We had good, honest schnitzels here. I was relieved when I heard a knock from the kitchen. This has now become a rarity. There was also a nice salad. All in one portion that will leave you feeling full. The service was excellent and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The prices are not overpriced.
Great food at a reasonable price and really pleasant service.
I'll definitely come by again.
The only thing I don't like is the ambience and the toilets in particular could use some updating.
We all ordered Thai food, the portion and spiciness were exactly what was written on the memory card.
With children, say it straight away without being sharp, otherwise it will backfire 😄🥵.
The atmosphere is just that of a clubhouse, good and simple.
If you want something exotic and hot, this is the place for you.
We were there on two evenings for a reserved 3-course meal. €50 per head for soup, main course and dessert.
First of all, the little one had schnitzel with fries twice. On the second evening the portion of fries was only half as large as the day before, but was added after complaints.
The adults waited 40 minutes for the soup, then an hour for the main course. The portions were below average and out of proportion, especially since we would have eaten cheaper ala cart. Some of the food was already cold, but that's not surprising given that the plates were cold.
On the first day, the bread that was served with the soup and was left over was still filling.
On the second day the main course was just sad and cheeky regarding the portion size, see picture. I wasn't full. That's a shame because unfortunately it couldn't compensate for the very good quality. There was no question as to how the meat should be fried.
Absolutely poor value for money and not recommended. Just an ordinary restaurant that would like to be fancy, but can only achieve this with the prices.
The meat and fries were raw...I told the waitress...then it was served again, then the fries were still raw and I was so stupid to ask a third time and lost my appetite. . My friend was there and felt the same way!
We were the only customers when we arrived at 6:30 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. You order at the counter, get your drinks from the fridge next to it, and the food is brought to your table later. The wait was short due to the lack of other customers. The quality of the burgers and fries (they were truly delicious, but unfortunately also incredibly high in calories) was nothing to complain about, and the ambiance was okay, fairly modern and rather austere, but something different. The prices for self-service are too high in my opinion: €22.50 for a chorizo burger with a regular portion of chili cheese fries (they also offer a large portion of fries for €11.50, but the regular portion was already quite substantial and generous). By 8:00 p.m., Bagage was quite busy, but you could always find a free table. There are also a few seats available outside on the sidewalk.
For me personally, by far the best kebab in Landau. I bake the bread myself, the meat is always good and the herb sauce is great. In addition, the staff is always friendly and in a good mood. 10/10
