Delicious food and large portion. Even though it was full, the staff was friendly, attentive and quick.

Great atmosphere, super friendly boss (real Greek), great service and real Greek food, always happy!

Went there specifically, it wasn't open

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first, but over the course of the evening (Christmas party) I particularly enjoyed the excellent service and the really good food. Always attentive, very friendly and not at all fake or annoyed, even though it was very full, we were always provided with the drinks we wanted very quickly. Dessert crowned the end of the evening. We have already booked the next appointment.

We had dinner there yesterday and everything was perfect. Perfect sums everything up. Always my pleasure.

Cozy restaurant, very Greek. Tasty food, cozy, you can sit at the counter to just drink a beer or eat in a cozy atmosphere. Friendly service, we were definitely not there for the last time!👍

A really nice place and great people

This inconspicuous pub (what a stupid term) surprised me a lot and convinced me as well. The service was very attentive, quick, friendly and quick. The food also came out of the kitchen quickly and was rich and tasty. Clear recommendation for the “Hennes” in Iserlohn.

Gerne hätten wir das neue Hennes heute getestet, hatten auch eine Woche vorher einen Tisch um 17.00 Uhr für 4 Personen persönlich vor Ort reserviert. Beim Eintreffen heute sagte man uns dann, wir könnten aber nur bis 19.00 Uhr bleiben, das hätte man schließlich am Telefon gesagt😳! An einer Aufklärung lag dem Herren auch nichts! Danke für nichts „Hennes“😡 Im Übrigen ist die Bewertung noch nicht mal „ungenügend“, leider war ein „Nichts“ nicht auf der Bertungsskala!

Super nice staff. Attentive and courteous. The ambience is okay, but when it comes to the food it is unfortunately very disappointing. There were three of us there. Had the Champion Schnitzel once, the Paprika Schnitzel once and the Gambas Pasta once. Unfortunately, all three dishes were poor. The schnitzels were extremely fatty. The fried potatoes that came with it were too, and unfortunately they weren't crispy at all. Let alone the bacon that was incorporated into it. He was limp. The portions are very small, but they are comparatively very expensive. The taste of the Champion Sousse is completely missing. Unfortunately, the plate wasn't beautifully presented either, so you didn't even get the feeling that at least an effort was made. Actually, it's a shame. This bar seems to be popular. Probably mainly for drinking beer. But unfortunately my Starnberger had not been tapped beforehand to get the stagnant draft out of the tap, or the barrel was simply no longer the freshest. A tavern should of course be able to handle this and at least have the taste quality of the beer constantly on the screen. So unfortunately a disappointing visit in many respects. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is simply not right here. I would actually only give 2 stars, but I would rather see this as constructive criticism and not influence the rating too negatively. If the staff weren't so friendly, I would even consider giving it just one star. I hope it's an unfortunate isolated case.

Good restaurant on the edge of the Iserlohn market square. Nice host and nice seating outside. Super freshly prepared tasty food!!! Real home cooking!!! 👍 Recommended!!!

Impossible. Had reservations for Thursday July 27th, 2023. We stood in front of a locked door. He also didn't open his business because of the canceled Iserlohn Festival. Hospitality is different! The following opening times are listed on his homepage: Tuesday 11-21 ; Wed-Thurs.11-23 ;Fri-Sat.11-1. That fits perfectly with his statement that he only opens on Fridays and Saturdays. He will never see us or many of our other friends again. Things used to go well with his wife. If you don't want to be disappointed, it's better to stay away from HENNES!

Einer der wenigen Gaststätten wo das Bier frischgezapft wirklich richtig lecker schmeckt. Zapfen ist eine Kunst, die nicht alle Gastronomen beherrschen... Die bürgerliche Küche ist ebenfalls hervorragend und nur zu empfehlen. Ganz besonders freue ich mich auf die sonnigen Tage des Jahres, wenn man dort abends in der Außengastronomie mit der Abendsonne den Tag ausklingen lassen kann... Ich bin sehr gerne Doris & Peter

Kennt ihr das? Man kommt in eine Wirtschaft und fühlt sich wie im eigenen Wohnzimmer. Das Hennes ist gemütlich, serviert gutes handgemachtes Essen und hat einen freundlichen Wirt. Ich war mit meiner Frau zufällig dort und werde bestimmt wieder kommen.

Sehr schöne kleine Wirtschaft mit sehr freundlichem Service. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Immer wieder gerne... 👍

Hier kann man auch super essen. Abends wird natürlich gern Bier ausgeschenkt und man kann schön zusammen sitzen. Das ist ein super Laden (Übrigens Kompliment an den Koch, das Schnitzel war super)

und es hat uns wieder sehr gut geschmeckt. Man sitzt dort sehr angenehm draußen und wird nett und zuvorkommend bedient. Nur das Bier aus der Heimat Iserlohn "Waldstadt-Pils" gibt es dort leider immer noch nicht.

Essen sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Kartoffelecken beim Burger waren selbst gemacht und mal was anderes. Da wird nochmal bestellt. Am Telefon und an der Haustür sehr freundlich.

Hervorragende Qualität der Speisen, stets sehr lecker, schmeckt frisch gekocht. Immer wieder wechselnde Highlights auf der kleinen Speisekarte und sehr freundliche Wirtsleute. Ein echter kulinarischer Lichtblick - nicht nur in Corona-Zeiten 😋

Sind schon vor dem Lockdown immer wieder gerne im Hennes gewesen. Heute haben wir dann mal den Mitnahme-Service ausprobiert. Das Essen (Gänsekeule/Klöße/Rotkohl und Portweinpflaumen) war einfach super und auch hervorragend verpackt. Einfach lecker!!!!

eine Kneipe mit leckerem Essen wie man sich dies so vorstellt. Es fehlt nur noch das leckere Iserlohner Waldstadtpils. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen.

Freundliche Bedienung, nettes Lokal. Super für ein gemütliches Zusammensitzen beim Bierchen oder auch mal um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Die Schankwirtschaft ist sehr modern aufgebaut, die Atmosphäre ist super. Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert!

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend im Hennes. Zu leckerem Essen hatten wir nette Wirte und hervorragenden Weißwein. Als gebürtiger Iserlohner definitiv ein schöner Tipp für einen gemütlichen Abend.

Wir haben hier unser Klassentreffen gehabt und es war super. Das Krüstchen war, wie gefordert, eine Kruste, das Bier war gut und auch der Schnaps hat geschmeckt. Sehr schöner Abend! Warum fiel das Aufstehen am nächsten morgen nur so schwer? :-)

Wir haben wiederholt sehr gut gegessen Allerdings sind die Portionen nicht sehr gross, gerade so an der Grenze. Von dem große Salat kann man leider nicht satt werden. Geschmacklich allerdings top.
