Ristorante Tommaso in Iserlohn

We regularly meet up with friends at Tomaso's. It's always a real treat, and I look forward to the delicious food all day long. If the portion is too big, I take the rest home; it's still delicious the next day!

Unfortunately, the service staff was very unfriendly. We were obviously not welcome, as our sportswear probably didn't fit the clientele. Because we chose a table that hadn't been cleared yet, we were asked in a very rude manner why we wanted to sit there. We were then told that we could only get lasagna, even though the other tables were eating various other dishes. It's a shame that, right next to the sports facilities, people seem to judge by appearances.

The best, freshly cooked food, hospitable people who don't put on a front, but simply embrace their authenticity. These are Tommaso and Simone. We've already appreciated the cuisine and service at previous locations, and at our current location we've even hosted two large celebrations. We've always received good advice and were then pampered. You won't find any frills here. At Tommaso's, you'll find clear, fresh, and high-quality cuisine. Plus, a sense of humor and authentic people. Here, the owner cooks himself and doesn't have a large kitchen crew. It's not about "quick," it's about "tasty." For us, every visit is a mini vacation.

We went to Tommaso's with our regulars on Tuesday. As always, it was absolutely delicious and tasty! Italian cuisine at its finest. And his charming, refreshing manner alone makes it worth a visit.

A lovely, quiet, cozy atmosphere. Very friendly owners and staff. We only had a tea/coffee and the bruschetta starter. That alone was delicious! I'd be happy to come back.

The restaurant is part of the tennis courts, overall in a pleasant location in the countryside. The service was friendly, and the chef also came out later and asked the guests how they were doing. In addition to the normal menu, there were additional dishes on boards. The pizza with Parma and rocket and the pasta with vegetable sauce and burrata were very good. Seat cushions would be nice for outdoor use. Only cash payment is possible.

Best ragout in Iserlohn. The fish is always fresh and super tasty. Super nice atmosphere.

Today I had a very special experience. Tommaso, Iserlohn. Beef fillet with Gorgonzola sauce and pasta. €33.50, a proud price. The beef fillet, it was too thin to be fried medium, less than 2 cm, total weight estimated raw less than 150 g (favorable estimate). The gorgonzola sauce was plentiful, the pasta and fillet were successfully drowned. Overall, the dish was economical, meaning the main course wasn't enough to fill you up. Normally one main course is completely sufficient for me. Well, then I ordered a starter after the main course. Vitello tonnato. I know this from various other occasions. Today a completely new experience. Sprinkled with paprika, probably for color. Capers concentrated in the middle, sauce again was drowned in meat. But speaking of meat, shouldn't it be veal? Somehow the wafer-thin slices of meat tasted like roast pork and looked like it too. Strange. The price of 12.50 € was not impressive, rather completely wrong. While I'm at prices. Cash is real, there is no card payment. No recommendation, price/performance below ground, taste, it wasn't bad but certainly not good. Service cannot be evaluated if there is no service in a positive sense. Best regards

Super leckeres, original italienisch gekochtes Essen. Kleine Karte, die immer frisches Angebot aus der exzellenten Küche anbietet. Heute habe ich frische "Spaghetti Gittara" in original Carbonara gegessen. Mein Mann eine vorzügliche, auf den Punkt gegrillte "Tagliata" mit Rucola. Abgerundet haben wir das Essen mit einem sehr leckeren und toll dekorierten Tiramisu gekrönt. Es war wieder alles einfach super köstlich !! Dazu konnten wir noch bei dem herrlichen Wetter die Aussenterrasse nutzen. Himmlisch !!! Wir kommen bald wieder. Und das extra aus Dortmund angefahren. DER WEG LOHNT SICH

Das Essen war schmackhaft und gut-aber nicht überragend. Die Nudelgerichte waren mit frischen Nudeln zubereitet. Wir bestellten u.a. als Vorspeise Thunfischsalat, dabei wurde bei allen Salaten der Thunfisch vergessen. Wurde allerdings nachgeliefert. Kinderfreundlich war dieser Italiener allerdings nicht. Die Kinder durften die Gardinen nicht zu Seite halten, um in die Tennishalle zu schauen. Mußten sich ruhig auf den Stühlen verhalten. Der Chef Tommasso schien etwas überfordert zu sein. Man konnte auch für die vorgegebenen Pizzen keine Extrabeilagen bestellen-zu kompliziert-

Der beste Italiener der Stadt (mindestens). Tommaso ist mit Simone zurück in Iserlohn. Als Dortmunder muss ichleider sagen, da unser Weg jetzt deutlich weiter ist. Wunderbares essen, tolles Ambiente. Auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert. Zu finden ist Tommaso auf dem Gelände des Tennisplätze.
