Es war wunderbar,und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kaffe mit Waffeln,Vanilleeis und heiße Kirschen auch sehr gut. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit dort gefeiert. Es wurde sich rund um die uhr um uns gekümmert, das Buffet Essen war immer pünktlich und wirklich schön angerichtet. Unsere Gäste waren Begeistert. Der Gemietete Raum wurde genau nach unseren vorstellungen vom personal Dekoriert, was uns einige sorgen und arbeit abnahm (so Dankbar dafür). Die mitarbeiter waren super aufmerksam und haben immer nachgefragt ob noch etwas fehlt. Der gemietete Raum hatte eine angemessene miete und war klimatisiert,was alle gäste sehr geschätzt haben. Alles in allem würden wir immer wieder dort feiern oder essen. Einfach klasse dort gewesen! Danke an das Kühl Team, für unsere unvergessliche feier bei euch!

2026 Update We love it! 2023 Mitten im Wald gelegenes, hochwertiges Restaurant mit köstlichen "Wild" Gerichten, vielem anderen und auch vegetarischen Köstlichkeiten. Selbst an warmen Sommertagen ist es hier immer "kühl" im Kühl. Kleiner Spielplatz für die Kids direkt neben der Außenterasse. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten am 4. Juli 2026 eine absolute Traumhochzeit im Kühl. Freie Trauung direkt am Haus in wunderschöner Kulisse. Das Servicepersonal war echt auf Zack, extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen top! Der Chef geht auf alle Wünsche ein, keine versteckten Kosten im Nachhinein. Heiraten im Kühl können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Fahrt hin und guckt euch die Location an - wahnsinnig toll!

Leider waren wir vom Service sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten unseren Geburtstagstorte mitgebracht und das Personal gebeten, sie im Kühlschrank aufzubewahren. Als die Torte serviert wurde, kam sie noch in der Verpackung. Es wurden weder Teller noch Besteck bereitgestellt. Wir mussten zunächst nach Tellern fragen, und ein Messer zum Anschneiden der Torte wurde uns überhaupt nicht gebracht. Am Ende mussten wir die Torte mit einer Gabel schneiden. Für ein Restaurant dieser Preisklasse hätten wir deutlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit und einen besseren Service erwartet.

Hallo Ich mit 2 Personen Essen Ambiente sehr schön Karten und Getränke sehr schnell bekommen 🙂 aber dann das Essen 😪 Wenn man Stek bestellt und bekommt ein Stück Fleisch der hart ist wie eine Schuhsohle dann stimmt da was nicht!!! Gast den ich eingeladen habe bakamm Spargel die holzig waren 🤣🤣 auf mein 2 bestellten Bier habe ich 20 Minuten gewartet auf das Bestellte Menü fast 1 Stunde Sorry Leute ich war dort letztes Mal MfG

Wir haben heute Abend hier gegessen und waren total begeistert. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam und immer ein Witz auf Lager. 😊 Das Essen hat uns allen (6 Personen) sehr gut geschmeckt. Alle Soßen sind glutenfrei, was mich persönlich wirklich total begeistert hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und würden dieses Restaurant zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Durch Zufall entdeckt – mitten im Wald gelegen und absolut idyllisch. Wir haben nur den Außenbereich genutzt und einen schönen Platz in der Sonne bekommen. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, leckerer Kaffee, schmackhafte Waffeln und Käsekuchen. Die gepflegte Außenanlage mit Teich und Spielplatz lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir kommen gern wieder, um auch die Speisekarte zu testen. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Ein wunderschönes Lokal mit gehobener, oft saisonaler, Gastronomie sowie Wildgerichten.( auf Sonder-Speisekarte). Die Bedienung ist freundlich und Aufmerksam. Plätze findet man im Innen und Außenbereich. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Meine schwangere Frau hat sich Spargel mit Sauce Hollandaise bestellt. Soweit so gut. Leider war in der Sauce Alkohol. Leider wurde vom Service Personal nicht professionell reagiert. Bei den Preisen und der Location erwarten wir besseres. Wir hoffen das dies eine Anregung zur Nachbesserung ist!

Zum wiederholten Male haben wir mit dem "Jagdhaus im Kühl" eine hervorragende Wahl zum Essen und Treffen im privaten Kreis getroffen!!! Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und mir wurden vom Service sogar noch Kroketten nachgedacht - sehr gerne kommen wir wieder!!!

Absolute Empfehlung für Liebhaber des Waldes und Wildfeinschmecker. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, das Essen war sehr schnell und heiß am Platz. Es war sehr gut zubereitet, nicht übergart und einfach nur lecker. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich habe nur kurz gegoogelt, wo wir gut essen könnten. Und wir wurden fündig! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker; schließlich war der Laden ja nicht umsonst so voll. Ich hoffe, die Bedienung ist normalerweise gut gelaunt. Nicht, dass sie unfreundlich gewesen wäre, aber sie hat die volle Punktzahl nicht ganz erreicht. Schade, sonst wären drei von fünf Sternen schön gewesen.

Ambiente passt zum Jagdhaus Im Kühl. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke, vor allem Wildgerichte... und geschmacklich ein Träumchen. 100% Empfehlung und ein Muß und Genuss für Liebhaber von Wildgerichten. Wir waren als Gruppe mit 10 Leuten da, Essen war für 8 von 10 gut. Leider war das Medium bestellte Steak eher Medium Rare und der Lachs dafür etwas zu lange in der Pfanne.

Ruhige Umgebung, nicht leicht zu finden. Ambiente ist geschmackvoll im Jagdhausstil. Ordentliche Portionen die kaum zu bewältigen sind. Große Auswahl an Gerichten und es ist auch etwas für Veganer und Vegetarier dabei. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Nicht vergessen Tisch vorbestellen.... ist zu empfehlen.

Es gibt noch genug auf der Speicherkarte was wir ausprobieren wollen. Ich empfehle einen Tisch zu reservieren, besser ist.

A fantastic restaurant with excellent game dishes, fish, goose, and vegetarian options. It's a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip… all dishes were piping hot and the portions were very generous. The service was very friendly. We were thrilled and will definitely be back.

Our dinner at the Jagdhaus im Kühl restaurant unfortunately started with a major inconvenience: our GPS led us down an unpaved forest track – an absolute disaster. And we weren't the only ones affected: two cars belonging to guests at the next table also had to take this route and nearly got stuck in the mud. One seriously wonders why this road isn't closed or at least clearly marked with a sign. When we finally arrived, relieved, a woman immediately came running towards us outside, shouting loudly and complaining about why we had parked in the disabled parking space and whether we hadn't seen the sign. Neither was there a sign visible in the dark, nor was the parking space clearly marked as such. The woman shouted after us and finally said aggressively that since it was empty anyway, we were allowed to park there as an exception. We moved our car – but at that moment, we seriously considered leaving the restaurant immediately. The waitstaff, on the other hand, were exceptionally friendly, professional, and calming. They made a real effort to defuse the situation, for which we were grateful. We later learned from the restaurant management that the unfriendly woman was the owner's wife – who was apparently quite arrogant. Despite the good service, we've decided we won't be returning to this restaurant.

I've known the hunting lodge for many years. Fantastic food, very attentive staff, and a stylish hunting lodge atmosphere. Anyone who enjoys game will be in excellent hands here; I'll gladly return.

It's deteriorated significantly in recent years, the service is unfriendly, and the portions are small and the selection is awful. I never would have thought it could decline so much after more than 20 years.

Having recently eaten there, I would give it an overall rating of satisfactory. The service lacked a touch of friendliness. A smile instead of the artificial coolness and superficiality would have been welcome. A bit too forced. The food was okay. Satisfactory. Not good, not bad.

The Jagdhaus im Kühl in Iserlohn is a real insider tip for me. The quiet location surrounded by greenery immediately promotes relaxation, and the rustic ambiance perfectly complements the regional cuisine. The game dishes, in particular, are excellently prepared. Friendly service rounds out the visit.

We were there in the afternoon for a slice of cake. We had a lovely outdoor seating area. It was in the middle of the forest, beautifully situated.

It's a shame the menu has been cut back, much to the detriment of the restaurant. Overall, the quality hasn't changed much, although you can't help but suspect that something is missing. The only real consistency is the service, which is always attentive and friendly.

We made a last-minute reservation, and they added an extra table to accommodate us. The service was very quick and super friendly, and the food (we had the Hubertus platter) was simply divine. We'd love to come back.

Anyone who likes rustic decor and game will definitely enjoy this place. The location is beautifully secluded in the forest with a small lake and access to forest paths. There's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. The drinks selection is good, but the Sunday menu is quite limited. Almost every dish has mushrooms, and there's one(!) vegetarian dish, made with goat cheese, which was absolutely delicious, but not to everyone's liking. But that's to be expected in a hunting lodge, and special requests are taken care of (vegetables for the little ones, canceled orders, etc.). However, the ambiance was somewhat dampened by the crowded restaurant and stressed waiters. A young, new waitress was criticized by her boss in front of us as guests, and it was pointed out that we should leave the table quite soon so the table could be set for the evening. Furthermore, the waiter's door was open to the outside, and we were greeted by smoke from outside. A real shame. Not for me as a vegetarian, but I understand why many people like it here.

Four of us were there yesterday, Sunday, and had a lovely table in the large outdoor area (with a reservation). In short: There was absolutely nothing to complain about and it was excellent in every respect. From the beautiful ambiance, the absolutely attentive and super-friendly service, the drinks and the extensive menu to the quality of the ordered dishes and the speed of service, it was perfect in every respect. The menu offers numerous game specialties, but even those who don't like game have a wide selection of alternatives. My "pulled venison bowl with steakhouse fries" was sensationally good, and I would order it again anytime. The fruit schnapps from the local gourmet manufacturer in Hemer rounded off an excellent meal. A lovely evening, and we'll definitely be back soon. Thank you very much! 🙏

For my wife's 65th birthday, we had reserved a table for 12 people. Unfortunately, three people canceled shortly beforehand – which can happen with guests well over 80. When we reported this to the waitress, Ms. Drews, we were treated in a manner I've never experienced before. Her tone and manner of address were degrading. We would have preferred to leave immediately. This behavior from Ms. Drews continued throughout our entire stay. About 15 minutes after we had paid and left, my cell phone rang. Ms. Drews called and said she had booked the last drink order for the wrong table and that we should come back to pay for these drinks. Luckily, we were still in the parking lot because we were chatting with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and we were able to pay the remaining €24.20 without much hassle. We've been to Kühl a few times, but we've never encountered anyone like Ms. Drews.

There were eight of us for a birthday party. The food was excellent. One meal never arrived. No one asked for more drinks. When we didn't want the missing food, despite prior notice and long after everyone had finished, we were completely ignored. An unprofessional response to our own mistakes. Unacceptable at that price point. Instead of double-paying for the cooler, we moved the party to a private location. That's definitely a no-go for me in the future.

We celebrated our wedding at the Jagdhaus – and it was simply perfect, from the planning stage to the very last moment. The entire team was passionate about it; you could really feel that everyone enjoyed the event. The person who helped us plan the event was particularly committed and reliable. The food was outstanding, and individual requests were accommodated even at short notice – truly first-class service! If we could celebrate our wedding again, we would do it right there again. A huge thank you to the entire team at the Jagdhaus im Kühl – you made our day unforgettable!

Ebenfalls war das Essen sehr lecker und wurde sowohl von uns als auch von unseren Gästen in höchsten Tönen gelobt. Wenn wir uns erneut für eine Location für unsere Hochzeit entscheiden müssten, so würden wir immer wieder ins Jagdhaus im Kühl gehen. The best game restaurant in the area. Venison saddle, venison steak, Hubertus platter, or salad with salmon... everything is top-notch, excellent service. Friendly staff, beautiful views of nature. We recommend it in both winter and summer.

Let's start with the wonderful location. A truly beautiful piece of land in the beautiful Iserlohn Forest. An inviting and sunny terrace. The interior feels a bit like a hunting lodge, but the menu offers excellent game specialties. The other dishes, including starters and desserts, are also freshly prepared and delicious. For the little ones, there's a playground and ponds, as well as an enclosure to explore. Add to that the super friendly and very attentive staff. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The prices are completely reasonable, and the portions are generous. It's definitely worth stopping by. Perhaps after or during a wonderful hike through the beautiful Sauerland region.

We were there this afternoon to celebrate my cousin's birthday. The food was delicious, although the portions of the croquettes and spaetzle were a bit small compared to the amount of sauce in the main course. Since it was a special occasion, we had hoped that it would be possible to organize a small dessert for the birthday girl as a welcome gift from the kitchen. However, this kind of customer service isn't available at this restaurant, which surprised us, as the prices aren't the cheapest. Otherwise, the service was very attentive and always friendly.

An absolutely lovely evening with truly amazing food. The starter, main course, and dessert were all simply divine. The service was also excellent, and the time between meals was also very good, not too long, but with a short break. We will definitely be coming here again.

A cozy restaurant with excellent game dishes! You can go for a wonderful walk, but you can also celebrate family celebrations 🎉 you can take a nice circular walk from Dortmunder Straße, from there you can also walk to the hunting lodge in Kühl, you could drink coffee on the beautiful terrace...

Went to the hunting lodge on a recommendation and wanted to treat ourselves to a special lunch on May 1st. We sat in a large dining room that had absolutely no flair. The table was too small for 4 people and the chairs were uncomfortable. The dining room was so carelessly designed that you couldn't really feel comfortable. The food itself matched the first impression. Considering we ate game, the food wasn't particularly aromatic. The asparagus cream soup as a starter was relatively thin/watery. All in all disappointing. By the way, the Sunday menu was served on the holiday, which was correspondingly shortened compared to the online menu.

The food is OK, nothing more and nothing less. Unfortunately it is a bit too expensive for that.

Wir haben den 85sten Geburtstag meiner Mutter mit insgesamt 11 Personen gefeiert. Bedienung hervorragend, sehr zuvorkommend!!! Aufgrund der vielen Gäste dauerte es, bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen werden konnte, aber die Speisen wurden dann recht zügig gereicht! War verständlich... Leider keine Möglichkeit einen "Seniorenteller" zu bestellen. Darauf, dass Senioren i.d.R. weniger Appetit haben, wird in der Speisenkarte (und auch auf spezielle Nachfrage) keine Rücksicht genommen. Haben in der Vergangenheit auch hier schon qualitativ besseres Essen bekommen. Insbesondere das Wildragout war recht von Fett durchzogen, Soßen "recht dünn" und das Rumpsteak war "zu gar" Selbstverständlich mussten alle Gastronomen ihre Preise erhöhen. Dass sich dadurch auch die Preise für den Gast erhöhen, ist auch klar. Jedoch sollte die Qualität zumindest gleich bleiben. Habe ich hier leider vermisst.... Schade...

Well I have to say, what I heard in advance was 💯% right! The food was of top quality, the waitresses were always attentive and very nice!!! The ambience inside and outside represents exactly what it should be... A hunting lodge. 👍 Definitely recommended and it wasn't the last time we were there. Promised! Update Valentine's Day: As always, very friendly and accommodating! Food was delicious as expected! 2 small points of criticism: The heating at our table was a bit too warm and the plates didn't come to the table preheated, so the delicious sauce got cold relatively quickly.
