Worth a visit again and again!!! The food is amazing - in addition to the classic meat version, there is always a vegetarian alternative. The service is attentive/quick/nice and has a relaxed attitude, especially on stressful match days. The atmosphere is also very inviting - it simply fits the motto of football/coal and steel ⚽️⚒️.

The food was okay but nothing special. One of the schnitzels we had wasn't cooked through, so we had a new plate without any complications. We were in the pub for a Champions League game. Unfortunately we sat under a small loudspeaker. The sound from the speaker wasn't nice. The sound was loud the whole time but the quality was poor. You didn't understand anything that was said. That was a shame.

A good, rustic event location with a clear menu where everyone will find something. And it also tastes good and fills you up. Minus points, however, for the seating, at least in the “guest block”. The chairs have (unfortunately) had their best days behind them. I had the feeling that only the covering of the chair was keeping me upright. Kevin, you should change that quickly 😉

Mega! I'm not a big football fan, but the food and service are simply great! Changing local beers on tap. Even if you don't expect it at first glance: super child-friendly! We were offered painting supplies, after 'shocking' in the toilet we had 'children's schnapps', really a top location! And since KG was a neighbor of ours, it was a better investment :)

Went to the home game against the farmers at Mit Schmackes today. Great atmosphere there, the whole team including the boss is always in a great mood and nice. The food today was also totally fresh and delicious and the portions were generous enough to accommodate a large appetite. Despite the full house, no one had to wait long for their food. I've been a fan of yours since my first visit. I particularly noticed Laura from the team today. Thank you for your warm friendliness and for always having a smile for the guests despite the stress. As a guest you really feel comfortable and well “cared for”.

Cool location, unfortunately Kevin wasn't there but his colleagues had everything under control, delicious schnitzel in different variations.

Very friendly, competent and fast team so top service. Food... we had the Malocher pan Highly recommended Pork fillet wrapped in bacon Top juicy on point herb triplets and bacon beans really tasty. Ambiance for a sports bar/pub is great, something to discover on every wall, even the drinks return (toilet), drinking games or even a podcast. ;-) Nice industrial style mixed with rustic... really a very good Dortmund sports bar/pub restaurant 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately it took a long time to get the first order; apparently we had been forgotten in the next room. Food was good for everyone. Unfortunately, we finished work quite early (right after the football broadcast). We were also asked to move because the room/table needed to be cleaned.

The restaurant is known as a Borussia fan bar, so you can also watch games on Sky here. In keeping with the crowd, the menu focuses entirely on schnitzel (including vegetarian ones!). The schnitzels were also good, so it's also a good place to eat.

In any case. But it's best to travel by train or by bike or on foot. Parking is a bit difficult.

The food was good, unfortunately the service was very disappointing during a Borussia game. Despite several attempts to draw the service staff's attention to us, we were not served during or after our meal for almost the entire first half. Even when the eating utensils were cleared away, it was not possible to order drinks. When we finally managed to reach a waiter, we were told that we had not made ourselves sufficiently noticed. Several of the 8 people at our table tried to get attention through hand signals and shouts. When the waiter pointed out that there were a lot of empty glasses, the waiter reacted inappropriately. He felt personally attacked and refused to accept any further orders from us. Only through the intervention of a friendly colleague was the situation normalized and we were able to place an order. Immediately after the game, contrary to our original plan, we went as a group. Unfortunately, after contacting us and describing the situation via email, there was no response.

Really beautifully done. We sat in the back, there was enough space around the tables, but with the restaurant almost full it was quite loud. The staff was relaxed and nice. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. We had the dishes "Heaven and Earth" and a veggi schnitzel with mushroom sauce. There was a delicious beer from a small brewery. Even the toilet is lovely and original. We ended up there by chance and will definitely come back again.

What can I say, the place was just roaring

Everything was to our satisfaction. The starters and main course arrived at the same time and were super tasty 🤤. The service was nice, quick and attentive, asking every now and then whether everything was to our satisfaction. We haven't yet managed to get all 6 people to eat their fill. Das Mit Schmackes made it, is our final opponent 😅 We'll definitely be back.

Hmmma! In Kevin's restaurant you can eat really tasty food. The service is quick and varies from person to person. When it comes to food, I just put something on a fork and it tastes good too. There are delicious Dortmund beers there too. If you don't go here, you're a bit crazy.

We received the starter quickly, but unfortunately it took 1:30 hours until we got the main course. Definitely took too long for us.

After 2 hours still no food. Tables that arrived after and are served beforehand. Not recommended. Unless you're not hungry.

Food and service were perfectly fine. It was unpleasant that we, 6 people, had to clear the table after 2 hours without dessert and with half-full glasses. To be fair, the reservation confirmation stated that our "stay [...] was planned to last 2 hours", but we did not expect such rigid handling. 2 hours may be enough for many, but not for our group. A little more sensitivity would have been nice.

We went here for dinner before the Christmas market and were not disappointed. There is a good selection of drinks and delicious German food. The ambience also fits well and it was neat. Price-performance ratio suited me well But keep in mind that this is a pub restaurant and not a quiet candlelight dinner.

I was at Schmackes with my husband this evening. The ambience is quite pleasant, but it is quite loud there. The employees are friendly and work quickly. So quickly that you barely get a chance to take a sip before the food arrives. Overall, this location gives me the impression of mass processing. We both ordered schnitzel. My husband has Viennese style and I have Jägerschnitzel. These were poorly seasoned. There was no salt and pepper. My Jägerschnitzel came with a champion cream sauce. What I mean by hunter's sauce is something different. My sauce was sticky and is still heavy on my stomach. The side salad was nicely presented, but here too the dressing was rather bland. It only took 40 minutes from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left. Cozy and relaxed is different. All in all, it is unlikely for us to visit again.

We held our Christmas party (>30 people) at Schmackes. It was great - delicious food, friendly staff and hardly any waiting times for food and drink orders. Plus a restaurant furnished with real Ruhrpott charm. Absolute recommendation!

Hello everyone, This evening we visited the restaurant *Mit Schmackes* in Dortmund. The current special menu includes dishes with kale, so my choice fell on the kale schnitzel with fried potatoes - simply delicious! 🥰 Schnitzel fried top in the pan with delicious steamed kale and crispy (not greasy) fried potatoes and a side salad. The service was very pleasant and courteous. The BVB ambience fits very well, not obtrusively decorated. We'll definitely be back! Thank you very much!

We were there shortly after a BVB game and luckily had reserved a table beforehand. The store is very busy at these times. The service was great and very quick. The beer is freshly tapped and the food is delicious - we'll definitely come back when we're in Dortmund again :)

It was my first time there and, with bad luck, also my last time due to the very long distance to Dortmund. I'm absolutely thrilled: the staff is top and absolute and the food couldn't be better. The price-performance ratio is absolutely great. It's a shame that I live so far away... I would be a regular guest!

Is it a pub or a restaurant? When you make a reservation you are given a period of 2 hours - then you have to leave the table. The times are stupid for people who don't want to eat at 6 or 8 p.m. The schnitzels are okay, the service is quick and friendly. The room is loud and moderately heated.

My schnitzel was very dry. The taste was quite good but far from juicy. And I thought it was way too expensive for something like that. I'd be better off having a frozen schnitzel made for me for a tenner. It's a shame but I'll try it again. I'm sure if the schnitzel wasn't so dry it would have been good.

Actually it was just intended as a little stopover on the way to a concert, now I don't know whether I came to Dortmund because of Sum41 or Mit Schmackes. The service was great and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It may be over 200km... but I'll be back... even if it's the last thing I do.

I have to be honest, before I entered this store I was more than skeptical. Due to the proximity to football and Kevin Großkreutz's co-ownership, I was afraid that this shop would only be visited by a certain clientele who do not attach great importance to quality food and good service or ambience, but I was proven wrong. The schnitzels and the side dishes were fresh and tasted like they were homemade. The service also left nothing to be desired. The waiter was very friendly and answered every question about the food down to the smallest detail and never made us feel annoyed. My companion was also enthusiastic about the store, even though they weren't football fans and were therefore much more critical of the visit than I was. A companion was also very pleased with the large selection of vegetarian dishes. We were also very pleased with the ambience and had to smile about some of the details (the references to the alleged kebab throw or the radio plays in the toilet are particularly noteworthy here). Would I come back? I can clearly answer that with a yes!

Schönes Ambiente, coole Lokation, Ruhrpott-Style eben. Nettes Personal, dad auf Zack ist. Leckeres Bier und auch das Schnitzel hat an nix fehlen lassen. Nur mit der Mayo wart ihr echt was geizig ;) Rundum aber ein gelungener Besuch.

The places near the bar are not recommended for eating. We had been empty of beer for a while and had to ask the waiter to order something else. The price/performance is perfect.
