The pizzeria “Bella Italia” in Iserlohn – a culinary poem from the heart of Italy
There are places where you get full - and then there is Bella Italia in Iserlohn: a place where you become happy. As soon as you step over the threshold for the first time, you sense that you're not just eating here - you're experiencing something.
The smell of freshly baked dough, the finest tomato sauce and melting mozzarella welcomes you like a warm hug from Naples. And when you think you've already eaten good pizza - then Bella Italia comes along and shows you what real pizza means.
The Margherita? A masterpiece of simplicity where every bite is a tribute to Italian tradition. The Quattro Stagioni? A change of season on your plate, better than any weather report. And when the Padrone himself stands at the table, with a smile wider than Vesuvius, and asks: “Did you enjoy it?” – then you know: you are home.
The service? Fast, warm, familiar. People know you by name, after the third visit anyway. The ingredients? Fresher than the morning dew in Tuscany. The ambience? Rustic, charming, full of love - like an Italian trattoria in the middle of Iserlohn.
I dare say: If Michelangelo had had a pizza in his hand instead of a paintbrush - the Sistine Chapel would be a pizza topping at Bella Italia.
Bella Italia is not a restaurant. It's a promise. In taste, in quality, in passion. If you don't eat here, you're missing out on a piece of real life.
Five stars is not enough. Bella Italia deserves its own constellation.
We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel VierJahreszeiten. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a relaxed and personal atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully designed with high-quality interiors and large windows offering a calming view into the forest—ideal for a peaceful getaway.
The food was an absolute highlight: creative, delicious, and beautifully presented—every meal felt like a special experience. The wellness area was top-notch too: modern, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind.
We brought our lovely dog with us, and she had a dream stay as well. The hotel is very dog-friendly, and with direct access to forest trails, every walk was an adventure. She felt just as welcomed and relaxed as we did.
We’ll definitely be coming back!
We've loved the pizza there for years. This weekend I celebrated my birthday there with family and friends. An absolute recommendation for everyone. The food was perfect, as was the attentive and loving service. A wonderful and successful evening. We thank you very much.
The best, freshly cooked food, hospitable people who don't make you believe anything, but are who they are. These are Tommaso and Simone. We have already appreciated the cuisine and service at previous locations and have also hosted two larger celebrations at the current location. Always good advice and then pampered. You won't find Chi-Chi here. At Tommaso there is clear, fresh and high-quality cuisine. Plus humor and authentic people. Here the entrepreneur cooks himself and does not have a large kitchen crew. It's not about "quick", it's about "tasty". For us, every visit is a little vacation.
The hosts are a dream!
The food is unusual and delicious.
The location impresses with its sense of style. A real insider tip that you wouldn't expect in Hennen
