Pizzeria Calabria in Iserlohn

Super delicious food, especially Arsim Plakolli, who is very friendly and personable. We've known him for years at Campus Garden Iserlohn. We always enjoy coming back; a true friendship has developed.

The pizza was tasteless and everything was soaked in too much cheese, which was of very poor quality. We ordered two items, and they turned out to be a complete disaster! The Coke wasn't brought in a "0.33" glass; it was poured into a glass and served, and the contents were completely flat, suggesting it was poured from a large bottle or mixed with water concentrate! If you're paying 3.5 euros for a glass, that's a bit of a shame. I don't recommend it!!!

How bad service can ruin an evening: After 15 minutes, the waiter finally came and took our drink order. Another 15 minutes later, after we had laboriously called for attention, the actual order arrived. Nothing complicated, just pizza, pasta, and salad. After waiting 45 minutes, I dared to ask if our order had been forgotten... how could I have expected a friendly response. Another 10 minutes later, the food finally arrived. Of course, there was nothing to complain about. The red wine we ordered, however, never arrived. No one asked if we wanted any other drinks, as there was plenty of time. Nor after the meal, whether we might like dessert or coffee to finish... A different waitress took the check. Conclusion: We won't go there again.

A very nice shop, with a truly wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was also super friendly, and the food was ready quickly! Highly recommended! 🥰

We had pizza, pasta with lamb, and a schnitzel. All three dishes were below our expectations. The schnitzel was fried so hard that it was almost impossible to cut, and the fries on the second, more tender schnitzel were oversalted. The pizza was well-topped, but very dry. The lamb in the pasta dish didn't taste like lamb at all, perhaps because the sauce was very intense and strongly reminiscent of a ready-made sauce. So, overall, unfortunately, it was very disappointing.

Highly recommended. The food was excellent. It was also very busy, especially since we were there on a Sunday. This meant that the noise level was a bit high, but that's probably normal. So, everything was good.

The capricious pizza is not made as it should be... it never contains eggs or anything else... it usually contains artichokes, ham, mushrooms, and olives....

I ordered a family pizza and was very disappointed! The pizza arrived 20 minutes late. When I called, I was told it was normal to wait a few minutes! I also ordered the pizza two hours in advance because I wanted to eat it on time. The pizza was a large pizza, but not a family-sized one. I won't order from there again and I don't recommend it! I'm simply disappointed...

So we'd love to come back!!! The dishes were very tasty, from starters, main courses and even dessert. A culinary delight! No matter whether pizza or pasta, good portion and reasonable price/performance. What could be improved if the service lady was a little friendlier, more attentive and didn't wait for our order with her hands under her apron.

If you're not a fan of traditional Italian cuisine, you'll be in good hands here. The service and ambiance are very good, and the food is also okay, but it's simple and not truly authentic Italian. It's a shame, but here, commercialism clearly takes precedence over passion. The selection of drinks and wines is good, so it's definitely recommended for a nice meal.

We find that the price/performance ratio does not match here. Pizzas + pasta are nothing special in terms of taste and unfortunately you don't get the high quality products that we expected for the price. -Parmesan shavings are charged an additional €3.50 -Oregano is not used at all In this price range we simply expected more and felt ripped off here. We go to Italian restaurants a lot, but this one isn't one for us and it was our last visit. Taste wise 3/5, standard lunch, nothing more and nothing less. Ambiance is nice 5/5 Service was standard 3/5

If you're looking for a restaurant that makes you feel really unwanted, then you've come to the right place! We, four women with a migrant background, were able to experience first hand what it feels like to be consistently ignored by the service. The waiters (with one notable exception) seem to be of the opinion that friendliness is completely overrated. As soon as we had the cards in our hands, we were literally pressured to order immediately - no time to think about it, that just gets in the way. When we still couldn't decide, the waitress left in annoyance. German guests, on the other hand, obviously received premium service including smiles and small talk. Maybe we missed the 'welcome' on the door. After what felt like hours, our casserole arrived, which unfortunately only passed as a 'soup' because the sauce was so runny. In terms of taste? Well, let's say: 'okay', but for 15 euros I definitely expected more than a culinary disappointment. For everyone who likes unfriendliness, waiting and liquid food: go ahead, this is your shop! Everyone else: better move on.”

Bitter disappointment paid 100 euros for 3 family pizzas. And only received 3 “jumbo” pizzas, no herb butter rolls or drinks. The pizzas were simply tiny for this price. 6 pizzas might have been reasonable for this price. Will never order here again *WARNING this was a rip off*!!!

Impudence! Ordered a pizza for 100 euros and not even a drink, let alone a reasonably sized family pizza! There were 3 large pizzas. If we had ordered 10 x 10 euro pizzas we would have had 3 times as much pizza. It's unbelievable what this pizzeria must be thinking. Rip off!

Since the owners changed, I can no longer recommend eating here. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right.

The three of us had dinner at Calabria today. The impression was mixed. The two pizzas were very tasty, large enough and the price was absolutely reasonable. My pasta dish tasted okay, but the price was rather high at €19. I personally didn't like the porcini mushrooms in it, even though I actually like eating them. I'm not so sure whether the beef used was actually fillet. If so, then it was definitely fried for too long and therefore a bit tough. As we all know, tastes are different, so everything is still good. When the bill came, however, disillusionment followed. 8 euros for a bottle of mineral water is a steep price. Of course we could have seen that from the map and been prepared for it. But I find it cheeky to charge an additional €2.50 for a spoonful of parmesan that was brought to me with my pasta when I asked. :-( I've never experienced anything like this anywhere before. To end on a positive note: The service was good - very friendly and attentive.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente mit freundlicher und zuvorkommender Bedienung. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Egal ob es Pasta oder Pizza sein darf. Auch die Fleischgerichte brauchen sich nicht verstecken. Das Ganze wird auf Hübsch dekorierten tellern serviert. Von der Nachspeise brauch ich nicht zu schwärmen, den die ist hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Von meiner Seite empfehle ich die Pizzeria Calabria sehr gerne weiter.

Sehr enttäuschend. Wäre nicht mal so schlimm gewesen aber wenn der Service sich dann auch noch null Kritik annimmt die sehr wohl freundlich vorgetragen wurde fehlen einem die Worte. Wenn man wirklich nur eine Pizza essen mag bestimmt OK aber von dem Fisch z.B sollte man die Finger lassen. 25 Euro für so einen Teller den man Zuhause wahrscheinlich für 4 Euro im EK dann noch selber schmackhafter zubereiten kann. Schweinemedaillons waren ziemlich blutig und Pommes triefend vor Fett. Wie gesagt kann alles passieren aber wenn der Service fragt ob es geschmeckt hat muss dieser auch mit einer ehrlichen Antwort leben können.

Insgesamt waren wir Recht zufrieden. Nur ein Punkt Abzug für das argentinische Steak, mein Mann, Argentinier, meinte es war kein echtes argentinisches Fleisch. Ich hatte schon Mal argentinisches Fleisch in Argentinien und auch hier von der Metro gegessen und leider schmeckte das Steak, zwar ok, war aber nicht argentinisch... Brokkoli Auflauf, Pasta und Pizza waren gut, aber auch nicht überwältigend. Antipasti sehr lecker.Service war 1a.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant könnte man sagen. Essen gut, Bedienung immer freundlich und Ambiente schön. Was will man also mehr. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne hin.

Pizza Calabria in Letmathe ist für mich die beste Pizzeria. Der Service, es kann noch so stressig sein so was von freundlich und höflich sieht und hat man nicht mehr überall. Das Essen egal was man isst lecker. Das Ambiente sehr gepflegt,ansprechend und sauber. Ich würde auch 10 Sterne geben wenn ich könnte. Macht genau so weiter👍

Das Ambiente draußen zu sitzen ist so lala…., ist eben an der Straße mit Durchgangsverkehr von Autos 🚘 und Bussen 🚌 geprägt, drinnen wohl angenehmer. Das die Preis, wie in jedem Lokal auch mittlerweile teuer sind, dürfte wohl bekannt sein. ▶️ Pizza Sole Mio: €14,50 ▶️ Nudelgericht/Verdure al Forno: €12,90 ▶️ kleiner Salat: €5,50 ▶️ Wasser 0,25l : €2,90 ▶️ Wein 0,2 l : €6,20 ▶️ Hefeweizen 0,5l : €4,90 Alles zusammen hat es für uns zwei €46,90 gekostet. Ich rechne immer noch in D-Mark um und bin anschließend entsetzt über die Preise…..

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Personal freundlich. Essen gibt es sowohl vor Ort als auch zum mitnehmen. Mittagstisch Preise gelten nur bei bei Mitnahme!
