Simply a great experience - the atmosphere is rustic and lovingly furnished. The service is on point and keeps asking if everything is still OK. But the absolute blast was the food: The menu is manageable, but the dishes on it are simply fantastic (see pictures) and the ingredients are perfectly coordinated - e.g.: The spaghetti with porcini mushroom pesto only tasted perfect when you added the rocket ate. You can tell that someone knows their way around the kitchen. The pretzel schnitzel was also freshly prepared and had an “airy crust” - just like a real schnitzel should be and not these fried ready-made schnitzels. The dessert also blew us away - incredibly delicious ice cream. And what I thought was really great: the chef came to the table and asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. All dishes are made with regional and organic products and the prices are at a normal level. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent rump steak (I eat it maybe twice a year). Nice service from the boss from Croatia. There are also Balkan-style schnitzel variations, and zander is also on offer. Vegetarians are also well served. The weak point is the Bitburger beer, which is unfortunately often available in the area. Luckily there are also Ebbelwei and Benedictine Whites from Lich.

A beautiful evening in Hiesfeld The Hiesfelder Hof is not a real restaurant, I don't think anyone expects great, fresh cuisine here - but it is a very nice location, beautifully furnished, personal service, it somehow feels so familiar. Plus: the schnitzels come from the butcher nearby. Minus: there is also a lot of frozen goods on the menu. The tarte flambée was super delicious. The schnitzels too. ...a little less chip salt would be good. Great drinks! We will be back. Breakfast is also recommended!
