Food very good, atmosphere quaint, service always very friendly and accommodating. I'm now 50, came here often with my parents as a small child and now do the same with my children; 3-4 times a year - every time we are on vacation at Tegernsee. The menu is small but the dishes are always very tasty, whether it's the grilled meat from the fireplace in the room or the salmon with salad. The coleslaw is great! The hut is very cozy and rustic, especially in winter with the open fireplace where the grilled meat is also grilled. In summer it's nice to sit in the garden, far away from the hustle and bustle.

We were looking forward to a nice menu on Valentine's Day evening. Our reserved table was only available 45 minutes after the originally booked time at 8:30 p.m., and the service was completely overwhelmed. The “icing on the cake” was - after we had decided on a meal a la carte due to the lateness of the time - a cold meal that was a disaster in terms of taste. Too bad, once and never again.

Located on the edge of Rottach-Egern, this cozy inn & bar also has a garden. You can have a solid meal downstairs and parties are held in the bar on the first floor. The website is very poorly and carelessly made: zero photos, only excerpts from the menu and no option to reserve online. I was there spontaneously for dinner on December 13th, 2024. The service was friendly and attentive. I ate "fillet tips in whiskey cream with homemade rösti" for €30.50 - they were very good, but the portion could have been larger. I would go again for a special occasion; In everyday life it would be too expensive for me.

Gutes Essen im schönen bayrischen Ambiente. Nette und schnelle Bedienung. Bei gutem Wetter kann man sehr schön draußen sitzen.

We've been going there to eat very often for years. Unfortunately, we found out that the current owner was quitting at the end of the month.....it was always very, very good....if I could give more stars I would do so🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I would prefer to give minus stars and not plus stars... The prices were extremely overpriced for over-fried food and there was neither ketchup nor mayo with the portion of ridiculous chicken nuggets with fries, although the fries cost extra (as well as ketchup and mayo each €0.50 extra for a mini bag) just extremely outrageously run down and not really hygienic from the first impression... Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED Chicken nuggets from the bag over fried fries Unge grits over fried… Anyone who wants a stomach ache the next day from eating is welcome here. (Diarrhea inevitable)

Not really. It's also called a café, but there was no cake etc. Unfortunately disappointed.
