on the market square.

Traditional German food in quite some vegan versions as well. Vegan Wiener schnitzel with mushroom, fried potatoes, or a big oven potato. All on a nice big terrace on the square next to the church. Big non-alcoholic weizen beer next to it. I liked this place.

The few bad reviews are incomprehensible to me. Ordered food to be picked up. It was ready on time despite being busy and was of top quality. Service was very friendly. We would be happy to come back.

Hello, I was eating at Klumpen again on a Saturday and it will stay that way for the time being. I was looking forward to spaetzle with paprika chicken, what I got was the same food that was also offered at the Olper Schützenfest. The shooting festival has been over for a week now and I was also introduced to this spaetzle and that was horrible. The spaetzle were fried in the pan so that you couldn't eat them anymore because they were so hard. The previous soup was okay (chicken soup) so I ate another one and ended up paying a little over thirty euros. I would have gotten a good three-course meal elsewhere for this. I'd rather take a longer train journey now, but then I'll have a Balkan plate that's worth seeing and tasting. It's in Frankfurt, it's called Balkan Food and it's right next to the train station. The food in Siegen at the Thai restaurant is also very good and if you're in the city gallery you should try it out. It's a shame but in Olpe the good things are becoming less and less. It will be some time before I go there again because I would be happy to pay a few euros more if the food was good. Better luck to all of you because you have to work hard for your money. Up soon. We meet here every few months (coming from the Central Hesse and Oberberg districts). “Klumpen am Markt” is now a regular stop for an early dinner. In keeping with EM2024, there was a menu with specialties from different countries. We decided on the créme brulée from France. The offering of chanterelle dishes competed with the national menu. So it became the potato pot with chanterelles and vegetables. Actually with bacon, but you can also get the potato pot without it. The service is good, the wait staff is nice. The food came quickly and was really tasty. Crispy fried potatoes with fresh chanterelles, I think just fried in butter, which emphasized the taste of the chanterelles and didn't "bury" them. The crème brulée! Banger. Simply delicious and a wonderful ending. The next meeting is in two months and we will definitely come back.

Good location. But unfortunately nothing more. You wait too long for the drinks and the tarte flambée with chanterelles was “the BURNER” in the truest sense of the word. Too dry and burnt at the edges. It's a shame, you could do more with the location.

The food was great. But it was very unkempt outside. The tables were sticky, the chair cushions were wet and there were flowers and leaves on many tables, as well as paper on the floor.

The schnitzel with onions was okay, but the potato wedges that were offered as fries on the menu were not good at all. No taste, dripping with fat. I told the staff this, they just said I would pass it on to the kitchen. If that's okay for the service... I know it better elsewhere. You also need to practice on the salad, you can make a balsamic dressing so well, and that's what I expect from a trained chef. It's a shame we won't be coming anymore

Unfortunately, the good food was severely negatively affected by the non-acceptance of the “SchlemmerBlock voucher book”. The waitress reacted increasingly rudely and referred to an alleged instruction from her boss. My written complaint was followed by an apology over the phone, but unfortunately a promised voucher did not reach me after weeks. Doubly unfortunate.....

Wonderful old restaurant, delicious food - particularly the Rösti type potatoes with smoked salmon and the Bratkartoffeln. We sat outside and really enjoyed watching all the comings and goings. Lovely place, friendly service.

Nice atmosphere with ok service. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. Burger was cold and tarte flambée couldn't be cut. Funnily enough, Cola had hardly any carbonation.

Heute spontan im Klumpen eingekehrt um etwas zu essen. Erwartet hat uns ein ansprechendes, gepflegtes Ambiente. Freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Speisen und Getränke waren lecker und reichhaltig. Auch Wasser für unsere Hunde wurde ausgeschenkt, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wenn wir noch einmal in Olpe sein sollten, erden wir gerne wieder kommen.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier vom Team dort ausgerichtet und es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir haben die Gerichte vorher ausgewählt und sie haben gepasst und waren zügig da. Der Service war auch da, wenn wir ihn brauchten. Und wir konnten schon vorher unsere Wichtelgeschenke dort ablegen, weil wir uns am Weihnachtsmarkt getroffen hatten. Macht weiter so, wir hatten einen tollen Abend :)

We have been meeting here for dinner with the family at Christmas or birthdays for years. The location in the city center is very good, there are plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding area. The food was always very tasty, home-style. Our vegetarians also found what they were looking for. Very cozy and always friendly service. Moderate price-performance ratio. We'd love to come back.

Went here as tourists for lunch. For this price (between 10 and 13 euros for 1 to 3 courses) incredibly good quality. Quick, good drinks rounded it off. Seems to be a very old (historic?!) building, but it is very well maintained inside and out. Overall 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 as well as in the individual criteria of service, food and ambience. If we are in Olpe again, we will come back.

Uriges Lokal mitten im Zentrum von Olpe. Da wir hier nur etwas getrunken haben, entfällt die Bewertung für das Essen. Die Portionen, die während unseres Aufenthalts allerdings rausgebracht wurden, sahen alle sehr gut aus.

Haben nur was getrunken aber Personal war freundlich

Die Küche hat echt nachgelassen. Tiefkühl Fertig- Schnitzel aus Formfleisch ist Pommes Buden Niveau. Zum Bier trinken aber top Schöner Aussenbereich, Service ist aufmerksam.

Leckeres Essen in der perfekten Menge. Menü ist überschaubar, aber für jeden sollte was dabei sein. Wartezeit ist auch völlig angemessen.

Wir waren mit mehreren Personen zum wöchentlichen Mittagstisch da. Service war aufmerksam - aber nicht aufdringlich. Essen sehr lecker.

+ Lage am Marktplatz in Olpe sehr gut + Service gut und flott - Schnitzel wohl TK Produkt, allenfalls ok. Pommes gut - Beilagensalat maximal ok Fazit: zum was Trinken gut geeignet, zum Essen würden wir woanders einkehren

Alles super ausser das unsere leeren Glässer nicht beachtet wurden oder gefragt wurde ob wir noch was trinken möchten. Abgesehen davon war das Personal aber sehr nett. Jederzeit wieder.

Komisch, auf der Getränke Karte kostet das Starnberg Hell 0,5. Verlangt wurde 6 Euro. So sollte nicht mit Kunden umgegangen werden.

Gegen 14:00 Uhr nicht mehr zu voll. Leckeren Salat mit Hänchen Streifen gegessen. Gesessen haben wir vor dem Restaurant auf dem Marktplatz unter Sonnenschirmen. Gerne wieder.
