A beautifully located hotel, perfectly integrated into the area, with well-kept greenery around. An ideal place for walks. Delicious, very varied breakfasts. Nice sauna area and nice swimming pool. A huge plus is the opportunity to make a cup of tea in the SPA zone. Minus for the lack of such an option in the room and for the lack of carpeting by the bed (tiles on the floor take away the coziness).

I really liked everything about the hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern. The wellness area and pool were also clean and nice. However, I deducted one star because we only came to the bar at 12:30 a.m. and wanted to have a cocktail. There were a lot of people there and everyone was drinking, but the bartender told us (after 5 minutes of ignorance, even though we were standing right in front of the bar) that the bar was no longer open, as if we were homeless people who had just come off the street to drink. It wasn't nice when everyone else was having fun and we had to leave. We also received an email today saying that a hairdryer cover that wasn't there had been stolen. I still remember that the hairdryer was lying on the shelf in the bathroom without a cover.

We treated ourselves to a wellness day. The spa area with swimming pool and sauna is modern, clean and not too crowded. There are plenty of ways to relax. Dinner in the fat forester wasn't quite to our taste. The breakfast in the Fetten Förster had a very large selection. But the rolls were very hard. We liked it and would come back.

I have stayed at the Hotel VierSeasons many times. Today, after 7 nights in 7 cities and 7 beds, I wanted to write a short report. I stayed in one of the new rooms in the Haus am Wald. 1. Best bed – With the extra length and the top mattress, there is no compromise on my sleeping comfort. Reading lamps and various plugs on the bed give the traveler options for charging their cell phones etc. The view of the greenery from the bed is the icing on the cake. 2. Best bathroom - A beautiful rain shower, stylish tiled washbasin table, large mirror, separate toilet and various soaps, lotions, ... definitely leave nothing to be desired for me. 3. Best service - You will meet the hotel staff throughout the house and a friendly greeting is always the beginning of further conversations if you need something, want to order, have questions... Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I wasn't able to take advantage of the entire range of offerings in the house (wellness area, pool, restaurants, bar, coffee roastery, shop, etc.) during this visit. With the beautiful room, it's difficult for me to leave the room and check out. Top hotel – top service – top style

We have been here several times for a short wellness weekend, which has always been very pleasant. This weekend January 24th - January 26th, 2025, however, we had to experience something that we cannot accept in a hotel because it is absolutely unfriendly. This was about a complaint - management and specifically about the behavior of the reception, as the room cleaning was not carried out. After we returned to the room on Friday, towards the evening, we discovered that the cleaning staff had not carried out the room service. This was communicated to the reception by telephone and they immediately discussed with us whether we had set the room cleaning sign to green, etc .. Actually a NO GO to deal with complaints in such a way that we felt as if we still had to explain ourselves. The employee, Ms. Koch, assured us that she would clarify the matter and that she would get back to us. The following day, the day of departure, we had to actively talk to the lady at reception about the incident and then hear that the ladies in the room cleaning department had been told by us that we didn't want the room to be cleaned, which wasn't true, but The lady from room service didn't speak enough German to understand that we wanted to go for breakfast first at 9:00 a.m. and that she would be happy to come back around 11:00 a.m. to do the cleaning. All in all, mistakes can happen, it's human, but Ms. Koch's reaction defies description, this is definitely not how you treat guests, there is obviously a clear need for further training here, I recommend a course in NLP - neuro-linguistic - programming . Not a nice experience for us and we will definitely think about whether we will do wellness here again, because there are still enough competitors on the market and for a price of around €500 for 2 nights, a different way of dealing with guests can be expected, although that shouldn't be dependent on money and shouldn't give the feeling that you want to get something out of it, but obviously it doesn't bother the operators. Reaction to Ms. Alexandra Schenk's reply: Dear Ms. Schenk, unfortunately you misunderstood us. After the misunderstanding, we called reception on Friday evening and were told that there was no room service. The lady at the reception told us that she would clarify the matter and then get back to you. Your employee did not provide any feedback; instead, we had to proactively address the matter with reception the next morning. What really annoyed us here is that your employee started discussing things with us, see recession. This discussion effort by your employee annoyed us very much, because she presented it as if it were our fault that housekeeping went wrong, which annoyed us very much and in no case did the attention you mentioned was given, which is an allegation seems extremely strange, because if you had shown your gratitude, the matter would of course have been put to rest.

**Nice hotel with unfortunately unpleasant sauna experience** We have always really appreciated this hotel: the rooms are beautiful and the service is always top. In the past we have always had great experiences, but unfortunately on January 25th, 2025 there was a very unpleasant situation that overshadowed our stay. We were in the sauna when the gentleman doing the infusions suddenly became very rude and aggressive. He asked us to undress completely, even though we were wearing a towel - which we had previously checked with reception and no concerns were raised there. The employee insisted that we should be completely nudist, but he himself walked around the sauna in street clothes, which was very contradictory for us. The situation escalated when he finally kicked us out of the sauna. It was a very unpleasant and disrespectful experience that we did not expect. Even after complaining to management, the incident was passed on because the gentleman simply wanted to remove us from the entire sauna area without explanation and in a very unprofessional manner. It is a great shame that this incident has marred our otherwise positive experience with the hotel. I hope that such incidents will be handled better in the future so that guests can continue to have the pleasant stay that we are used to.

A very nice hotel with a great team that is happy to help. The rooms are clean and it is very invitingly decorated. You immediately feel at home when you come into the room.

Overnight stay in the new house by the forest. New modern rooms, new modern sauna area that leaves nothing to be desired. The new steam bath is particularly noteworthy here. Simply outstanding. Service: customer-oriented, friendly but not intrusive, every wish was fulfilled. Thank you for a great and relaxing time, we will definitely come back. ❤️

We spent two nights in the TREEconomy room as part of the “Relax Weekend Package” including breakfast, sauna and dinner. The room was stylishly furnished and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even before booking with telephone queries). The breakfast buffet was excellent, the dinner in the hotel's restaurant "Fetter Förster" was excellent and the dinner in the "Wilden Ente" was, apart from the incredibly delicate starter, unfortunately only mediocre. The sauna area also offered everything we wanted. So overall it was a very nice weekend, in a great hotel with staff that gave you the impression that you enjoy your job. You feel welcome!

Small, pleasant wellness area with the wonderful infusion master Holger, who takes on his task with commitment and affection. Very mindful and relaxing days spent there. What can definitely be improved for this hotel is the offer and flexibility with regard to vegetarian diets. While the meat dishes in the restaurant are "impressive" - ​​visually and how the components on the menu read - we had to make do with a "simple" curry (Fetter Förster) and salad and penne with cream sauce (Wild Duck). We expected a little more in terms of cuisine. The room in the TREEconomy category was a highlight and was equipped to a high standard. Fresh, self-roasted coffee provided in the room included. The service throughout the entire hotel is highly commendable.

We booked an overnight stay in the new room and were thrilled. The wellness area turned out great and the highlight was the sauna master who was very enthusiastic. But the rest of the staff was friendly as always.

I had the pleasure of experiencing an infusion from sauna master Holger at the Hotel 4 Seasons - and it was simply world class! I have never experienced such a pleasant and contemplative infusion. Holger manages to create a perfect atmosphere and make the guests completely satisfied. Absolutely recommended – thank you for this great experience!

We were really pleasantly surprised. The hotel is modern and well-equipped - I found it particularly pleasant that you can make coffee from your own roastery in your room in the morning and look out into the beautiful forest. We had a Treeconomy room with a beautiful bathroom and very modern facilities, one of the best rooms I've ever had for the money. You can even hear owls there at night, which is really something different. The WiFi was fast, and the smart TVs for streaming are a big plus - you can tell that the hotel is moving with the times. The staff was young, friendly and very motivated, which made the stay really pleasant. At the beginning we were very nicely shown around the hotel where we were told a few facts, a small but very nice gesture that you took the time for it. Spa area: The spa is modern and spacious, and although it was busy, there was never a feeling of being “too crowded”. The highlight was the infusion - we have never experienced such quality in any other hotel, and a big thank you goes to Holger, who made the infusion really special. Also that you can do the whole thing on the day of departure. We found it very good to be able to spend the day in the spa area and then drive home relaxed. A few small improvements would be helpful: It would be good if there were colored clips or the room number on the towels and bathrobes to avoid confusion, which happened often. More cushions for the loungers in the pool area would also be practical, as only every third or fourth lounger had one. A hot tub would be the icing on the cake. Otherwise, the spa area is definitely recommended for hotel guests. Eating at the Wild Duck: We only ate in the “Wilde Ente” restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The price-performance ratio is really good and the portion sizes are enough to fill you up. The staff here was also very friendly and accommodating, and table requests were taken into account. The only suggestion for improvement: A little more relaxed music would fit the ambience better than the current radio music. Conclusion: We will definitely come back. A well-run hotel with well thought-out details and great service and an extremely good price-performance ratio.

We stayed at the hotel for a long spa weekend and booked the suite with its own steam sauna, which was really a highlight! The room was very modern. The only point of criticism: A topper on the bed would have been nice, as there would then have been no “crack for visitors”. The beds were still very comfortable and comfortable. Otherwise the team was very friendly and the breakfast was also very tasty. Right next to the hotel there is a forest where you can go for a wonderful walk. It was a really nice, relaxing weekend!

A very nice hotel in a quiet location. Unfortunately there is not much to see from the hotel of Seilersee. But in my opinion that's not a big problem. The staff is friendly, helpful. Excellent food and drinks. The hotel also has a rustic restaurant. Wild duck. There is very tasty food there for every taste. Young staff Always up for jokes.

We went to this hotel for coffee this afternoon. That morning I asked whether the cake was offered by the city's tried-and-tested confectioner. This was clearly promised, but unfortunately this was not the case. I asked the waitress on site and the first thing she told me was that it was like that. When I asked further questions, she admitted that some of the cakes were not from this pastry chef and in the end she said only one cake was from the well-known pastry shop. Unfortunately, this was not the case, because anyone who can distinguish between these cakes will notice the difference very quickly. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly good today either; we mostly had to wait a long time for our orders and the last two drinks weren't served at all. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with today's visit and actually know it better as regular guests. Best regards

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share my mixed impressions. The staff was simply fantastic - friendly, accommodating and always ready to help you with any questions or requests. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service in the restaurant. The food was an absolute highlight of my stay. The dishes were not only excellent in terms of taste, but also varied. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the rooms. These were disappointingly old-fashioned and in desperate need of renovation. The furniture seemed worn and the entire interior was definitely past its best. The rooms do not exude the comfort and modernity that you would expect from a hotel with such high standards. It would be nice if the hotel invested in modernizing the rooms to meet the high standards of the staff and cuisine. Overall the stay was okay, but the outdated rooms would make me think twice about coming back. If the hotel would work on the amenities it would be a great place to stay.

A very nice hotel with a great location. A little more expensive but everything you need for a nice stay is there. I had a double room for single use directly under the roof. Without air conditioning it would have been too warm. There is sufficient parking space. The breakfast was plentiful but also very expensive. All in all a very nice stay.

A very nice and well-located hotel in Iserlohn. The food in the Fetter Förster restaurant was very tasty! Both breakfast and evening menu. The wellness area is absolutely top class. The service and the ambience were very pleasant! The only point of criticism is that the room in business class is no longer up to date.

Already had a short vacation in this beautiful hotel twice. Last week we spontaneously stopped in for coffee and cake. Everything is just perfect! We'll be back soon. But then again with overnight stays. ☺

The hotel met all of our expectations. We had a very nice and modern room with a great view and a nice roof terrace. The wellness area is great, with a panoramic sauna, one side of which only consists of a large window pane that allows a view of the beautiful landscape. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, it can be taken indoors or on a beautiful terrace. I could go on raving about the beautiful bathroom with the great rain shower, for example, but then the review would be too long. You have to experience it for yourself!

My stay at the Hotel VierSeason was simply excellent and far exceeded my expectations of a 4-star hotel. From the first minute I felt welcome and in good hands. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and always strives to fulfill guests' every wish. Check-in was smooth and quick and I was provided with all the important information. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The tasteful furnishings and high-quality materials created a pleasant atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the little details like the fresh flowers and daily room cleaning. The hotel complex offers numerous amenities. The wellness area is luxurious and invites you to relax. The sauna and swimming pool are perfect for relaxing after a long day. The fitness studio is also well-equipped and modern. The breakfast buffet was an absolute highlight. The selection was huge and the quality of the food was excellent. Fresh fruits, delicious baked goods and a large selection of hot and cold dishes left nothing to be desired. The in-house restaurant also impresses with excellent cuisine and first-class service. The hotel's location is ideal for both business travelers and holidaymakers. It is centrally located, with good access to public transport and many attractions nearby. All in all, my stay at the Hotel VierSeasons was a completely successful experience. I can highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit.

Overall, a nice hotel in general, but unfortunately with many deficiencies in detail or things that could easily be improved to make the stay more enjoyable. Positive things to mention are: - very nice wellness area - Beautiful treeconomy rooms with forest views - Bathrobe and wellness bag with sauna towel and flip flops in the room, even though this is not mentioned on the website and we therefore took our own bathrobes - Building renovated very nicely and to a high standard - Nice breakfast area - Friendly staff - Free parking - Free charging of the electric car - Friendly and accommodating service for special requests - The wild duck is very nice to eat. Very cozy, informal, friendly staff, delicious food and good value for money In our opinion, the following points need improvement or are negative: - only 1 swivel chair and a reading lamp by the bed - Air conditioning didn't work, so it was 25 degrees in the room at the beginning of May - No wine glasses and tea bags in the room - Toilet paper wasn't refilled for 2 days and I ended up taking 2 rolls from the cart outside myself. - The area behind the hotel is nice for hiking. But the Seilersee towards the front is anything but idyllic. The A46 runs right across the lake and crossing the lake is therefore constantly accompanied by road noise - Breakfast buffet disappointing compared to 4 star superior - Hard mini rolls (standard baked rolls are better) - At 7 well at 9 only rudimentarily full and you have to ask about a lot of things. When we asked about glasses for the juices or missing bread, we were rudely referred to the chef. I think the responsibilities are not the guest's responsibility. - We also noticed that “our standard” on the website explicitly mentions fresh juices at breakfast and we were looking forward to freshly squeezed orange juice, but in the end there was only standard juice from purchased bottles with fruit juice concentrate. You don't even have to mention something like this as a special standard, since this type of juice is already available in 2 star hotels and there is nothing special. - The Bircher muesli at breakfast didn't taste remotely like real Bircher muesli. More like something thrown together with various pieces of fruit that don't belong there and canned milk. - Sometimes there is no coffee on the table and you have to actively take care of it yourself - Overall, a lot of active thinking is required anyway, which is not exactly conducive to relaxation - No fresh fruit to take away. It would be nice to be able to take an apple or a banana with you, especially for hikes or the wellness area. - very hard mattress. A narrow topper was provided upon request. Better than nothing, but it was more of a mattress protector than a topper. Since we like it rather soft, we unfortunately couldn't sleep well. A room temperature of 25 degrees didn't help either. Unfortunately, despite the friendly reception, the problem could not be solved in the 3 nights. - No lounge chairs or relaxation areas at the hotel outside of the wellness or bar terrace area. So you can't really hang out outside if the bar isn't open yet. - We actually booked a FORST Class room. Unfortunately, they all face the street and are noisy. We were kindly offered two options, either a free upgrade to the suite, which also faces the street and is simply too loud for those seeking peace and quiet, or a downgrade to the treeconomy, which is actually reasonably quiet and we gratefully accepted. To compensate, we were able to eat two free meals in the in-house restaurants. That was really very accommodating. For those looking for peace and quiet, we recommend booking a Treeconomy room! - The fat forester didn't really appeal to us. The spring salad was basically tasteless and the price/performance ratio was simply not right.

Unfortunately it wasn't so good this time, 3 rooms were booked and we weren't even close to each other. 2 of them were booked with a balcony, 1 of them had one. We weren't there the first time, this time it just wasn't that great, probably fully booked and slightly overwhelmed. For the fact that everyone says it's the most expensive hotel in Iserloh, I don't think the furnishings are that great either, the TV is small, no kettle or something to make coffee. But it's a 4 star hotel, that's what I expect certain standards.

A super new and clean room in the new building. The employees are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The spa area is very nice with various saunas and there are many ways to relax. A treatment (massage) is worth a visit to fully relax!

The hotel is a real discovery. Regardless of whether you would like to relax in the wellness area with pool, various saunas and sunbathing lawn or would rather explore the area, you have come to the right place. The rooms are fantastically beautiful with a wonderful panoramic view of the forest. The bathroom is absolutely perfect in functionality and design. The service is very friendly and attentive. All wishes are virtually read from your eyes. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the coffee from our own roastery is also recommended. Equipment for the spa area is provided in the rooms. There are enough parking spaces directly at the house.

As I understood, this will be the hotel for the Italian soccer team during the European championship this year. To be honest, the room was very basic, and cleaning of the shower good be better. Biggest frustration was that the temperature inside the room was too high, the air-conditioning was not controllable. The reception good also not do anything about this. The restaurant inside the hotel looks very attractive, the food was marvellous, very, very good.

The new hotel extension is very beautiful. With the saunas, the indoor pool and the relaxation areas, it is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Nice SPA, friendly and helpful staff. Minor service deficiencies, booking confirmation (we booked directly with the hotel) came late after multiple requests. Our invoice was wrong, I always have it sent to me by email, the EUR 40 for our dog was booked twice. However, we recovered well and will be back.

Were there over New Year's Eve, incredibly nice hotel, very nice boss and everyone was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The sauna area is very nice and modern and invites you to relax. I'll be there again soon. I think it's great that there is a lot of training there and that employees with other jobs were given a helping hand during Corona times. Very socially minded, which is reflected in the staff and the feel-good atmosphere...

Very nice hotel. Ideal for spending a relaxing weekend. The hotel has a beautiful spa area.

My girlfriend and I spent a wellness weekend here. We really liked it. Everything is clean and the rooms in the Haus am Wald were very nice and furnished to a high standard. The treatments in the spa are particularly worth mentioning. The massages we booked were fantastic and the masseuse, Ms. Eva R., was incredibly friendly 😊 We will come back!

We spent a long weekend here and were generally completely satisfied: great location for hikes in the area, delicious food (also vegetarian) and a nice team. Our forest room was fantastic, especially the underfloor heating in the bathroom - I never want to be without it again! But there are also a few points of criticism: Given the high price, with a 4-course menu with wine accompaniment, I would have expected that you would get 4 wines to go with each course - actually with a few introductory words. In fact, we only got 2 glasses of random, unrelated wine. You even had to pay for the still water that we ordered. I find that quite cheeky. The wellness area was so full on Saturdays that there was no room in the relaxation room. And even with moderate occupancy on Sunday, there weren't enough blankets for all guests, the sparkling water wasn't refilled all day and the wet area wasn't even mopped for several hours. Overall, we were satisfied, but felt that a little more service should be felt given the high price.

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Hotel, ideal für eine kleine Auszeit. Nettes Personal, super Essen, toller Saunabereich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die wirklich großartigen Wellness-Behandlungen im Spa. Egal ob Massage oder Beauty-Treatment - alles qualitativ top und mit viel Liebe umgesetzt. Im Restaurant Fetter Förster gibt es sehr leckere Speisen und einzigartige Desserts (Wir empfehlen den „Umgefallenen Blumentopf“). Kleiner Haken: Es gibt leider kein Gym. Dafür laden E-Autos kostenlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
