The restaurant did not survive COVID. Damage.
At the beginning of the 2000s it was the cult pub in Reutlingen. I enjoyed being there as a guest and then worked there too. Then I moved away, came back after a few years and a lot has changed. Unfortunately not in a positive way for me. A strange DJ who can't read the audience and stubbornly plays his game, bar staff who don't really look in a good mood and seem extremely snooty. Well, everything comes to an end, I will have fond memories of my time as a regular guest.
The food was fine, which is what we would have liked from the waitress. Unfortunately, she was completely unacceptable. After I mentioned that the sauce served with the turkey steak tasted a bit sour, which wasn't just my perception, she replied that it couldn't be. The waitress also rolled her eyes disrespectfully. At no point did I doubt that the sauce was freshly prepared; there must have been some misunderstanding. However, I found it disrespectful that they then questioned my taste. Behind our backs, my question about the acidity of the sauce was considered impertinent. After I paid with my credit card, it was very roughly "placed" on my table after the transaction was complete. That's not how you treat customers, especially since my question was polite. The fact that we're now being told that this light sauce is actually Sauerbraten sauce is just like something from a bad movie. I've posted a picture of the food accordingly. A restaurateur should know what he's serving his guests. That's why I find it odd that the sour cream sauce we were served is suddenly supposed to be gravy from the sauerbraten. Regardless of the sauce, the service isn't really that good; it's completely beyond criticism.
Have a nice evening, and you can work on your manners.
Nice pub with a small stage. A typical meal here is fries and currywurst in different variations. Service is friendly and quite fast. There is also a beer garden and there are enough parking spaces. Toilet is on the ground floor.
Extremely loud music in the next room. The service appears to be silent. She doesn't ask what you want. Just look at you with your pad in your hand. A different staff would have to serve a club location. Reordering is also a challenge. The food isn't particularly good
"The draft beers were tasty, and despite the crowd, service was smooth. The kitchen doesn't open until after a certain time. We tried the fries, which were good. It could get busy on game days."
